I watched this anime and it took a long time for it to become interesting really what kept me wanting to keep watching was the music it has power and yet it's so fragile (if that makes sense) so I really enjoyed listening to you two sing an english version I hope later in my future I will be able to help some of my favorite musicians and singers to continue their work until they are fully satisfied with their work (it'll have to wait for now but my boss wants to make me the manager of his southern restaurant so I'll be there in no time if everything goes to plan) so until then happy singing (and everything else)

Ok this is so good! Most of anime song covers are pretty bad but the emotions, the vibe. The connection and the chemistry of the voices i can't, it's too perfect. The only thing I don't like about this is that it's literally missing the original song's main point and message. The original Japanese lyrics was "Let's escape the solar system, and cross it in parallel lines" which means, she wants to escape the world together with him, but they're parralel lines. They're close, but not connected. They're always together but they're not connected. The lyrics "And connect through parallel lines" just misses the point. Because she wants them to be platonic, but this version just says "connecting" as like in love.

The show ended with not even a platonic relationship, a complete separation. But the girl said they didn't want to let each other go. They're so tired of the pain in the world, that they just want to escape from the solar system. It's extremely deep. And the line "and cross it in parallel lines" means that they go together, platonically. "we connect, two parallel lines" still doesn't bring out the same deep message. I think it means they connect in their journey through across the moon and stars(this isn't supposed to sound cringe, it's based on the cover's lyrics) and they become connected through love. It's lovely but shallow. The original message is so much deeper and emotional.
