- About 2 years ago when I was playing on XBox, I went to another room to play COTW on a different console than I usually used. When I returned to my home console, my lodges were GONE! POOF! I contacted EW and was told that the cause was from uploading my account to the Cloud. That when I brought my account back, it forgot the lodges and they vanished basically. I could never get them back. I lose over 100 diamonds and many rares! I have since replaced most of what was stolen from me but the legacy diamonds I can never replace! If you can avoid doing this, if at all possible, please do not move your account to a different console. IT COULD SAVE YOU YOUR LODGES! I really hope this helps someone to keep their hard earned trophies! I hope you enjoy today's short! Lady Legend XO

If you transfer for console to console or from console to pc or whatever you can save your game in a usb file and there is a whole lot of tutorials of how to do it.

That is unbelievable that that can happen. Some of the bugs in this game are responsible for people quitting. They need to focus more on cleaning up the games bugs/issues before adding more. The red deer issue was ridiculous....and was left for a long time broken. Same with geese.
They’ve come a long way with fixing bugs. And are still working on it.

yea your videos as well as flintser videos in fact I joined his livestream yesterday I told him I wish they added cool music like that to the game, at the home screen and when you get to your safehouse/cabin it's there. but other than that nope ☹

Hey lady same here mine happened about 1 year ago from now lost all my diamonds 😢 but got two diamond red deer on New Zealand and also lost guns and items and a bit broke since I bought heaps of weapon packs that helped quite a lot❤

The lodges used to have a big issue with working at all. If you look at the reviews, at least thru Microsoft store about the lodge, it's nothing but bad comments saying how buggy it is, how it doesn't work and so on so this doesn't suprise me

Lady you are the most informational person on this game and just a bonus your tips have even helped me hunt in real life! There was a video on Layton where you talked about calling coyotes. Same applies for real life as soon as they are super close stop calling because they will see you 😂
To transfer from the Xbone to the Series X, I made sure all my game files was on the external drive. I plugged in my external drive to my new Series X, and I resumed right where I had left off without losing anything.
Moving to the other console was no problem. I had my lodges. I lost them when i went back. Glad you’re good!

Good to know. Although I think this should be reported as a bug because it works just fine on PS4. I upgraded the hard drive in my PS4 late last year and backed up my save games to PS Plus online storage. After reinstalling the PS software and CoTW, I re-downloaded my saved data and everything was there. Stinks to know I don't have that option on XBox One (Yes, I love the game so much I have it on both consoles lol).
He has many ps players have this happen to them from the comments I’m getting.

@@timothynorton8658 my friend just plugged in his external hard drive with hunter installed on it and he was fine. I had to completely reinstall hunter and I never lost anything so I don’t know what she is talking about

When I got a new Xbox all I did was put my account on the new Xbox and it already had all my stuff on it, so I didn't lose my lodge. I would have been very upset to since I have a max score plains bison in it.
You still have the mounts you just have to create the lodge again and place them back

Before you change consoles can you just put all of your trophies in your trophy manager before changing consoles so you don't lose them in the lodge?

It happened to me aswell... Lost about 6 1000 scoring animals but the multi mounts got saved and therefore my most important 1000 was saved and it was my plains bison!

I had my lodges wiped twice over the course of playing call of the wild, I would have so many trophies by now

Yes. I lost over 100 diamonds
But you can also upload the data on a storge disk and then connect it to the other xbox

My lodge would be lame anyway. 3 female albinos, a mule deer, Roosevelt elk, and a springbok. I got a gold leucistic plains bison, I have 2 diamonds; a plains bison and a turkey... Turkey was my first diamond. Was still very thrilled about it. No Great Ones. Never seen one yet, I see ppl shoot 2 in the same vid, whether it's the same session or different, it's still much more frequent then what I see
Great Ones are a huge accomplishment. My first took me 7500 kills! And months! They are not easy!
@@LadyLegendXO even my first diamond even tho it was a turkey it was still an accomplishment that I have gotten a diamond. Same for the plains bison, it's decent but I want a diamond animal with antlers because then you can truly see why there a diamond, not just the weight and score. I've stopped playing again, got bored of seeing nothing or getting golds and silvers. Golds are nice for few species but bison, mule deer, black tail, turkey The basic ones you get alot of. I've only got maybe 3 or 4 gold moose. I'd love for a diamond or albino. I gotta ask too because I can't find a number on it. How many different species does The Great One exist in? Ik there is red deer, and I believe the whitetail that's all I know
@@LadyLegendXO and I don't think I'm near 7k kills. I'd say I have like 3500+ if I remember correct, Im whatever the level is when you unlock the moose caller I cant remember it.
I “lost” my Xbox lodge because I moved to pc, made a new cotw account. Didn’t think there was cross progression so figured I had to start from scratch anyway.
I had a Xbox one and I had a pretty decent lodge but when I got my Xbox series s all I had to do was add the account to the Xbox and it saved it
When I got my new Xbox I jus put my account on there and downloaded the game and all my animal were in my lodge still. Sorry that happened to you.

that’s why you never use cloud uploads. just put all your data and games on a SSD and switch consoles when needed.

I got a PS5 new and transferred data from my PS4 to it and never lost a single thing. Play COTW on PS5 and everything is still going smooth. Still got all my lodges and trophies

This happend to me around the same time and i had a max score whitetail, diamond light brown merriams turkey and more but in my stats i still had all my animals. It also reseted all my progress on my maps

hi im your newest member on your fb group yea i would never there's an rpg game that came yrs ago that had something simular my buddy tried this on his cousins console (same thing happend to him) he's like: NO i lost all my points and everything now i gotta start all over again.
Dang this sucks because i might have to get a new Xbox soon because when I go in my trophy lodge, it gets pretty laggy and my Xbox preorder😕

I did the same thing I just didn’t loose everything from my lodges, I also lost the progress from the game so now I started from lvl 1 and it sucks, and I was gonna quit playing the game but i didn’t
I lost everything, but that's because I sold my Xbox and now just play on ps4. I'd had the os4 with thr Xbox one, but I liked my od5 better for screenshots and recording. So, now I just use my ps4. I can't access any screenshots or anything from my Xbox, that's why I wanted to switch.
