May I know why doesn't Chime send a notification to the user? We don't want the alarm but want to know (Push notification) when the door opens when the system is disarmed. For example, during the day the garden door is disarmed, but I would like to know if someone opens it. (Not set off the alarm)
My old security system has a feature that when the system is armed and i open the front door there's a beeping sound indicating i have to enter the pin code. It's a useful feature because it reminds me to disarm the system. Does the Ajax have something similar? I only found this chime feature but it only works in disarmed state.
There are two options for you: - you can use Chime; - you can put the detector in the "Always active" state, where you will receive alarms by opening it with notifications about the alarm.
Only the sensor can trigger the automatization devices in such a way by scenario. You can find more info about scenarios on our site: support.ajax.systems/en/manuals/scenarios/

Hello, This is a hardware limitation, all devices (except for hubs and ReX) get their firmware at the production in Ukraine. For security reasons, we do not share software, firmware files, or firmware installation equipment with partners or third parties. Please, note that the main functionality of the devices which is declared within its manual at our website is operating properly on all the release firmware versions.
