Topic: What does Quran says about who are Mushrikeen?
Guest: Edip Yuksel
He is the author of more than twenty books on religion, politics, philosophy and law in Turkish. He has also written various articles and essays in English. He was a Turkish Islamist and a popular Islamic commentator until the mid-1980s when he rejected his previous religious beliefs and only used the Quran as the source of divine laws.

Is someone's name is Abd Allah, does it mean that he is Allah as Abd and Allah are written side by side. when we say La ilaha illallah, Muhammad Rasullullah, does it mean Muahmmad is equivalent to Allah.
Read about the history of masjid , it used to be called masjida , where idol worshippers used to worship idols . Please do research .
Masjid means place of submission, or worship, please use your brain, anybody can claim to worship anything in a masjid, thats why God says in the Quran that masjids are for God so do not invoke anyone with God.
Peace
Bringing all experts to one platform.. Great work team.
Edip n other few scholars r reconstructing what was the actual message of Allaha. It has been narrowed n mixed with all cultural n personal ideas n distorted Deen. Sarfraz keep up ur great work of searching n propagating truth n Quran guidance.
i am fron bangladesh .here evry person specialy emams became god .they have no knowledge little knowledge on quran even educated person depend on emam.
The main topic of the Quran is SHIRK, which has expanded in detail by Allah swt in different places, with examples such as:
18/26 + 18/110 + 7/33 + 9/1-6 Someone needs to study very carefully the Quran.
Peace 74: 30 (19) ☝️🙏 🌐☮️
An additional form of shirk is the belief that there are others besides God that possess powers to harm or benefit. Examples such as beliefs in superstitions or the belief that Shaytan has power to bring harm or benefits, or the belief in the so-called evil eye 👀. Many sunnis are obsessively fearful of the so-called evil eye 👀.
Clearly the "mushrikuns" so often cited in the quran, often translated as "polytheists" or "associators" or "idolaters" refer in fact to christians who believe in trinity (meaning that they give "associates" to God, which is considered in islam to be the worse sin called "shirk") ... and not at all to so-called "pagans" or "idolaters" from Mecca.
Moreover historians have established that there was no more polytheism in Arabia in the 7th century as most Arabs, especially in cities, had been christianized or judaized.
DO YOU HAVE URDU TRANSLATED SAME TOPIC? BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE VERY WORRIED THAT WANT TO KNOW IT FOR MAKE GREAT DECISION.
if Muhammad is a messenger of Allah, then what is wrong to say Ashadu anna Muhammdur Rasul Allah in Azan.
Assalamualaikum,can you clarify me surah : 4: 15 and 16 pls
Thanks Edip Yuksel for a fascinating talk . Can you give your view of 22:41 ?
This brother is droping knowledge.
Fruitful discussions… like it
is Hyana halal or haram, scholars? why?
Excellent conversation
Excellent coverage of a very important subject .
Thank you and God bless you .
MashaAllah what a logical discussion. It brings out the truth no doubt. Thanks to both of you.
I understand the things brother Edip is saying but without Hadith how do we know hajj rituals?
The rituals of Hajj are not defined in the hadiths. Hajj is a living tradition. Its practices and rituals were passed down from generation to generation. These practices were already known by the people while the Quran was revealed.
Like to know the Arabic (Quranic) meaning of worshipping.
The respect Brother Sarfaraz affords his guest, even if he may disagree fundamentally with some of them, is praiseworthy.
Edip yüksel the Thank you sheikh
You should debate Daniel pickatchu
Edip Yuksel's ideology is close to Wahabbi ideology, excluding he does not recognize ahadith as a legal source of the religion.
Following the Quran as the only source constitutes to listening and obeying Almighty God alone. Edip is not promoting his own ideology. Why do you insist on division when Almighty Allah accepted what Abraham named believers which is Muslims or Submitters? All the sects of Islam are not following the path of Almighty God. They are Sunni's, Shia, etc. Those following the commands from the Quran alone are Muslims. Very simple.
What nonsense you are spewing here!
Edip Yuksel is "Quran only ", denying all hadiths. This a Fitna.
"Quranists" have no similarity, not at all comparable to Wahhabi,Deobondi, Berelvis or
4 majhabs!
"Quranist" not only reject hadiths, but also alter, change, mistranslate, interpolate Arabic ayats of the Quran to deceive, trick Muslims.

Read Dr Kashif Khan's articles about Quran's translation and become excellent Muslims.
Tell Kasif to come up with full translation/interpretation of the Quran not a verse from here and there.
Are you Quranist?
please explain 33:37
What about differentiating between ahlilkitab and mushriks in the Quran? Edip does not differentiate between them.
Ask Mr. Yuksel about the meaning of rasool ? Thanks.
Plz read Sura 7 starting from Ayat No 57 and onwards. The word Rasool best explained by Quran itself.
@@ta3781 rasool means message not messenger. On whom the message is revealed is called nabi. Maybe you already know . Have u read Dr Kashif Khan's articles ? Thanks for your reply . Jazakallah khair.
Rasool is someone or something that carries the divine message. It can be a human being too and Muhammad was not the last rasool
@@submittersperspective8251 Quran and Torah etc are the rasools of Allah , rasool means message . The person male or female on whom the rasool / message of Allah is revealed is called nabi. I would like u to read Dr Kashif Khan's articles about Quran's translation. He has also explained rasool and nabi in his articles.
Jazakallah khair brother.
@@Showme-SHORTS I can see that you lack understanding of the Arabic language. A message is risaala and the person delivering it is the rasool. After the human rasool passes away , the book becomes the rasool . A nabi is the rasool through whom the book is revealed. There is a difference between rasool and nabi . Insha Allah you should subscribe to my channel if you wish to know more. Salam
