At the fire flower, the creator tells you "hey, did you know that you can clip through these platforms", just to then go "actually, that doesn't work with this block, back to CP1 you go" at the axe, followed by "just kidding, here's the right block, gg"

At 7:12...how did he know the spikes were only on the lower side behind the goal post? How did he know it was safe to jump and grab the goal like that? You can't see any of the spikes. So...how'd he know what to do there? I thought he'd have to wait for the ribbon to go up all the way to the top.
I think he took the risk. He saw he died midway in the bar and saw someone die near the bottom, so he made the assumption the psychopath probably made a small opening near the top.
My question is... Why didn't he equip the shellmet, spin jump across and use the shellmet to tank damage and guess it easy? Perhaps he didn't think about it :O
He had to guess whether to jump or walk at the bottom, both things are known to happen. Some creators are even more maniacal and leave a small gap at a random height.

It seems like if you allow people to design their own Mario levels they will make the worst most difficult levels possible…which chokes out the server with levels that no one wants to play… except for the best players
I'd imagine Ryu has MM1 100 Man Mario episodes for the next year and a half stashed away for us, well after the servers shut down...this man is doing God's work!
