First Gadget - The projectiles shoot 0.15 tiles away from darryl so he won't be able to deal THAT much damage, still effective Hypercharge: the puddle is just like pears HC, it's not gonna be useful. nerf the speed to 75% faster. idea i have for the hc abillity: when supering darryl ignites himself and explodes in 2.5 seconds, dealing 1.5k damage in a radius like this: (1st Row: 3 tiles, 2nd-3rd row, 4 tiles, 4th row 3 tiles) radius also when he rolls over someone he steals 1/4 of their super.
your hc idea is very interesting! so he explodes in a similar manner as tick's gadget, but without the knockback and much larger? the steal super thing might be a little strong, especially with everything else on top of that, I would say make it to 1/5 maybe. I do think your hyper idea is better then mine though. very interesting! ❤
His kit is not that bad, i think your rework is maybe one of the better ones. And i think that the hypercharge would be that Darryl supers can follow enemies like Belle and also go faster.

Best darryl rework i've seen so far. They were really good improvement while not completely remove what make darryl, darryl and they could be actually be added to the game since they are not to over the top. As a darryl main since 2019 I really love this video.
I was thinking that when he rolls, it will be like his gadget, but in his super while rolling, he will shoot around him for 1000 and make it a bit longer when activating it I think is cool idea especially since he's getting to rolls next update
This is probably the best Darryl rework idea but here some stuff that I would change about this 1. His first gadget damage should only go to 700 maybe 800 at best the other buffs already make the gadget a lot better we don't want it to be broken like Rico gadget 2. The steel hopes should be 30% 3 seconds or 3.5 seconds 4 seconds is just way too long 3. I think rolling reload should work like an ammo steal like Chuck star power after hitting someone with super would be more interesting and fits Darryl character a lot since he's a pirate yk
Overall i think this is a great rework but tbh i think u need to buff his hyper a bit, eg: when Darryl uses barrel roll, he shoots both sides (3 tiles long) during the animation which slows you for 2 seconds and burns for 300 damage over 4 seconds.
Here's my take: -Darryl now has 6 ammo, tapping autofire makes him shoot a single shot (like Bull, for example) But holding the attack button can make Darryl shoot up to 3 shots in a single button press (kinda like amber, but worse). - 14% Reload Speed buff. -Recoiling Rotator reworked into Barrel o' Gunpowder: upon activation, Darryl explodes in an area of 5 tiles, shooting a wave of bullets around him and knocking back opponents who are to close to him. -Tar Barrel reworked into Abandon Ship!: Darryl Dashes backwards for half of his super range, gaining 60% shield while dashing. Whaddaya Think? Edit: Forgot to put this. 80% super range buff

In my opinion , for his hypercharge he should be able to steal ammos from the enemy when Rolling over them, so they have less defense and you more offense

as for the 1st gadget, i honestly would change it for something that helps him roll faster into battle (jk) since he now has 2 supers Rolling haste: Darryls gets 1 super instantly, however, this super doesn't activate his damage reduction kinda good and its mostl for rolling in or out for his HC, would add him a knock up when hitting a brawler, not as strong as a stun, but not too bad as a slowdown but hey, HONEY AT LEAST OUR CAPTAIN RECIVED A BUFF LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO

Darryl's Basic attack now shoots 2 bullets, each dealing 1500 damage(range remains the same) Super remains the same Gadgets: Rapid-Fire Cannon (rework first gadget): Darryl stops all movement and for 3 seconds shoots bullets rapidly in all directions, each bullet dealing 300 damage (total of 45 bullets are shot) Range: Mico's Slow gadget Precise Shot (second gadget rework): Darryl shoots a bullet to the sky, homing at the nearest enemy brawler and stunning them for 1.5 seconds Range: Mico's slow gadget Star Powers Barrel Of Destruction (1st star power rework) Darryl's super now makes an explosion on impact instead of knocking enemies, dealing 3400 damage to enemies nearby, Darryl's super is also 15% slower and has 15% less range Tar Barrel (2nd star power rework): Darryl's super doesn't knock enemies on hit anymore, it slows them by 40% for 2 seconds on impact
