Hi, thanks for this very nice video. I have just Bought Sonic3 in size 15m. What size of barre and lines do you advise me for jumping and looping? I ride Ozone Edge and Core Xr6 in 7m , 9m, 11m and 15m and this Sonic3 is my first Foilkite. Thanks
Hi, I would suggest you to go for a 55 or 60cm bar.
Concerning the line length, I would recommend to fly your 15.0 with 17/20m lines, depending of the wind conditions & board you will use, the good thing with the Flysurfer bars is you can play with the extensions to adapt your line length to the conditions.

I have some questions about Sonic 3.
My riding style is easygoing :^)
Im not a super fast rider. Just taking it easy.
I want 1 kite for light winds and 1 kite for strong-to-medium winds.
I had FS3 21m. Could go in almost no wind with my weight 70kg on a snowboard and mountainboard.
But when the wind picked up a bit, I had problems to be overpowered.
So, I sold it and got FS4 lotus 18m and 12m. On twintip on the water or on a mountainboard I could use 18m and 12m in almost no wind. I was surprised to have almost the same power on 12m lotus by constantly looping or flying up and down the kite like I had with 18m lotus.
Because 18m can not fly fast up and down to generate the power.
I heard that Sonic3 11m has more power than 12m Soul and I suppose the Soul 12m is a bit more powerful than 12m lotus.
Now my question is, which size of Sonic 3 would you recommend for a low winds for me?
From flying lotus kites I have an experience that I dont need 18m kite because with a smaller size I can generate the same power as a big kite has.
Im thinking between 11m, 13m and 15m Sonic 3.
Maybe 11m will be fine? Or maybe with 13m I can go even in a lighter winds than with 11m?
Or 15m can be the best low wind kite for me?
For example if I can fly 11m and 15m in vere very low wind and with 11m I can generate the same power as 13m or 15m, it means I dont need theese bigger kites.
Unfortunately I can't try the kites before buying. Thats why Im asking your opinion.
