Thank you Bob. We really appreciate all the time and effort you, and Jenny, spend putting your really informative, and helpful, videos together. This is no exception. We watch them all and have subscribed but this is our first comment. We can all learn from shared experiences and we never go to a site without checking your 'arriving at' (or how 'not to arrive at' 😀) which give us good insights into what to expect en-route. Please keep up the good work.
Thanks Bob for a very good review. With suspension it’s very subjective especially because you can’t really have a like for like road experience. The extra functionality of the system probably appeals to a lot of users but considering anyone who uses the van regularly would mainly be looking for benefit from the smoother ride. I know it’s not cheap but being a retired vehicle technician I can see what goes into the system. Hopefully I can convince the boss upstairs.
Hello Bob, thank you for this review. You have explained and answered all the questions and It is certainly an addition I am thinking about. One lest question, given the ride and functionality improvement vs the cost would you fit it again? Thanks once again, have a great Christmas!
Hi , Bob . I purchased the vb semi comfort which has improved the ride handling especially when passing lorries . I now wish we went the full hog and purchased the unit you have . I hate levelling the motorhome all the time, especially when it’s raining. Thank you for a great review.🐶🏴
You're welcome. I did wonder whether we should have got the levelling jacks as well, but not sure they are needed. I believe you could upgrade to full, but best to check with VB.
Great informative video Bob thank you, i suppose it's good for stability when your walking around inside you can't feel the movement (especially if one of you is in bed etc) Thanks again enjoy x
Hi Bob a great review as ever well done and can definitely see the advantages of the vb system does it affect the fuel consumption with the compressor as I presume it’s running constantly to keep system pressurised? It’s much better solution to levelling the van and protecting the water tanks all the best Daniel
Thanks. The compressor isn't going all the time it just tops up the air tank when needed. I don't think there's any noticeable effect on fuel consumption.
Thank you Bob. Wouldn't it be great if this type of thing was fitted as standard (I do live in cloud cuckoo land as my old mum would say). It certainly makes journeys and setting up/emptying water less stressful.
Really interesting review Bob, looks like lots of handy things, especially the ground clearance, some other handy features too like auto-levelling. Do you find the van sits more solid when parked up than it did? Have a good weekend, David 👍
Thanks for the review. Certainly something for us if/when we upgrade our Rapido next year. I think we'd use the carpark mode when we go shopping so my wife don't have such a step up when she returns.
Seems a shame that you’ve had to spend all that money to rectify grounding issues caused by Swifts appalling design. Can’t believe how low your freshwater tank is to the ground, hopefully the extra clearance will help.
I hope you don't think I soent that money just to rectify the low tank cap! That is being addressed through Swift's tank cage. The extra clearance offered with VB Air would be a benefit to any motorhome with a low chassis, plus there are several other benefits such as ride comfort.

Thanks. I didn't want people to go away the impression it was some sort of magic carpet ride, but the extra modes are very useful.
Well worth waiting for and, as usual, a thorough review. Many thanks Bob. Ian

Thank you. It's something I always wanted, so if I have the money, yes I would do it again.

It is fitted as standard on some (very) expensive motorhomes.

I can't say I thought it was more solid on the ground. Certainly more level.

Yes that's a good point about the car parking mode.
does the new suspension add weight to the van.
It includes a compressor and an air tank, so I suppose it must add some extra weight. I don't know how much.
Great video Bob very informative and interesting , keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you
