Im always impressed by people who can pull money from the markets without really knowing how to trade at all or understanding anything about the markets.
OMGod, I tell traders the same.... our brains process information differently. Trade what YOU see, what processes for you and makes sense. I also tell them it's a 50/50 game.... You are going to be right or wrong, no inbetween. GREAT INTERVIEW.

I reckon it's 3x because he isn't looking for a full scale reversal. For example if his sl is 30 pips and he gets stopped out, he might just be aiming for a 3x on 5 pips to make up back that lost. Since it's more probable price is atleast gonna go 5 pips lower after breaking his sl
Quote of the entire interview is when he asked about strategy and he said "They all work and they all don't work." There is a WORLD of wisdom in that comment. It DOESN'T matter WHAT you use. It IS about what works for YOU and the way you think instinctively. I also believe it IS about just spending as much time as possible studying charts and learning the flow..at some point something will naturally stand out and THAT's what you want to gravitate to.

I think I have to deal a lot with FOMO and rushing trades cause I'm to take enough time in the day, in backtesting I make solid percentage but yea psychological
I definitely feel the making good percentages in backtesting but having issues.

Maybe he means he gets bored since he wins frequently. That's my guess
@@Michael-wp5gt No I don't think so. My guess would be that he means that a successful trader can make profits because what they are doing on the whole is correct, but they just self sabotage what they are doing 1% of the time which is enough to screw things up.
I'm not sure though and would like people's input.

In my opinion he mean the better trader you are the cockier you get and you'll make a lot of money buy also have huge losses because of your ego.
I was wondering also, i think he was talking about the journey and the process, the longer you keep trading, the more challenges and difficulties you will face, and ultimately the better you become. :)

Heard something I could relate with so well… win 4 trades and last one blow ma account. I decided that I cannot use mental stop loss as I have so much loss aversion and cannot physically click the stop button to take a loss, I keep hoping the price will turn back on mg favor and u know what bad trades do to guys like us.. hence I will let my mechanical stop do the job for me. Still about to embark on this but I think this will change the game for me…

There are many systems that having a 90% win rate, but it’s all about risk to reward ratio. The most successful traders often don’t have more than 30%-40% winners, but there winners are much bigger than all there losing trades. Look for strategies with only 30% win rate, but still ending up in big profits. People focus way to much on winrate, but high win rates make usally not the most money. 50-60% win rate is for most professionals totally fine.

Trading "mini lots" for a few months is a challenge?. Try doing it for around 13 years!. Never pulled a penny out of forex, but, definitely will. CRAZY, I know. :0)

@@davidprimus4027 I'm very serious. If you understand how to use every indicator inside and out, trading isn't hard at all. I can do it with macd or vwap and MA for swing trading. And for day trading I use other indicators to get the same result

If the quality of your guests is mixed, it kills the credibility of your podcast and you will never get to the level of Better Systems Trader or Chat with Traders.

I would love to believe his story but to become a multi millionaire within just over 2 years from a 1000 dollars account , do you really believe him with your experience Cam ?.
His results doesn’t dictate others.
All it would take is a huge amount of luck and a huge amount of balls. Statistically it is possible but not in the long run. Essentially a 1 in a million chance. All he would need to do is be over risking and get a good winning streak.

Obviously he has an edge but he’s lucky his edge played out in his favour while he must’ve been over leveraged. You don’t turn 1k into millions in 2 years without luck and poor risk management. Not even 1% of profitable traders are capable of that, and the truth is if it wasn’t luck he’d be a billionaire, he could risk 1mil and become a multi billionaire but I can bet my entire family’s assets and cash that he isn’t going to be a billionaire in 2 years.
