- Praise the Lord! We welcomed our newest son into this world at 2:56am in our home on February 6th, 2021.
. . . Lawrence!
Thank you to everyone who prayed with us through this journey of him turning breech at 37 weeks and spinning around just in time for us to have a smooth natural labor at 38 weeks.
Today we are telling Lawrence’s birth and delivery story, what took us off guard, what went well, and how we are feeling two days in to have FOUR kiddos!
We are rejoicing in God’s grace and faithfulness to our family.

I am pregnant with my first one and what your husband quoted from “Because He lives” is so true 😭😭😭 Praise God!
Your labor and delivery story encourages me. I will pray for a quick delivery 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 God bless you and your beautiful family, Katie! ♥️
Great birth story!
Thanks for the encouragement for our children in these uncertain times.
God is sovereign!!!
Congratulations y’all! I just have to say that Katie looks amazing!
Aww, thank you, Emily!
Our adjustment of 4ages 4 and under had it’s difficulties but the Lord is so faithful and children thrive with routine, discipline and tons of love. Wishing you a smooth adjustment and Gods blessings!🙏🏻😊
Congratulations!! Katie you look phenomenal! So thankful you had a safe and healthy delivery that you wanted! ♥️ I love baby boys name! Praying you have a smooth recovery and baby boy thrives with his siblings!
We had our twins, number 3 and 4, the day before our oldest turned 3, so those first 6 months were a blur. A beautiful blur, but still a blur. It was hard, but God sustained me through it! We adapted out of necessity and I didn’t think 4 was too much harder than 2, but I definitely had to press in and seek God for strength! Congratulations on little Lawrence’s birth! He’s precious!
Congratulations!!! What a blessing you had a safe labor, praying for a quick recovery and healthy baby 🙏
Our babies have the same birthday! I remember that Friday night, too! Lolol
My SIL had her 4th (4, four & under) this last year! They transitioned great! You’re rockstars! You’ve got this ☺️
I take great comfort in that verse of because he lives as well! Congrats y'all!
I’m a mama of four too. 5, 4, 2.5, and 10 months! I can’t wait to listen to this during nap time! 😄 I really enjoyed your family planning podcast! I can’t remember if that is the one where you were mentioning that you don’t watch the news in your home and that your world is very small but I totally agree with you there! I deleted Instagram and Facebook a few months ago and it has been so freeing! I do honestly miss your encouraging posts though! I’m so happy for y’all! Congrats on another great blessing from the Lord! I would love to know in a few months which transition has been the most challenging. For me it was number 4! I think it was mainly because my 1 year old was into EVERYTHING and it was so hard to keep up with and train her, and take care of a newborn plus a 4 and 3 year old. But now that we are past that and God has dimmed my memory of the hard times, and I’m sleeping through the night again, I think we will be ready for number five soon. 😆
Congratulations! So sweet to hear you talk about a home birth, may the Lord bless you!
Congratulations on the new addition in your family. So happy for you.
Congratulations on the healthy birth of your fourth! I’m due with our third in 3 1/2 weeks and I can’t tell you how thrilled and eager I am to have you and your husband’s troubleshooting and experience to gain wisdom from! 🙏🏼 I pray that you’ll do a few videos around your three hour scheduled feedings and sleep training at six weeks. Those are both two topics I’d love some additional insight on and know you’ve referenced a few times before. Congratulations again!! ❤️
Thanks for sharing! Praying for Katie to continue to recover well and strength for you guys in this 4th trimester. Katie you look amazing! 🥰
Also preggo with the 4th kiddo and we will fall into the 4 under 4 years old category so I can relate with the intimidating feeling 🤍
Congratulations you guys, so happy for you!!!! May the Lord keep on blessing you and keeping you in this new season of your life.
Congratulations on your new baby! What an exciting time time for your family.
Love birth stories! Thanks for sharing guys!
Praise the Lord for a healthy babe and mama! 🙌🏼
Fast labors are SUPER hard, pretty intense for sure. Our second was born in about 4.5 hours, WHOA. 💥👶🤣
Congratulations! So happy for you.😊You inspire me in many ways. We are a young family too and currently looking forward to baby #5 in the spring and will have 5, age 5 and under. It’s hard at times but wouldn’t want it any different. After the 3rd child, the next ones just blend in and it’s great!😊
I’m so so happy for you both and your little family:)
Congratulations!! Enjoy the season💖
Love the navy pajamas! Can you share where you purchased them?
Amazon for the win!
Congratulations!
Congrats you guys! I always keep an eye out for these videos around that 37/38 week mark 😜 blessings!!
Congratulations! I can totally relate to the dependency...we just had our 3rd 8 weeks ago, and our oldest is 4! When you guys were talking about how tough it is to get everyone in/out of the car near a street i laughed out loud 🤣 Hope it is a great transition! You'll rock it 👍
Congrats!!💙 So happy for you he's finally there! It's the best feeling in the world when baby is out. 😄 Love this! It all sounds so familiar and yes; once you have a newborn, the older ones are giants!😂 We have 5 kids aged 7,6,4,2 and 4 months. So yeah, I feel ya😅. Love from Holland, blessings to you and your family❤️
Congrats! Thank you for sharing :)
Oh, now I really want to know what happened in the birth pool! haha
congratulations on the added load! 😂 I'm 32 weeks and my baby is breech now. What was the intervention you had? Could you tell us a little bit about that? Thanks!
A "ECV" or "Version" Google was super helpful for me. I hear a lot of babies are still moving a lot until 37 weeks though, so they usually don't attempt it until later in the pregnancy so it "sticks." :)
Literally listen to the whole thing trying to understand the actual at home birth process and you just giggled and talked right past it. Privacy is respected but if you’re going to post the whole video disclaimer that you don’t talk about the things women are clicking on the video for
