Look at Bethesda modders, Roblox creators , Fortnite , Minecraft , the future of gaming is not compete reliance of gaming companies handing everything you want on a silver platter

It’s up to HCS what’s put on competitive, not the teams. They really have no control
If the teams commissioned competitive maps to be forge 343 would be way more likely to use them. They already use forged maps so it’s not even far fetched

While agree that there are a lot of OG maps, there are plenty of original maps still in competitive: Aquarius, Streets, Live Fire, Argyle, forbidden, recharge.
Bring back Behemoth, bazaar, catalyst.

HCS Atlanta 2018 for H5 had 200K views on Twitch and UA-cam
HCS Atlanta 2024 For Infinite had 400 K views on Twitch and UA-cam

As much as I would like classic movement, it’s not happening. Every time people think they are going back to it but at this point it is probably too late. Halo has now spanned more years with sprint than without. 343 has even said they want to remake halo 1 with these mechanics in mind

I’ve been saying this for quite awhile now. We need more damn ranked maps. Quite pathetic how little we have. It’s so boring watching pros play the same maps over and over again. Like what year are we in now for this game and how many ranked maps have been added or removed lmao. Such a joke.
They should be putting out a minimum of 3 original competitive maps in a 12 month period. The problem is that the competitive community axed like 2 or three maps that were actually enjoyable on a competitive level
All I know is Starboard should be a map that’s actually in the HCS rotation that map is outright beautiful I don’t care what anyone says, it feels and plays so good than these shit ass boring forge maps that have no soul to it
The sad part is these maps have existed for 2 years already, but 343 is hyper fixated on remakes to bait nostalgia.
Did Trippy miss the ForgeHub tourney that LVT did? Quite a few pros played in that and these maps were designed for competitive play iirc
I think the forgers just need someone from microsoft or 343 to help them optimize for the games engine/fps after they make the beautiful map. I think that's the only reason why we don't rely on the free labor from forgers.

Man... Even if they did it where forgers make competitive maps, with 343s man power itll take them 5 fuckn months to just check over the maps & make them ready for the game. Ironically, Halo Infinite is neither a good Halo games nor a good fps. If it didn't have the Halo brand, GamePass and the Series S/X launch hyping it up, it would've been ignored by the gaming community. The game is the biggest missed opportunity this gen.

how about everyone accepting that halo infinite is trash and halo 5 was trash and halo 4 was trash. 343 isnt capable of creating a halo experience we love. it wasnt their love or ambition to create an amazing game. only to continue Microsoft's cash grab on the franchise. sprint was added, didnt matter because the hallways and paths grew so sprint effectively does nothing but make everyones adhd happy. grenades are not even worth throwing. and the weapons ALL suck.

343 doesn’t know what they’re doing. They took a DMR and called it a bandit which nobody ever used and made the main weapon for ranks slayer. They got a bulldog they call Shotty they took out slayer and put objective games in. They made the BR weaker than the bandit. Sad day in Halo history nobody’s playing.
The game gives no incentive to create maps for the community or pros so...
i don't get the obsession with adding new maps to comp all the time. Replacing bad maps makes sense but adding new ones just for the hell of it seems silly

@@emericask822 idk man cs has played the same maps for like 20 years and it's far more popular than halo. I could watch Coli Ctf from h5 a million times and never get bored. But h5 had a way higher skill gap and was way more fun to watch so maybe that's part of it. Infinite is just boring idk if maps will change that

@@joerowland9128 h4 is far more hated. h5 didn't have scump and zooma doing watch parties to boost viewership either. Tashi is terrible at his job so that makes sense. h5 has a higher skill gap than infinite, thats just reality. every halo pro agrees with me.
