Chin up Tommy, find your feet, enjoy yourself, focus on what makes you happy. You come across as a sound bloke.

Well, I prefer boxing fury, fighting the second Paul brother can sell pay-per-view’s and tickets so I think you should edit your comment and put “boxing”
Not a good idea. Not yet anyway. Tommy would need time to get acquainted with the grappling. Jake was a Division 1 wrestler in high school and has dabbled in juijitsu for a while. Him and Logan were good wrestlers growing up. He will have that advantage on Tommy unfortunately. That’s probably the real reason why Jake fancies his chances in MMA against Nate cos he thinks with that background he can keep the fight vertical and beat him on the feet. Man’s naive if he really thinks that with Nate.
His boxing is already better than basically anyone in the UFC, so 2 years of sub/takedown defense and a bit of kicking would make him a champ at 185 easily. UFC striking level is so bad.
“Yeah but, I’ll just bite you as well” Love that. Always cracked me up when people would say yeah but in the street there’s no rules. Like… yeah bro. Imagine fighting one of those blokes when they’re NOT holding back? Like a trained fighter wouldn’t be able to conceive of anything dirty😂.
If he did a weight cut he could get pretty low for a fight, but his walking around weight is definitely HW territory. But look at someone like Dricus Du Plessis, he's a big dude too out of camp but he's fighting at middleweight. He's got a lot of muscle as well.
Better explanation for the elbows at the end and why it’s better to have a relaxed hand. With your hand relaxed, feel where you will be landing the elbows, then ball your fists and do the same. When your hand is tensed you can feel the muscle around the area that’s covering a good bit of the bone and basically cushioning the elbow. Learned this when I was a kid and remember being absolutely mind blown mid class lol.
I actually feel like Tommy might be physically built more for MMA than boxing. He's clearly very big and strong, and he can use that advantage in the grappling. Those long arms are certainly good for any striking sport. His hands down style actually works better in MMA more than boxing because keeping your hands up in MMA isn't nearly as effective due to the smaller glove size. This is all guess work, however.
Well not much of a hot prospect in boxing, so figured next step is MMA, plus a lot more money in MMA. Hence the next obvious transition. A better build for MMA 100%.
Tommy - you are such a great man. Truly a fantastic role model for men - you beat every opponent while remaining classy the entire way through. Congratulations on the well-earned success! FURY 🔥
I upvoted this, but I have just realized, that maybe race is included in this. Mike Tyson was super jacked in boxing and still lighting fast and all high-function. Usyk undisputed box, and Tom undisputed mma are both fully functional, but doesn't looked as jacked as other races, like Joshua in boxing, or Pereira or Adesanya in MMA. I think white people have harder to time to build muscle without bodybuilding.
When he said he doesn't like elbowing people in the face it made me reflect on this whole sport and why I am participating in it myself. This coming from the world champion whose job is to do this and not some lady who blindly rejects any violence, makes me feel kind of bad for enjoying fighting and hurting people.
Tom could also coach Tommy in boxing because his techniques and delivery are more explosive . Most of all Tom can finish off his challenges inside the distance unlike Tommy
Both of these guys deserve a medal, they both endured a whole day or more of Eddie Hall and his tales of cappery and exaggeration. I've heard that man tell the same story quite literally 3 or 4 different ways depending on who he's talking to and what amazed me the most was he doesn't seem to realise how easy it is for people to fact check his bs and call him out on it (which is exactly what I'm doing here right now).
