The original "Box and Hand" is the best is different so is the lyrics and I mentioned the feature is as well. Another thing is when this album was being advertised on BET and The Box. The Original beat was used. When the CD was released fans were looking for that beat. I believe it wasn't until around 2002 or 2003 when Ghostface Killah road DJ, J-Love was allowed to play it on his mix tape.
All facts- Me and my friends went crazy hearing that beat on the commercial and then went crazy again trying to find the beat on the cd when it dropped.

On the album this song is credited as “Box In Hand” (featuring Method Man & Streetlife) but this is not the song they originally recorded for the album because it features Method Man & Raekwon instead of Method Man & Streetlife. You can find the original song (featuring Streetlife) on UA-cam. It has a completely different beat and completely different verses. I believe that original version didn’t make the album due to sample clearance issues.
This track is actually called "Wu Will Survive". The original "Box in Hand" didn't clear the sample in time and out of time to change the tracklist they replaced it on the album with this. True story. You can find the remix to "Box in Hand" on a couple Wu mixtape albums, namely Ghostface's Hidden Dartz Special Edition from 2007 or Wallabee Champ can't remember which one, and I believe there was a Clan mixtape that had it. But this is definitely not "Box in Hand", its "Wu Will Survive" that was a misprint. Streaming platforms go off the original packaging so there it is.
Well to be fair on the actual cassette and CD it is labeled as “Box In Hand”. On the album booklet tho, it says featuring Method Man & Street. But you are correct about them not being able to clear the sample so they put this song in its place instead. The original “Box In Hand” can be found on UA-cam under the name “Deadly Dartz”.
When i first heard this song, no lie i had to hit rewind like 10 times. I just couldn't get past how hard this track is. Rae, Ghost and Meth with that crazy ass beat. GOLD.
I just hit play, haven't even got to the reaction yet. I love OB4CL but Ironman got a hair more listens from me. And this might be my favorite song from the album. When that baseline come in on the Method verse then disappears...man cmon, RZA had me strung out fiending for more, enjoy this King, for real!
