For me mas hindi ko maintindihan ang OT4. Kasi pag OT4 ka ibig sabihin fan ka nung group pero ayaw mo dun sa isa. OT1 possible naman tlaga yan lalo na may mga solo projects na sila so meron silang mga fans as solo artist.
As a lumang tao, I've seen my fair share of OT1's. But what SB19 taught me was to be discerning because there are people who purposely create these kind of chaos within the fandom. SB19 always addresses issues within our famdom and is not afraid to tell us how they feel about things even if it will hurt us or even if it will make them lose some fans. Because they know, the true ones always stay regardless.

Yes! Agree! True fans will never waver! Even Ken addressed this on their vlog on A’tin A’tin lang. The 5 members are very close to each other. In any fandom though there are fans that will do this OT1. This is not new!

Honestly Toxic fans, they are the reason why nahehate din yung bias nila. Nakakaawa yung artists kapag toxic ang fans. Kaya sana kung alam namang hindi maganda ang sasabihin, keep nalang sana nila yan sa sarili nila.

I think so too. This OT1 phenomenon is truly the MOST TOXIC in ANY fandom anywhere. One reason I've stopped commenting on SB19 is that lately there's just too much heat from all sides- both from inside and outside the fandom, which makes it all the sadder. We can have our faves- preferences are normal- but hating someone because you think it's part of loving another- that's ridiculously petty and stupid. Love isn't like bread- it's not like breaking off one piece of that bread and giving it to someone you like means having smaller pieces for everybody else. It's not easy to be always fair or to love people equally- that's true- but loving someone MORE is not synonymous with hating others or inducing jealousy and rivalry just to show how dedicated and loyal you are to your one true idol or favorite.
ALL FANDOMS have TOXIC fans... that's also true... but I think there's a way to correct- and what the members have done- which is to speak against such toxicity- is the right way to set boundaries.
I just wish others can be just as mature as SB19 on this issue. There are companies that actually encourage and feed the toxicity to attract more attention- but SB19 isn't like that. They know there are BOUNDARIES to be respected- and we need those boundaries to keep the toxicity and the narcissism at a minimum so that they don't end up poisoning the entire community.

Very true. Wala ang isa man sa kanila at ang A”tin kung wala ang SB19. They know each very well ( their strengths, weaknesses, vulnerabilities) more than we do since 5-8 years na silang magkakasama at magkakaibigan. Hindi natin naranasan ang mga hirap & struggles na napagdaanan nila during those years. Kahit anong sabihin ng outside forces for as long as they have each other ( PabloJoshStellKenJustin) & making good music,I will continue to love & support them until the end❤

I love this video so much that I didn't skip any ads to support Chuck. And, it's not just about me gloating that someone already speak up about the toxicity. It's about the heavy feeling we have been carrying that some people out there is ready to ruin and defame the other members just to lift their bias. And, today, that heavy feeling somehow lightened because, finally, finally, finally, may nagcallout na sa kanila, with this intensive edits. Iba wiring ng utak nila. Yung perception nila sa mundo nakakaiyak. I wish they'd listen more to Ken/Felip. If they are true fan, they wouldn't do this to him.
When I watched that podcast, I was glad na nabrought up yun ni Stell. He have set a reminder na although berry ako, I have to commit to love them all. And hindi naman mahirap kilalanin sila at mahalin silang lahat. You cannot dim them coz each of them brings a different kind of light.

Kudos to CC for emphasizing the importance of each member of the group. Regardless of who is their OTs. Let's hope and pray that they stay together no matter what they throw at them and no matter who rise from the P-Pop! Be proud of them making marks in the global music industry!
It is normal for people to have a bias in a group. However, it is wrong to focus only on one and ignore the others. This is unfair because sometimes, OT1 fans want their bias to be the center of attention and disregard the others, which shows negative favoritism towards one individual. So, it is important to approach the entertainment industry as a fan by loving and supporting all members of a group. Let's use SB19 as an example; they are not just one person, but a team that deserves equal recognition and appreciation.❤

Ofcourse normal lang talaga na magka fans sila ng isa lang kilala kasi nga soloist, but ang point ko po dito is yung OT1 na kilala man niya yung buong grupo and they have their own biases pero sa isa lang nag f-focus and ignoring the others, eh kilala nga niya yung grupo.. right? Naiyak ako 😢. Kc silent fan ako since 2021. I love them as a group, yes bias ko si Stell, at nakilala ko sila dahil kay Stell. but i love seing Stell's bond with his brothers and how i wish na forever sila. Kahit sa kanila man lang magkaroon nang forever kahit may kanya kanya na silang career support ko sila but atleast mag release padin sila ng album as a group. Alam mo ung pag nagluto ka ng sinigang tapos may kulang na important ingredients, ganun ang feeling.
This OT1 people are all LAUGHABLE!! All wishful thinking, SO IMMATURE!! The boys appreciate every member and acknowledges the talent each possess that is an integral/ valuable part. This wholistic approach makes SB19 successful!!
Ang bias ko si Stell pero pag may solo performance sila RIP replay lagi like yung nakaraan na performance ni Josh dun sa Filipino festival awards, performance ni Felip sa Predator with Yllona, performance ni Pablo sa predator kasama si Josue, Stell & Pablo dun sa event sa Shopee Awards, Puregold event ni Justin at yung naging game show host sya sa predator, etc. Support all the way ako sa kanila kasi di Naman mabubuo yung SB19 kung wala sila. My npanood ako my ikinasama ng loob c Pablo s isa n inaasahan nya mgcocontribute ng isang composed song dahil kylangan n nila mtapos ang EP. Ang ending hindi ngcontribute bagkos naging solo nung isa. Yes, pagdi sila kumpleto you will really feel that there is lacking like yung performance nila sa predator league. Although they did well and they were able to pull it off kahit may tech problems, the boys still mark that space for stell sa formation nila even dun sa performance nila either ng bazinga/crimzone.

This kind of nonsense is why I am happy to be a fan of various things but will never consider myself part of a "fandom." Fandoms inevitably become toxic, and more so the bigger they get. Every time.

Yup. That's why in the beginning I was hesitant to even call myself A'tin since I noticed the toxicity right away. However, I've found a way to limit what goes on my feed . I don't necessarily see many of the toxic posts. I'm A'tin now starting Pagtatag era. I also decided to support other groups too and not just focus on SB19. It's just healthier.
I will always be an Aurum. But i am half baked in calling myself an A'tin. Wayback 2018, I came across these 5 talented individuals during my most down moment. I came from a very very very bad breakup. And they saved me thru their songs. Pandemic came, i almost lost it since i was working in the frontlines. And yet they saved me again. I have my bias and most favorite, but then again I have not come to a point of saying anything bad against anyone of them nor ill-wishing against a member. The group is like a jigsaw puzzle, one cannot be completed if a piece is missing. Great analogy, eh? Yes! Take one out of them in the picture and there's no SB19. Sadly, not all A'tin thinks the way the Lumang Tao thinks. They made a fab of coining out OT1. Sure, you can have OT1, but do not defame other members just to make your OT1 outshine the other. Because again, these 5 men shines as one. The true clout chasers are those who has OT1s, not the parents nor the boys. And that made the fandom toxic. It is but inevitable not to have any toxic fans but it is getting worse as the boys rises to superstardom. And ig that's the reason why most Aurums go into silence. We are still here, we still exist but we cannot afford to join the bad bandwagon. We do not have a stan account, we do not go by fake names. We stay on what and who we are because that's what the boys taught us.
I just hope they can call out each of their own houses din. As a lumang tao hindi talaga maganda ang nangyayari na ganyan. These are the kind of fans that do their best to break up a group, when one gets his ego boosted enough that he believes that he is the best one in the bunch. I hope that the boys are mature and professional enough to withstand such pressure and not let these toxicity get into their heads. All of them are skilled artists on their own but as a group, they are perfect and beautiful. Without a limb, a body is not perfect and will ultimately crumble. I hope they remain cohesive for a very long time, since a lot of people like me enjoy their music. They are relevant to all people from all generations because they can sing any genre.

This is dope, Chuck! The reality speaks volumes of how this OT1s exists. Even mahalima recognizes its existence but firmed on their stand that these are toxic fans. Supporting SB19 is supporting mahalima. On the contrary, OT1s are toxic enough that they want to uplift their bias AT THE EXPENSE OF THE 4, which was denounced by mahalima in their own podcast.

Have you forgotten that you once were canceled by A'tin? If there are ot1, there are also ot4, those are the ones who attacked Ken which in turn, makes ot1 defend Ken. Then they are labeled toxic. True, there are a handful, only a few, Felip stans who bash the members and that is never acceptable. At the same time, there 😮are also fans from other houses who bash Ken and his fans.
You should research more before delving on a very sensitive topic. There are toxic fans in ea of the houses in the fandom. The toxicity exists in the whole fandom.
Btw, what do you say about those who bash Ken for going solo, saying that he is going to quit the group but gets excited when other members go solo? Again, please research. Not all ot1 are toxic. They just left the fandom or never joined because of the negativity.
Oh, about the Joshue thing, one ot4 posted that thanks to Joshue, Bulan was featured on the Grammy's Global Spin. That ot4 completely disregarded Felip and gave the credit to Joshue. Is that OK with you? Then there was a whole thread of toxicity by a so called A'tin when she disparaged F stans for hyping up, screaming and clapping for Ken only in one of their concerts. That thread said that they shouldn't have attended the concert if they would only cheer for Ken. What a stupid thing to say! Those ppl paid for their tickets! They contributed in the revenue. One of those in the thread also said if she was near those F stans, she would have physically hurt them. And the never ending "utang na loob" nakakaumay na. They completely disregard Felip's talents and contribution to the group when there are so many posts that said nahatak sila ni FELIP that's why they learned of SB19. Some A'tin attacked celebs for openly praising Ken/FELIP. Again, those are only few of why ot1 became ot1 for Felip.
I and many more like me left the fandom because of that. We still support the group, stream their songs and videos, lose sleep to vote for the group but now most of my efforts are centered on Felip as I see, judging from the YT views and comments, he is not getting the same support that the other members get. One admin from A'tin Official Group discourages voting for Felip and disregards Felip in a collab and posted on FB, that could trigger P2 fans against F stans. Then there is nyora senyora (?), a big account from X who posted that she voted for all the nominated SB19 songs and members EXCEPT FOR FELIP. When she was called out for "forgetting voting for Felip, she replied, "...me nalimutan ba ako?" It was intentional. Now tell me that there aren't so called A'tin who are Felip bashers.
So again, next time, make your "reporting" balance, PLEASE!!

I am not a kpop die hard or fan, most knowledge I have are the Blackpinks because of the merchandise in Starbucks but I was taken aback by this group which is all Filipino SB19[soundbreak]..Was first exposed to Stell with The Voice and when I saw Gento, the message, the lyrics, the choreo and how the entire world probably has a reaction or a version of the Gento challenge made me realize, hey what am I missing here? I mean when other countries appreciate and knows the meaning of the song, they must be good (good is an understatement).
So on with my research and found out about their struggles and endurance to breakthrough from typecast to becoming their own PPOP idols and there is nobody else from the Philippines who has done that successfully in that genre at least to my knowledge. I mean billboards chart? And yet, they have a soft spot with MAPA which you all should listen as there are too many foreign reaction videos just by their lyrics and voices and they all moved them, lit!
And yes, they have started managing their own careers at this age? I mean, aren't they enterpreneurs with humongous talent and they keep bringing honor to the Philippines just because they have a dream, they worked hard for it, they didn't allow other people's criticism and typecasts to dampen their spirits.
With all these, am surprised that I became a fan, an A'Tin yes atin to [this is ours]. When we are looking for inspiration and grand success stories, it has been sitting right before our very eyes. Well it helps that Pablo is a brilliant composer, and created most of their songs, that Justin is a fellow Benildean and creative director of their music videos, Josh whose start inspired me to pursue after watching his interview with Dougbrock, Stell who is the main vocalist has an amazing glow up nowadays and Ken whose bass voice is the envy of many. Too many superpowers to highlight and you can find that on wiki and youtube yourself. Be surprised! Be proud! Be shookt!

Hi Chuck, I want to say I really love your narration and creativity in your videos. And my comment is not about you coz I respect your views and thank you for supporting SB19. Anyways, my concern is not the so-called OT1, it is about OT4 or even the anti-SB19. SOME of these OT4 are showing double standards (yung tipong lahat sila nagkakamali, pero yung mali lang nung isa ang pinapalaki at ini-issue) and double crossing anti-SB19, who are disguising as A'tin and make issues between the members. One thing toxic OT1s do is exaggerate the hate their idols receive from the fandom. May mga comment na di naman talaga hate, pero they would consider as one. Minsan kukuha pa yan ng hate comment sa FB, Tiktok, etc then ipopost sa X para makita ng marami pati ng mismong artist, para pakita sa kanya na maraming hate syang nakukuha. They don't really care kung makita yun nung mismong artist kasi nga meron silang goal and narrative, gusto nila patunayan yun para lang ma-feed kadeluluhan nila. All for them and not for the artist. They always say they're "protecting" him but in reality they are just hurting him at imbes na tamang support lang yung iba A'tin na iba ang bias nawawalan ng gana, kasi nga toxic nung ibang fans nya. @@CashualChuck yeah a watched that too. Stell is always on top of everything that’s happening around them. I love these boys not just because of their music. But the special bond they have towards each other. It’s inspiring to see such solid friendship. Many boy bands disbanded because one did a solo project. Where are they now? Very few succeeded going solo as well. Both locally and internationally.

Thank you so much Chuck for this beautiful video. I have my bias in my heart but hindi ko talaga openly na sinasabi, I always say na mahal ko silang 5. Tama it's okay to have our biases, but if mag bash na or sisira-in na ang ibang member ng gropo para lang i-angat or mas magiging positive tingnan or pakinggan ang favorite nila, then that is a different story. Definitely not good. Dapat talaga mag grow up na tayo as fans (as what Stell said). Kasi nakakahiya talaga kung ganyan ang ina-asal natin. In short mga immature talaga. For me, SB19 will always be a five member group (aka MAHALIMA) and I know na silang 5 mismo love each other as brothers forever. ❤❤❤❤❤
Finally, thanks Chuck. Good to call out toxic behaviors din at nang masampal ng katotohanan. almost 5 months palang akong naging A'tin andami ko nang nakikitang mg OT1NS sa comments section, pero mas malala pa pala sa X.

Nagcocomment sila na kesyo kinakawawa idol nila while they are purely hating&commenting below the belt on other members, may comment pa na "wag tayong magpakaipokrito aminin natin na may OT4" kahit wala naman OT1 lang nkikita ko so far, yung idol daw nila is nagpapakatotoo while yung iba daw is hindi porket hindi lang direct sumagot, pero pag may nagpakatotoo naman sa opinion nila or pag pinagsasabihan lang kahit wala namang hate sasabihin na naman nila na "nang hahate " at naiinggit daw, meron pa sinasabi na may silent hate daw sa idols nila while hinihate din nila yung isa, obviously naman na sila yung nagdedelulu kasi wala din silang maiprovide na solid evidence, tiaka meron pa porket may imperfections lang yung isang member dinadown na or inaassume na ang buong katauhan nya, ikinocompare pa nila sa member na iniistan nila.
Seryoso, I cannot believe na pati magulang nila ginaganyan ninyo?! Apaka low quality naman. Parang borderline narcissistic na pag ganyan. Mag mature na tayo, palawakin sana ang pag iisip, think before you click. sana baguhin ang kailangang baguhin, hindi pagpapaka peke yan kundi pag grow bilang isang tao kasi ang pagiisip at ugali nababago tlga yan. kawawa din kayo pag ganyan kayo mag isip in real life! imagine pag ganyan ang ugali nyo pag nagka anak kayo kawawa ang mga bata.
In the end fan lang tayo hindi natin sila pagmamay ari at hindi lahat alam natin sa kanila kaya respeto lang at let us appreciate them/our bias without bringing others down and if you comment opinions dapat constructive lang or healthy discussions. Let us have a healthy mind, marunong tayong matuto.

Thank you Chuck for discussing OT1. It is so disheartening when fans within the fandom cause some rift. Just dont mind them with their negative comments because SB19 brothers love and respect each other, none ever puts another down. Likewise we A'tins should do the same, love and respect should be our code for our MahaLIMA and to each other.

Even Ken said that he loves his Brothers but most of us don't get it why some toxic fans attack his brothers. Do they not love what Ken loves? I mean, just be happy that Ken supports his brothers too. Just love what he loves if you love Ken.

I agree with you Chuck, to have a bias is completely understandable, wag lng i-bash yung iba na hindi nila bias. Although i feel bad whenever people say "OT1" parang fingers are automatically pointed to sisiws. What hurts more is that the hate is now directed towards Ken when he is not nmn to blame kung may solo stans sya. Lahat nmn ng members have OT1 fans.
As a final word, i just want to appeal to OT1 fans to stay kind. Support your bias without bashing others. Let's rid ourselves of any negativity.
Dapat po ang title nito Ken OT1 kasi mukha nya po ang nakakalagay hahaha. Lahat naman ng members my OT1. Kay Ken lang ang content. There's nothing wrong of being an OT1 basta di lang toxic.
