Huge thanks to Beechy and the guys at Drfta for such an epic fit out - They literally made the ideas in our heads a reality. We've been on the road now for 10 days and its just unreal. The induction & electrical system works like a dream, and the table makes the inside area such a pleasant living space. These guys smashed it. Once we've put the finising touches we hope to post a full tourer rig run down on our channel. Can't recommend these guys highly enough! Chris & Alex
That's a nifty design! Hey, do you have any information about those seats? I'm running the vinyl workmate seats and I hate them. My build is getting done in September. going to be an itchy few months.
Hey! Yes our seats are from ProSeat- a really awesome couple of guys based in Brisbane. Super comfy and supportive, really great quality finish and they look awesome. Won’t leave you quite so out of pocket as Ricaros either! Good luck with your build!
Brilliant design Beechy, if I wasn’t in love with my Patrol I’d be sending a fresh Troopy your way 😂 Can’t wait to see what you do with my rig this week 😍
Hi Beechy Another great build. With the slightly wider than usual RHS cabinetry to accommodate the fridge, what width is the walkway? Feet fit perpendicular OK ? Cheers
Looks like a great setup. Just wondering why the Victron solar controller was required in lieu of using the built-in red-arc controller? I assume it was just a panel & battery capacity consideration to get the most out of both and ensure max. charge but was curious as to whether there was any other reason not to use the red-arc?
I missed to mention the solar panel we fitted! The penal was a victron 48v panel so we needed a 48v mppt...basically gives you a faster charging rate. We also added an Anderson plug wired through the Redarc DCDC so they could plug in a standard 12v solar panel if needed for a little extra charge. Good question - thanks for asking 👍
Beechy, great kitchen extension / fold out, but could you make the kitchen extension slightly different. Make the extension fold out from underneath not from on the top? this will allow the first section to be a flat usable surface?
Hmm, not sure to be honest. To the underside of the bench are the stainless steel runners, so it would be tricky to have the bench fold under. something like a drop on laminated panel that fit above the top fold over bench would be much easier with the same result.

Nice build and upgrade in video quality!!
Without impinging on the customer’s privacy what might be a ballpark estimate for a similar fit-out? 🤔🧐
Also, do you stock the induction cooker?
