So awesome!! Basically I just unboxed it all today and plugged it in, no real sound exploration, but I'm looking forward to dive into it deeper after Christmas. I do enjoy the Rodes, but I've been using them for a few years now as a solo mics, and the sound they capture is getting me bored. I'm soon replacing them with Oktava MK-012s, they have an overall better character.

The Coles are huge! Makes the NT5s feel thin, but they really do work together nicely. Thanks for this demonstration... been considering Coles.
lol this is very similar to a set up im going for!! The NT5s on top and ribbons on bottom. Do u not the like the Rodes? Ur playing is good .
