- Daytona Beach bike week 2020 on Friday, Bikes on the Boardwalk and Main Street. Thousands were in town for the Daytona Bike Week when the Coronavirus pandemic really hit. We were able to get some good footage of the bike week on Friday, one day before the Mayor pulled all outside permits.
The 2020 Full Throttle magazine bike contest had some of the best custom motorcycles in the country. Main street was still popping. Stay tuned for more footage from Daytona bike week.

Glad I stayed away this time. Maybe when the virus is all done I'll go. Till then, its solo rides and back home. Lucky to own a nice Limited and be able to stay at home, in home with a good pantry.

I see theres a lot of harleys at bike week, but where are the real bikes?
We live here, all Triumph/BSA/Norton, BMW, Ducati, KTM, hand shift flat head AHRMA race bikes. Vintage daily riders Honda, Kawa, Yamaha etc etc. We don't do Main St. we meet up every Fri and Sunday often other days.We live bike lives not weeks.
I have a 1985 Yamaha Vmax dark red metallic in mint condition with 11,000 original miles and I have yet to see a Vmax in any bike week video!

I was there,weather was beautiful, not too hot but warm enough to do 1200 miles in a week around orlando to Key a West and back and around Daytona. Atmosphere is really electric when there.

I haven't followed the custom bike scene for like 15 years and at that time the Bobber style was all the rage. Very nice motorcycles with a vintage vibe but watching this new style with the big bicycle wheel in the front and cases in the back I don't know... What's this style called anyway? Why so many of them nowadays?

Abelucious, the City of Daytona pulled the vendor permits on the last weekend. The first weekend through the week, there were no warnings. The Wuhan scare started at the last weekend. The county of Volusia stayed open to the end.

Daytona is not only Bikes and ugly girls in the expo bikes .. is walks girls ..and i think are more pretty than the other one's ..
You Americans used to have the best biker / chopper culture with awesome bikes. Now is all about "put everything you can buy on that motorcycle" they all looks like weird bizarre circus in two wheels. And the stupid big front wheel bagger are the worst of all. It's all about "Look how stupidly shiny, colorful and full of led lights is my ride" I don't know when you lost the good taste in bikes. If you watch "Zombie chopper run" in France, for example. This looks like a comercial for kids. Maybe the problems is you make everything a product to sell more.
Can't believe it's still not law to wear a crash helmet whilst riding a motorcycle in the US, or that the riders don't voluntary wear one..........strange.

I wouldn't hold the city responsible. trump was spreading misinformation for weeks before hand and he knew it. The infection and death rate originating from New Orleans is another example of trump's criminal behavior.
