HOLY COW!! pun intended...Thats amazing.
Now my wife wants one😊
Love this! Do you think it would work if you did the glitter with the tack it method!?
Thank you! If used over the tack it method it may run. But you could use a brush to dab the spots on that way.
When you use the clear gloss for sealing it. How do you do it without your ink running?
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS, I already tried this & I ran into an issue or two. When I went to seal mine it started to turn a yellowish/greenish color around my spots so then I did it without sealing & when I went to epoxy it the now brown glitter is all over in my white...
Same!! Idk what I’m doing wrong
& it didn’t turn back after the epoxy
What color Alcohol ink did you use for the spots? Let me know please ty
Have you tried it when using epoxy instead of modpodge?
Could this be done with bombay or india inks?
I am so confused. I did what you said and everything was beautiful! I waited 12 hours after the 2nd coat of glitter but the instant that clearseal hit the Teakwood, the feathered edges turned green. Any suggestions on what went wrong?
My cow spos are running when I put on clear coat. What do I do
Will this work using the epoxy method to add glitter?
I believe it would.
Hey Sandy! Is there another white glitter that you could recommend since Pinnacle is currently out of stock?
That’s my only white at the moment. I will be doing lots of restocks this week! I will make sure that is the first one I do 💜💜
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thank you! I'll keep checking!
I was so excited to try this...was so happy after putting the cow spots on the cup (Teakwood). But, then it started turning green in areas and around the edges, did you ever run into this? So sad :( darn it! Love your tutorial!
Did it turn back to brown? I have that issue from time to time but it always turns back to brown after I epoxy it.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos I started over...I love this technique. Thanks!
I’m trying to make one of these. I’m on my third try. Every time I add epoxy the alcohol ink runs. Any tips? Thank you.
😍 Do you take/do tumbler orders?
Yes I do. Http://www.sandysorganizedchaos.com
Anybody know if I have to use part A and B for the final coat
Yes! Always use both A and B mixed together. Once mixed it makes a chemical reaction to give you your hard epoxy finish. If improperly mixed, or only one side used, it will not cure properly, or at all.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos Thank you
I love this tumbler. You can send it to me if you dont want it lol.
❤️❤️
I tried this and it seemed to bleed when I put my clear coat on. Should I let it sit for 24 hrs?
I’d definitely try that out. I haven’t had this happen to me so I don’t know exactly how to help. I hope that solves your issue 🤗💜💜
When I sprayed mine it “bled” like how it does when you seal a regular alcohol ink cup, turned a little green where it bled
& it didn’t turn back after the epoxy :/
While I haven’t had this problem I know others have as well. Instead of sealing with spray sealer try letting the inks dry over night. I know others have had luck doing it that way. You could even try a different ink color as well. I know how frustrating it can be for something like that to happen. I hope this helps! 💖
Hey Sandy! What's your secret on this? I've attempted it twice and each time I've put the first coat of 2x gloss paint, the ink bleeds so to speak. Am I putting on TOO much of the clear coat spray? That's what I was thinking. HELP!!! Lol
If you accidentally put to much clear spray on it at first it could bleed your ink. The first spray of clear I hold the can back so the tumbler is getting that plume of aerosol when you spray rather than the stronger stream when it first comes out of the can. I let that dry then give it another light coat. Let that dry and one last time I spray it real good to make sure it is all sealed in. I hope this helps!!
Why mod podge instead of epoxy?
Great question! I just like the way the inks flow when using Mod-Podge. If you wanted to do the epoxy method then apply over the raw glitter you absolutely can.
I wonder if this method would work for Leopard print? Next tutorial? 🤔
I believe it would!
Courtneys custom tumbler on UA-cam does a rainbow cheetah print one
I just posted a video of the 2 leopard alcohol ink tumblers I did last wk in Sandy’s vip group. I saw Courtney’s tutorial and had to do it the next morning.
@@janiceterrell86 thank you !!💜
The white glitter looks irredescent is that correct?
The white I used here was semi translucent. It was a 50/50 mix of a pearl and translucent white.
Thank you so much! I originally used an irredescent white and the teakwood showed up slightly green...I just decided to go with a lighter alchol ink and it turned out amazing!! Thank you for the video. Love it!
I just put epoxy on mine and the alcohol inks bled everywhere I thought I sealed it enough 😭
Sometimes I will do two coats of spray sealer just to make sure I didn’t miss any spots. Sorry that happened to you!
Girl I sealed mine and it turned yellowish
The white turned yellow, or the spots? I know the inks will sometimes change in color a bit after a spray sealer is added but will go back to their regular color once dried.
Mine did too, it was around my spots
