@@Edgeofdavid yes I think the beach might actually be nicer than da nang. But the downside of quy nhon is very little western amenities (mall, movie theater, restaurant options, ) and a lot less English.
Makes me want to go visit there. I wonder if there are any surf spots there? Funny there was a big tall .. building.. apt building? but no Mall there yet. I'm sure with time.. a mall is coming. Hey, is there a place in Da Nang where you can make your own spring rolls?
@@sanjuanlaunionvlog You know I've heard that actually quy nhon is better for surfing than da nang. And I'm not sure but I have kept my eye open trying to see if they have a similar restaurant like the spring roll place they had in quy nhon.
I think there will be a big mall finished next year in Quy Nhon. If you come to Quy Nhon, pay a visit to ExploraScience Quy Nhon - a science discovery center, the first and only one in Vietnam, not many foreign tourists know about the center 😁
@@waldokool I did not know that. You're the second person that told me about the explorer science Discovery center also. I wish we would have known about it when I was there the first time.
I would say food was a little bit cheaper overall, I didn't notice much difference in rentals or hotels I think those are a little higher or the same as da Nang because there's not many tourists to go there so I guess the prices are kind of high since they know tourists have the money. Overall I would say you still get a much better deal for what you get in Da Nang. I would recommend going to quy nhon to get away from the tourist and the crowds and have a less crowded Beach than da Nang. It's a good getaway spot for a few days or a week if you don't need the Western amenities.
Another good video Will! If it’s not too personal, how do you earn a living to travel throughout Europe and Asia? Good to see you living the good life🤘🙏
@@LunaMiel186 good question. In 2019 when I first started traveling I was teaching English online. Long story short basically the online teaching market is pretty dead now. Luckily last year I went back to the USA and made a little bit of money to save up which I'm basically living off of now. Thankfully Vietnam is extremely cheap to live. I just finally got monetized on UA-cam I'm not making much money from UA-cam but hopefully that changes soon. But I'm also debating about going to China to teach English in person. If my UA-cam channel grows and I could pay my bills by doing UA-cam then obviously I will continue to do that. You always have to have a couple of backup options if things don't go right. Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment I really appreciate it.
I would have to check out both cities of Da Nang and Quy Nhon. As a single guy, I would stand out more in a city like Quy Nhon than Da Nang. Da Nang just already has way too many Gringos fighting for the attention of the local women.
@@Ardilla88 it really depends on where you want to go you lose a lot of Western amenities and miss out a lot in the city of quy nhon due to the city speaking much less English. But there's also another city that I went to not that long ago Hue. Not sure if you seen that video but if you get a chance check out the city of Hue danang. I think you might like it it's definitely worth at least a quick trip there for a couple of days. You should check it out it's on my UA-cam channel.
@@waldokool no we just kind of wandered into the mall which we found out there was a movie theater there. If we would have had more time we possibly would have went to the movies but we did notice there was no air conditioner in there and all the movies were in Vietnamese.

I visited here in 2019. 1 month after arriving in Vietnam. Met a girl, she invited me to a wedding. The beach here is incredible.

Actually 1Km = .62 mile
So 5Km is 3.1 miles like the beach is.

Do you meet up with foreigners in vietnam and show them around in person?
Yes I actually offer that service it's on my UA-cam channel links. Or here's the direct link.

1 km = 5 / 8 mile
I noticed no one else in the restaurant was wearing a hat??
Not sure. 🤔
Bad manners to wear a hat indoors! Only Americans do that!😢
A kilometer is 0.67 of a mile.
1 mile is 1.6km
Yes I know I was distracted when I was recording that part of the video and obviously converted it wrong. 😄
Maybe you came to the cinema early in the evening? That time, people don’t usually come there. Did you watch movie at the cinema?

Inconvenient no airport. Nice place to visit

There is a domestic airport in the province called Phu Cat, but not the international one
