love this show. i'm looking for the ep where they realise most of the fans of "sword of damacles" are gay, and introduce damacles' brother ramacles to get a ratings boost. any ideas?
I can say is google an episode guide and skim. I love the one where they talk about killing off all the characters on "Beever Creek" (think that was the name of the show within the show) with a rabid beaver because some of the key actors were holding out signing their contracts. :)
@Surfer I have them yes. If you are interested I could find some way to get them to you if you form a pact with me to share Season 5 if you ever get it. I have tried petitioning the CBC but they only provide copies to actors that were in the show. Might be worth bugging one of the characters.
When a kid is upset that his toy was made in Canada and had a tantrum, it’s neither the parents fault or the kids fault for being upset by the kids reaction madly or sadly, confused as to why he doesn’t like it, or that there shouldn’t be any reason to their minds thoughts as to why it can’t be an enjoyable toy, the thing is, Canada doesn’t have every last industry a metal toy industry needs in order to make a gaming device and so in places like the US, Japan, it’s known that the US is heavily drafted and swarmed with toys that have a history of coming into kids toy shops like Toys R Us back nearly 50 years ago, the thing with the young ones minds is that in older times and more primitive historical times, their toys then would’ve never existed for such a great use and enjoyment like we have in today’s world, that’s not the reason their that easily made upset that it comes from Canada but it’s the understanding of what was out there then, what still keeps and holds onto very old and primitive history times type devices that made things then and Canada can make a toy doll for example, it can make a little babies toy rattle, but it’s the toy rattle that they can’t help but make with heated plastic that’s been recycled and molded into the form and shape that will have a line around its sides being made visible to see where it’s sealed and the thing is, it’s heated to melt the plastic ends into place and thereby it’ll be able to sustain the little balls that are comparable to pebbles inside of them. The thing with Canada is, it’s supposed to keep its age, it’s one of those countries that prefers to still keep its quality and older likeness, it will find the idea at times to make a machine more in good use and to make it repaired and such, but replacing it with a whole new machine and something more audible is like telling Canada, would you like a leaf blower instead of a rake? They don’t feel the need to rush up their work and get something done instantly, but they also don’t mind feeling good hearted about doing the work to feel responsible, so that is where in the boundaries Canada is with our universe, they can’t help by their own laws, want to be keep themselves in the more sustained date of time, if not industrial times
Two things I love about this show, Rick Mercer and that this was the show that introduced me to The Tragically Hip.

The voice over in the beginning is that of Tony Daniels, who did some voiceover work for CBC in the early 2000s.
