Tiny bit of feedback to help improve natural hair textures for BIPOC- for dreads like that, the main part of the loc that has been tightly packed will appear less textured than near the scalp due to how tightly it has been loc together. The scalp would have the new growth and thus be looser in coil, unless it’s just after a retwist day and then it gets tight up until the scalp again.
Just some thoughts! I personally felt the texture got too loose too far into the individual locs- for instance what is in the bun is great for the main body of the loc and what you have going on around the back of the head would be better concentrated around like 1-2 model inches from the scalp and then differentiate those couple of “inches” around the scalp head to show it’s different locs and not just a flat overall texture. Locs are really complex in their texture and given how significant hair is to the natural hair community (BIPOC) I would want to see a more thoughtful approach to the nuances in these hair cultures
