Extraordinary patience from these officers. They all deserve a raise for putting up with this woman.
Here’s some context: This takes place in Portland, and her ex is a former cop. She shows up regularly at her ex’s house to supposedly “retrieve stuff,” violating her restraining order, and her husband calls the cops.

The patience of those cops is certainly admirable. I don't think anyone, and most certainly not me, would be able to deal with that much bullcrap being spewed out of that woman's mouth as long those amazing officers.
Speaking from personal experience, she is most likely suffering from an intense manic episode. I’m glad the officers saw that and treated her a bit more accordingly and as you said, with added patience.
That fucking scream though 😐
These Police have the highest EQ.
1. They have realised and identified the best way to least interact with an bully and a troll.
2. They were direct, either go to a mental asylum or get arrested.
3. They didn't react to her insults. No need to get frustrated over trash like Karen's.
As per your item #2: *THE OFFICERS DID NEITHER!* In effect, they "made her a promise," then immediately broke it. VERY inappropriate!
I agree with you but I will point out after becoming more aware of what EQ is, it’s not a real intelligence level. It was made up.

worst thing is that this woman is taking the time from these cops that could be responding to a robbery or something important like that, but i think that screaming at them for not arresting someone that didn't do anything is more important
I live in Portland and work with the police on almost a daily basis. I can tell you that they are extremely patient and understanding. They honestly put up with a lot of shit.
It's because they can't do their jobs because idiots liberals running the city gave all the power to terrorist groups like Antifa. I grew up in portland and loved it but when the homeless started taking over the city I got out.
I hate how so many people give Oregon a bad rap just because one city is terrible. I agree that Portland is really bad but it doesn't mean the entire state is bad
@@insertnamehere5281 I agree in a way I was born in Roseburg and had a great childhood, moved to Eugene and Ashland loved both of those places. The problem is Portland is so fucking shitty it destroys the entire state it's that bad.

she has unleashed her true power...
I’m actually starting to believe this lady was off her meds and drunk. No living being in their right mind would say any of what she said to a cop who under normal circumstances might’ve arrested you from the get go just for making up accusations against a man to the authorities.
She call the cops douchebags gave them the finger, berate them, give the finger to a Greek cop,and you'll have the night of your life...
I think the cops already knew of her and her mental health problems. That's why they are so incredibly patient with her. Therefore I think she doesn't belong under the 'karen' category. It's actually sad to see a person behave this way. She needs help, not an viral video showing how crazy she is.
Wasn’t that basically harassment towards this cops? Gosh I hope the got a rose for that, and that she got arrested. That woman was crazy

Congratulations Portland PD, with these 4 officers, you have raised my opinion of, and restored my faith in, US cops exponentially. *_*applause*_*

Since they knew she was on medication either she told them that prior to the recording or they have had dealings with her before.
As someone with mental illness, who has had psychotic breaks in the past, these cops were awesome. I wish all cops were this empathetic. They're asking very normal questions and acting very normally.
This lady definitely has something going on though. It's almost sad making fun of her. Like beating up a disabled person....
I fully understand that some mentally ill people have breaks like this but even as someone that was called mentally unstable by her own gf and friends (I’m better now because I’m away from my family) I can’t even picture how purely insane you have to be to act like this.
I feel like this was partially illness but also rudeness. I know people are gonna hate me for saying it, but mentally ill people can still be bad people, and what’s happening here is this lady realizing that she can’t get away with everything after being babied her whole life and so she throws a temper tantrum. From what i can hear and see, she has a mental process and is actually taking the time to think about what others are saying and to respond to them for longer than 10 seconds, and I know others may be different but from my experiences I can’t do that when I’m breaking down.
They seriously should have arrested her and taken her to a mental ward at least. Their job is to protect her and others around her and I don’t think them leaving without her in custody was a good idea.
@@cornbreadcoathanger3544
I agree. I'm not sure why you replied with all of this to be honest.... I don't feel I was saying anything opposite of what you're saying here. Maybe I misspoke or it's confusing, I'm not sure. Q
I've had psychotic breaks before where I could barely control my emotional state and many people feel the need to punish you like you're a child. It's extremely damaging and just leads to more issues.
Most of my comment was based around how the cops were treating her though. I think they did very well, even despite the vindicitiveness. I do think she has issues and that she seems like she's generally just kind of a piece of shit. I agree that people can be many things at once, including being a selfish and spiteful individual while still having mental issues. I wasn't trying indicate what she was going through as being a mental break. I was simply saying these cops handled her behavior well, whatever it may be. I also mentioned my psychotic breaks as perspective from someone who has suffered an actual acute mental decline. I feel like many people may want to label what she was doing as some kind of psychotic fit simply because medicine was mentioned. She definitely has some kind of emotional stunting going on and/or she's been able to manipulate and brow-beat others into submission with this behavior before and get her way.
I'm mostly still just genuinely glad that at least some police officers, somewhere, handle issues this way, even if they suspect it's somewhat of a ploy for attention or manipulation. It isn't their job, nor is it ours, to truly diagnose people and then act according to that "diagnosis", and I feel far, far too many people are "experts" in everything and way too quick to jump to their own conclusions on things. Add in the fact that a lot of people these days can't stand being wrong or called out and it just makes such a toxic society to be in when you're not absolutely perfect mentally and physically.
I have manic episodes so I do understand her situation but I think what she might have is some sort of personality disorder, and she's clearly not managing it
Amazing video August congrats on the new channel!!!!❤
If she was a real attorney, imagine having her representing you in court. You would admit to stuff you didn't do just to get away from her.
Nah, she'd be the perfect lawyer. Any time anything didn't go her way, she'd let loose with that banshee scream. The judge would dismiss every case just to get her the fuck out of his courtroom.
I'd take whatever they charge they threw at me, time in a cell has got to be better than listening to her, her BF dodged a massive bullet right there, can only imagine how bad a person you have to be before a trained officer has to get a restraining order on you, yeesh

It sounds like she has been on medications previously and was supposed to be at the time. Unfortunately, even hospitals can't hold a person if they have a legitimate place to leave and go home to and have followed the policies while there, so you have constant in-and-out patients who can (and do) snap in public between stays.

I have recently learned about The Primal Scream. It’s when you’re feeling upset, angry and overall aggressive and you gotta just let that out. I personally believe getting every emotion out is good, there’s no sense in bottling it in. However, screaming at police officers really isn’t an okay thing to do, what is that accomplishing? Like yeah, you’re feeling aggressive and angry but do you really wanna scream at people like you’re being put into a vat of acid? Especially when they have the power to arrest you?
