- Today we are looking back at an oppressive list that was incredibly successful at the height of bounces popularity - The Kitty Control Lock deck. This deck has decent power output, but if the opponent overcommits to any one lane this can be lethal and locking down and countering their play. Overall the list still feels incredible and can definitely force opponents into tough/unwinnable lines! This will be one of the first decks I'm taking into the infinity conquest.

Watching this video because I got beat by this deck in conquest and it looked fun. Imagine my surprise when I see it was you and I (Doc Coma) made your video. GG.
Just hit Infinite for the first time ever with this deck. Had been lingering around 70-90 for a few seasons, never really able to make the big jump but ever since I found your channel, I've been getting better! Huge thanks to you, really enjoy your educational content on this channel, it has made me more knowledgeable about snap in general.
I din't feel like polaris was doing that well for me so I swapped in killmonger and with that I was really able to make it more consistent and reliable to win games
As I mentioned, last season with this deck I managed to reach lvl 80 and I was stuck, I just don't have Jeff, who I put Luke Cage to avoid HE decks, and it was really worth it!
First game against Doc Coma is a great example on why you shouldnt retreat early, well played
I love this deck so much! Played it to rank 160 last season; definitely my highest win rate deck in recent memory.
The one time I played against you, I was testing this deck out. It ended up becoming my conquest deck last season.
I ran this deck but with Polaris instead of Jeff when you first showcased it. Might have to start playing it again with how consistent it can be. Great video and can’t wait to see mirage gameplay tomorrow
This deck helped me hit infinite for the first after playing for 3 seasons. It refreshing seeing you play it man appreciate your content as always.

Jeff is incredible with how much lockdown we've seen lately. He's rumored to be featured in spotlight caches in early September I believe, but I think with his flexibility he's definitely worth 6k if you can't wait until then!

I haven’t seen so much deck that have both Spidey and Miles so I will try this deck to collect both of them Boosters for my Variants.
I don’t have Jeff yet but I pinned him on store now I think I will use Polaris for awhile until I got him!
I LOOOOVE this deck. Definitely a super strong deck in Conquest and ladder, even after the Kitty nerf.

Just looking at the cards im already liking this deck
I've been playing with a similar deck on and off for two or three months (with small tweaks here and there), and whatever the meta, I have an excellent win rate. I just stop playing it from time to time because it's boring to always play the same deck, but if your goal is to hit infinity, this deck almost guarantees it.
I took enchantress out of this list last season but now she is absolutely coming back in

I always like watching your vid. (eventhough I'm thinking of quiting Snap). I wonder if whoever make that UI for your deck vs your Opponent decks can reverse it so that your deck is at the bottom synching w/ your play field where your cards are at the bottom as well while opponent deck is at the top instead.

on the match against the hawk it was preferable to move the crawler to the professor x lane, that way u would win against his jeff and would have a 5-power jeff to move to the left with tha shang-chi and de miles
Slowly but surely became one of my favorite content creators for the game ! ( Certainly the on I watch the most often ) I grew tired of every other content creator being so dang monotone, smug and just straight up boring. And even though I perfer " emotinal " gameplay , wether thats rage, excitement or passion , I still rather have the content you provide over the forced personality most of these creators have. Anyway keep it up im sure youll keep growing!
@tlsg, if a new player would play marvel snap, what are the advice you could give them with the new system.
I would say early on just play and get a feel for as many cards as possible. I learned so much by challenging myself to build a deck each day when I unlocked a new card that really helped me learn different plays the opponent might be doing.
As far as resources up to 500ish just play and open regularly, but from there save your spotlights until you have enough to get 1-2 key cards your missing.
The easiest for low collections is high evo since you can put together almost a tier 1 deck with just that 1 card and a few p3 cards. I'd recommend doing something that kmbest recommends and that is buying decks not cards (meaning you only use the scarce resources if it completes or nearly completes your ideal deck for that card!)
Last thing is dabble in everything. We get so many passive rewards for completing dailies, playing conqueror, ect. That it is worth exploring those modes even if you don't feel fully equipped for. Mmr goes into effect and helps a lot!
My only complaint is that you often move Jeff on the turn you play Prof X. 3 power isn’t much, but could save a different lane if just X is enough
Sometimes I do it to enable Miles for 1 cost. (I'm sure are times I overlook this though and it was absolutely the reason I lost one of the rounds!)

This has been my most successful deck ever since you posted this as the meta breaker. I run spiderwoman in the Chavez slot for the Angela lane for a surprise factor in the Angela lane.

at 11:20 wont Shang-Chi just pop sunspot when he goes up to 12 because they are forced to soak? that would put you at 11 (post cyclops and angela) to their 6. (or am i missing something in the sequencing?)
Sunspot adds the energy after the turn unfortunately so shang chi would reveal while the sunspot was still 6

Any replacements for Daredevil? Or its a core card. I havent pulled him yet from my pool 3 got like 15 cards left still.
I wouldn't say he's absolutely core here, just really helpful to guarantee your turn 5 play goes in the right direction! You could use luke cage instead is you have him or another value 2 cost!

Still playing The Implication and now also playing Patriot Sauron Silver Surfer. Still trying to find the perfect name for it was calling it SurfLadron (also run Iron Lad) currently have it named 2023America cause its got Patriot and lizard people and Nazis and a pandemic and a couple other things.

not moving nightcrawler to warrior falls in that game gave me some serious anxiety save your tiebreak shang chi by nuking a huge negative he gave you
the card detection program needs an update. should put HE in the enemy deck when you see a "normal card" with powers, also should put the iron lad scan in the deck

I run the same deck with polaris instead of jeff and got infinite last season 🥳

Playing Enchantress over Shang Cho against the Dark Hawk deck was really smart 🤓
In general i think so because the base power is a bit higher bit that last turn 😮
Is there any deck that can counter negative-surfer?
There are several that match into it well.
Hawk decks do a decent job since they add bad negative draws for the opponent.
Decks that want to run Cosmo are amazing against it since it can completely stop the Wong lane.
You could also start running superskrull to help counter the upside they get from iron man! (I know some versions of Thanos control use the Skrull in them)

Anecdotally, I have seen Worldship 3 times in the last week after seeing it 0 times in the last 8 months of playing Marvel Snap. Either RNGsus is playing tricks on us, or the appearance rate of the location has been accidentally increased
Yes! Two times in this run alone is wild! At previous rates that should cover me for like 6 months lol
With a high cost hand it's almost always better to play Kitty on 2 instead of Angela, and then Angela+Kitty on 3. It's only +1 power now, but was more importantly before the nerf. Still imo, a better early line.
I have fought this sort of deck but they have Galactus for Chavez as a hail mary 😂

At 20:39 you should’ve moved night crawler to New York and let Jeff get the stark tower +2 then moved him to the left and you would’ve won. You also could’ve won the world ship game if you played miles instead of daredevil…

what about jean grey?
Jean grey can work pretty well since we typically can fill a lane and the move them later. The only issue/pain point becomes kitty when trying to sm/prof x lock a different lane.
With Jean I actually like going with one of the lists in the pinned comment that uses kraven and silk if you have it!

Shang Chi would have triggered before their sunspot absorbed enough energy to be above 9 since it happens at the end of the turn (They did a fantastic job of dodging the Shang Chi range for sure!

Hey! Are you looking to replace Spider-man And miles or just miles? If you're looking to get rid of just Miles then I'd think you might scrap nightcrawler as well and change it to a Green Goblin + Titania. This could help you block an opponents lane or just get additional space to continue buffing your Angela!

I've covered this one before and I said that in the intro. This deck is so rarely utilized while still countering decks incredibly well that I think it's a great deck to win gold and infinite conquests as they open up.

Polaris in Jeff's spot for this one works almost as well (Drops from about a 63% WR in Gold conquest to 62%) (Both are smaller sample sizes) but overall Jeff's main purpose here is to help reinforce Prof X lane, but the deck doesn't crumble without him.
