Good review! The service light is an emergency light for certain situations like earthquakes, etc. When the general electricity system doesn't work, you can use it to find your way out of the building 🏢😊.
To be honest I’m not sure as it just said ‘not in season’. It was rather chilly up there but if the water was warm it would have been nice! They do have public baths though if you don’t mind getting naked 🤣
Lovely review mate! Definitely looking at booking this hotel for my trip in March, do you know if you're allowed into the public bath in this hotel if you have a few tattoos? Any signage stating otherwise? Cheers!
My default would be to say not allowed purely due to the way that’s the general rule, but I’ll admit I’m really not sure as I’ve not got any tattoos so it wasn’t something I was actively looking for. I know a lot of places can offer some sort of patch but unfortunately I don’t really have any more information sadly! Thanks for watching and commenting! Please subscribe if you can.
I stayed in this hotel in Nov 2023. This hotel chain is good, except for the climate control. Heating and cooling is centrally controlled and CANNOT be changed. Even in winter, I like to have cool air circulating in the room. However, the hotel kept the ACs at "heat" (see 6:52) so all I ever got was warm air blowing on me, or cut off if the temperature was set to one that was lower than the room's. The room got so stuffy that i had to spend my 7 nights with the AC turned off and the window ajar (it only opens slightly, for safety reasons), which in turn let in noise from the street. Unfortunately, because of this, I will only consider booking with this chain if I'm sure the weather is going to be 20°C or higher so that they'll keep the rooms' ACs in "cool" mode. Otherwise, APA hotels are good value for money.
Incredibly informative video! My friends and I are planning a trip and this perfectly answered all questions we had going into it!

Hey man nice video, is the pool only open during certain months?
If so, which ones?

does that window partially open?
It was so cold during the winter I didn’t try it sadly! I’d be confident it would though.

Is this the 118sq ft room?
I’m not sure but it will be the smallest room they have (as I’d have booked the cheapest).
