True mam. And when I see contemporary singers/actors who totally screw up talaffuz of Urdu words, it just cringes me so hard. Recently I watched Qala, and though the movie was good, aesthetically, musically and had strong grip on the direction, but it miserably failed on the 'khe' of 'khwab', 'kheriyat', and 'ghain' of 'gham' etc. I hope atleast artists who are true and serious about their art, should start bothering in this department, too.
@@qazi.s talking about Qala movie okay I guess you missed the part that the lead was shown as H!ndu and didn't know much Urdu because when the mu$lim guy asks kaise ho she says "kheriyat" and then he corrects her pronunciation emphasizing on kha lol
@@singhkhan6580 The lead actress you are talking about, was singing songs written in Urdu that too in Arabic script (written in alif, be, te, se wali script). Also, in my earlier comment I was also referring to the tawayyif woman who was shown recording a Qala's song when she gets the worst panic attack, and starts seeing imagery of snow in the studio. That tawayyif woman, was also saying 'kha' se 'kheriyat'. And Babil also did the same, some of the times. Bro the whole talaffuz thing is totally ignored these days in Indian cinema. I think they should pay heed to it, it heightens their art.
