After 701 days every kid deserves a snow day. My mom would have let us stay home and play outside. What a beautiful memory and a reason to love your cool mom
I am from Canada, and I have to say: bless your hearts for calling this a snowstorm. It's surprising to think that only a few hours away from our border, they haven't had snow in 2 years and we get a few feet of snow multiple time each winter, often within a few hours.
I rarely comment on any videos, but your superb reporting and consistent production quality have made me watch every single of your video from start to finish. As a new yorker I really appreciate your extensive reporting, which makes me more aware of what is going on with my city and what I can do to make it a better place for me and my family. Keep up the amazing work, Cash!!
I live in Upstate NY but as of recently, what's happening in NYC will happen in alot of major US cities. We're here to educate and prepare ourselves. Thanks Cash for the fabulous content!
Yeah I'm in the same boat. Don't live there and never plan to. I will say up until the subway section when it comes to snow everything New Yorkers deal with is the same in my little town of 10,000 😄
Now, this man does on-the-street weather and meteorological reports. Cash is unlimited in his range for NYC!! I don't even live there, and I am intrigued by each video. Good on you, sir.
The worst thing about snow in NYC is the puddles. Every intersection has 4 puddles where the sidewalk slopes down to meet the street. If you aren't careful, you could end up stepping into a freezing puddle that goes up past your ankles. Happens to me at least once a year
That is why I always carry a pair of extra socks in my bag, many times I step in a puddle and get my feet all wet and have to go thru the day with wet shoes and socks 😢
As always your videos are excellent -- I must also add - your daughters are just adorable. Your wee daughter just stole the show - the confused, befuddled look on her face is priceless. I was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Hudson River Valley. (this was in the mid-to-late-1940s) I moved back in the 1960s to attend grad school. Your videos are educational, very interesting and fun. You tackle the seamy side of the city and do it with confidence and panache. Keep up the brilliant work. And sometimes include all your lovely ladies - enjoy watching the little ones grow. Thank you.
I live in Buffalo and we got a shit ton of snow as usual and we’re currently on a drive ban. I love watching your videos because my girlfriend has family in the city and I’ve got friends from Long Island, and your videos keep me informed about the city and that makes me feel a little bit of comfort to be honest. Keep up the great work, your my favorite current channel😁
Though I no longer live in NYC, I've enjoyed Cash's apartment visits for years. But I'm even more impressed with his doing news-oriented investigations like this one. Maybe he's already been exploring wider markets as a reporter But if not, I really hope he makes arrangement with a national network, covering real estate-oriented news stories all around the country, perhaps for CNN or ABC, for example. His fans would thrill to see him in a national spotlight, where his distinctive edits of speech & video would corral a massive number of new followers. Cash, I'm probably not telling you anything you haven't thought about already, but your time is now. Best of luck, amigo!
I loved seeing your one year old! Hard to believe she's not a baby anymore. She'll learn about snow activity quickly from her older sister! Having lived in Rochester New York for 15 years I was surprised to see no evidence of a "massive storm" but your reporting was entertaining just the same.
Everyone has had their eyes on Buffalo w/ the Bills game LOL Fellow Rochestarian here and yeah, he said snow storm and I was like, huh??? Supposedly 30 inches for Buffalo tonight (1/17-18)
Another cute thing about snow is watching a puppy play in it. I have 5-year-old goldendoodle who is nothing but a big puppy, and he loves playing in the snow. I live on a cul-de-sac where there's very little traffic so occasionally I will let him out front to run around and chase wild bunnies, run in the snow, whatever. You can tell he has a rough life here.
👍 unplowed sidewalks are a serious hazard. Back in the 90’s, I slipped on black sidewalk ice, my ankle snapped on both sides, and my toes were facing behind me 😩 I have screws and a plate on both sides of my ankle to this day. Since then, I’ve always been super cautious. Be safe out there! Thanks for another great video
Cash, the quality and your style of reporting keeps me coming back every time. From real estate to migration to snow storms content is awesome. Keep bringing it!
Your reporting is always amazing. You can take nothing and make it interesting. Don't know how you do it, but you're great. Thanks for another interesting and informative video. Meant to say that your kids are very cute. Love it when a child sees snow for the first time. Thanks.
As someone who'd done lawn care and snow care, you made the guy very happy getting him to do the neighbor. It's essentially easy money. You're not moving, so no gas or other expense, but you just doubled your profits.
I live in Oklahoma City. We got an inch of snow but it was the windchills that caused the state to close the schools. It snowed more North of the City though. The kids went back to school today except 1 elementary school that is without water. They already had our roads salted before the storms went through. Couldn’t imagine being outside on a whim. I went to 2 doctors appointments but the roads were clear. I also drive a Jeep so I am pretty safe. Good to see your family. Everyone stay warm.
Im always amazed how the true New Yorkers won't leave no matter how bad it gets. I left 20 years ago and never looked back unless I need pizza or bagels.
Seeing the girls out in the snow was worth it. The look on the babies face was precious. I can't believe you haven't had snow for 701 days. It wasn't even that much. I think snow anywhere has its unique challenges. I grew up in Chicago. Shoveling the walkways. Many of our rental apartments had building owners who resided in them so they took care of it . I was one of them. But sometimes the shoveling had to wait until you got home from work. Most commerial businesses owned the building so they were there to manage high pedestrian areas. Larger complexes had a super or building management who took care of it. The worst thing would be walking on a sidewalk when traffic came by and splashed sloshy dirty slush on you.
Great reporting Cash and thanks. I once mentioned that perhaps you should get a job at one of the main news channels in NYC but I have changed my mind because your reporting is so great and full of facts that working for a news broadcast channel that you would have parameters to follow and would restrict the facts that you give us here on your UA-cam channel. Therefore keep up the good on this channel as you are a thorough and factual reporter. Way to go Cash!
I live in Texas hill country and raise sheep but for some reason this channel is fascinating to watch. It definitely makes me think twice about complaining about my house when I see the size of NYC apartments
I like the snow and missed it the past two years. I don't live in NYC, but it's always nice to see it, inside, when you're hunkered down with hot beverages...just look at it. I live in NJ and we're supposed to get more tomorrow, Friday. Your kids are adorable!
OMGosh, your baby isn't a baby anymore! Already a year old! She's adorable! I just love watching children grown and discover things for the first time.
Cash, I remember snow storms and ice storms from the 70's there are few states that still have storms like the ones I experienced. Unless they're calling for a 3' dumping of snow, anything else to me is just a nuisance.
LOL , I do remembered my childhood's 1970s snow ice storm days that had started climate change crisis cry of 1970s' Ice Age 2 is a coming all over news and money scheming scammers milking US citizens with fear mongering for decietful money grabbing thievery. It has not change decades later with climate change scammers who has been proven wrong so far awhile they are still fear mongering people to still thievery their own money out of their pockets within their climate change scams. 😂
Cash- That was - once again- excellent coverage. Your videos just keep getting better. I tell everyone how knowledgeable and professional your channel is. Thank you Cash. Keep going!👏👏👏👏👏
Attn New York, just stay inside until that VERY dangerous 1mm of slush has melted. Maybe just stay indoors until spring to be safe. Love from your friends in Montreal.
Growing up in my region of Italy snow was very uncommon. But when we came to the USA I fell in love with the winter (of course I was a kid) we went to school as long as it was a foot of snow or under. Now I live in a warmer climate again but remember that time well. Good times…
Thanks for sharing Atlantic Center, Atlantic Ave, Boerum Hill! It's fun to see you there. Also, really sweet to see your family. Imagine seeing snow for the first time! One small thing.. might have pointed out there's a reason for “tactile paving” if people don't know. Apple should clear that whole sidewalk! The trick to NY and snow is time. Unless it's serious accumulation, a day is often enough to render well traveled sidewalks pretty passable.
I grew up in South Florida, so snow is a novelty for me. I do remember getting 18” in NYC while visiting one year. The city pretty much shut down, but we built snowmen and had an epic snowfall fight in Central Park. I often get tired of the heat in Miami, but I don’t know how I’d handle the snow. I love it when I visit though.
Hello from Alaska.... this is cute. Sooo much hassle for you folks. We live for months buried in feet of snow, driving ,work and play are all completely possible. It's sad to see how a very little amount of precipitation make such a massive city suffer.
yeah... he went by a van i have in this... cannot even see my tail lights as the snow is that high 😅, and the one here on video is in a small slush puddle
Another well-crafted video, Cash! Learned a lot about snow management in NYC. Suddenly realized a major advantage to living in a neighborhood of apartment blocks is the sidewalks are always cleared by building staff, so never have to worry about ice and snow. Almost makes up for not having an outdoor space...
It works when there is in house staff. When a snow removal company is hired they never get to your property on time. They have hundreds of property to manage.
I’ve been watching you for over a couple of years now. I saw your trip to Japan; your old office, so many places. I even remember when you went in to buy a new parka. I however don’t comment here very often. I just want to tell you that you are enjoyable to watch and listen to, and keep up the good!
Great video Cash. Love all of them. Found you so not losing you. Am an ex NYker so fun watching you go thru apts all over the city. Keep up the good work
Welcome to winter in NYC. Good advice regarding hiring a contractor for snow removal. I wish more people would use calcium chloride rather than sodium chloride (salt) Because it less damaging to the environment and to the metal parts of vehicles.
The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?
Goodness, has it been a year already. I remember when you announced she was born. I didn't realize new york hasn't had snow in 2 yrs .its something i certainly don't miss here in florida 😊
I love your videos Cash! Maybe because I am originally from the northeast (NJ). I’m now living in the southeast (SC). I’m addicted to your channel and wait eagerly for the next video to be available. Snow is bad and I have to say I’m not a fan. Your daughters are adorable! My kids were the same way seeing snow for the first time.
the whole thing about each building being responsible for cleaning its little portion of the sidewalk is absolutely insane to me. this should be the city's responsibility for real. when i lived in Helsinki, there was snow on a daily basis for long stretches of time in the winter and big snow plows would ride down the streets and sidewalks and even inside courtyards every night to prepare for the next day when people would get up to start driving and walking. the thing woke me up every night when it went by my bedroom window, but it was so necessary.
Cash Jordan videos are well done, engaging, interesting, and informative. Highly recommend his content to show the true side of living in nyc, good and bad. He's a total pro. Our city has a similar rule that the sidewalks need to be cleared by the homeowner or business. Not the 4 feet rule. Like there, many don't abide by it. It would be quite annoying on that large of a scale.
I'm in Arkansas and we are expecting a winter ice storm later today through half of tomorrow with possible power outages for days. I wish we got your snow! We just had 2 days of snow with up to 6 inches in places and below freezing temps now.
That's crazy, where I'm at in Tennessee we just got 8 inches of snow, something we only get like once a decade, and NYC just got a tiny bit of snow for the first time in almost 2 years. We got some snow last year as well when NYC didn't.
Thanks for sharing another informative and entertaining post. You're my goto guy for NYC news. I always say that no matter how much you think you like winter, NYC winter will last one more month than you can take. 😂
I'm on the west coast of Canada, (Victoria, BC) we got snow last night that looks just like yours. Not much, slushy. It can be slippery. The city has been building bike lanes like crazy this past year, and I've been wondering about how they'll get cleared. I'm going outside shortly to clear & salt my sidewalk. Funny how east coast and west coast are so similar right now.😊
I really miss NYC snow storms, I lived there for 8 years from Australia and now I never see snow, because I’m back home 😢 My friend and I, used to meet in Central Park the morning after the first snow fall for the season, with our dogs, because they had so much fun bouncing around in the snow. I remember working at the vet clinic on the west side, and I lived on the east side. There were no buses due to the massive snow blizzard that came overnight, and I had to walk through snow up to my knees through Central Park to get to work, because everyone else lived too far away and couldn’t get in, and there were animals at the clinic that needed feeding and medicating. It was an experience I will never forget, people were literally skiing by me in Central Park 😮😂 later in the day, more staff arrived as the city cleared the snow, and they told me how dangerous it was to walk through Central Park, because the snow on the trees could cause the limbs to fall. I didn’t even think of that, being Australian and rarely ever seeing snow. The amount of people that I saw fall on black ice and snow, was insane, I picked up many people from the ground, myself included. I never knew that dogs had to wear shoes because the salt people put on the sidewalk to make the snow melt, would get caught in between their toes and would sting! So the dogs with shoes that you see, is not because their feet are cold or to protect them from the snow…it’s because of the salt!
I'm from Dublin, Ireland. In my parents generation it was the responsibility of the council to look after the mundane factors we only really appreciate when they aren't done. Bin collections, weed removal, path and road maintenance and pedestrian safety. For the most part this worked quite well except for the usual danger of industrial action and union disputes i.e. strikes. In more recent years though they have passed on the responsibility of some of this to homeowners. It's now the responsibility of the homeowner to grit the pathways and even local roads (in residential estates not main roads). Councils are now more focused on nonsense policies around diversity hiring policies and the green agenda. So they won't remove weeds due to herbicide bans so bicycle paths end up overgrown with weeds with concrete cracks on the way and paths are more dangerous to walk on. On top of that the general efficiency of council activity is much lower.
In Adelaide the councils still do their duties, though they hire out a lot of them. The worst is the prices keep going up and up. No two years together are the homeowners rates the same.
Your videos are amazing and helps me feel connected to the Immigration issues, and many other issues starting in NY & spreading to the rest of the country. Thank you Cash!!!!
Measurably = Massive!!! I lived in NYC through MANY “Snow Storms” over 12” when you could barely find the sidewalk … the streets … and it was like … So What!? It was a Regular Work Day.
Cash!m Great energy today and thanks for giving us a peep of your children, too! New Jacket - so now we have orange, grey and black...gotta get you an army green, one, too. Loved your sneakers, too. Today was one of those days, you could do no wrong.
Lovely to see your kids again 😊 January in New York looks pretty hard-going! It's summer here in Australia. There won't be snow until June, and the ski fields are at least several hours away from where most ppl live.
That "storm" was nothing. I can't believe they delayed school time today because of the cold. I walked to school during a snow storm in '88. I'm still hoping we get an actual snow storm this winter. NYC hasn't had a major snow storm in years. The small amount of snow we got yesterday morning DID make the city look pretty tho.
Yes it’s freezing everywhere. New York City looks pretty in winter. I love the slow just not driving in it. Thanks for sharing love ur videos Jordan 😂😂😂😂
After 701 days every kid deserves a snow day. My mom would have let us stay home and play outside. What a beautiful memory and a reason to love your cool mom
You two daughters are adorable! Growing so fast! Nothing like seeing snow for the first time on a little ones face! ❤️💕
I am from Canada, and I have to say: bless your hearts for calling this a snowstorm. It's surprising to think that only a few hours away from our border, they haven't had snow in 2 years and we get a few feet of snow multiple time each winter, often within a few hours.

but whenever you do, we get a 7.3 earthquake
Thanks for all the informative information about NYC my old home,😊, I only miss the food 🍱 there and will definitely not move back there 😢
Poor quality of life 😮,overpriced for no reason whatsoever
Same here
Well, I hope you are out clearing snow off the pathways...
I don’t even know why I watch every one of Cash’s videos. I don’t live in New York and I have no intention of moving to New York yet here I am 😂😂😂.
Same! Cash is bringing awareness of what's going on in NY and I'm here for it!
I live in Upstate NY but as of recently, what's happening in NYC will happen in alot of major US cities. We're here to educate and prepare ourselves. Thanks Cash for the fabulous content!
Yeah I'm in the same boat. Don't live there and never plan to. I will say up until the subway section when it comes to snow everything New Yorkers deal with is the same in my little town of 10,000 😄
Lol you're his target audience. People who are scared of NYC and want to confirm their viewpoints of it
I'm in North Carolina and I would never go to NYC. But I enjoy Cash's videos!
I love it when Cash is a (roving reporter) covering all angles of the story. Seeing the one year old at a stand still priceless 😊
Now, this man does on-the-street weather and meteorological reports. Cash is unlimited in his range for NYC!! I don't even live there, and I am intrigued by each video. Good on you, sir.
Pictures of your family, priceless. Thank you for sharing.
The look on both their faces was worth it 💜

Now ice
Yep, up here on the Wash. Hts/Inwood border it was just enough to make the dog not want to go out.
Exactly I live in Brooklyn.

Right on Riverside BlackRock girl here. I use to work a week a month in the bronx so I feel as if I live there part time.
Though I no longer live in NYC, I've enjoyed Cash's apartment visits for years. But I'm even more impressed with his doing news-oriented investigations like this one. I don't want him to go to a network.... Reason he's producing such good reports is because he's completely independent.
He's a racist grifter, he might go on CNN because of that but thats about it
The baby is walking!!!! Thanks for sharing clips of your girls...all of them❤
storm was small stop buggin
Different states lil bro

People like this have no lifes 🤣☠️

Awh, your family is so beautiful ❤ The girls are getting so big, and Mama looks great too ❤ Another great video 🎉
Hi Cash. Another great video. So glad to see the girls. Yes seeing things through a child's response is the best. Happy family is good.
Another cute thing about snow is watching a puppy play in it. I have 5-year-old goldendoodle who is nothing but a big puppy, and he loves playing in the snow. Thanks for keeping it real, Cash! Your daughters are so adorable! Ur 1-year old looks as if she has been transported to a whole new world!
The little one is walking, congratulations on your beautiful family Cash!
Love the snow. I miss the days when there was a lot of snow in the City. Especially during holidays.

Same injury here I am terrified of ice now.
Yikes i also have screws and a plate on both sides if my ankle. Broke it back in 2013.

Your reporting is always amazing. You can take nothing and make it interesting. Don't know how you do it, but you're great. Thanks for another interesting and informative video. Meant to say that your kids are very cute. Love it when a child sees snow for the first time. Thanks.
Great video! Seeing young ones experiencing snow is a true joy!
The info you provide is very educational. I follow you to learn about what's really happening in NYC
The look on Eliza‘s face is priceless!❤️
It's a slippery mess and when the temperature really drops it's a commuting nightmare. Thanks for the video!
As someone who'd done lawn care and snow care, you made the guy very happy getting him to do the neighbor. It's essentially easy money. You're not moving, so no gas or other expense, but you just doubled your profits.

I live in Winnipeg MB Canada. This is minor compared to our winter. Thanks for the chuckles with my morning coffee and tree !
Love your videos. I wish there was a person for every state that just about did what you do
Just gotta find them
Nick Johnson has done a lot of videos in many different states, check him out!
There's thousands

Your daughters are adorable!! Any bad weather in NYC is not a good thing!!!
Lifetime New Yorker here- we just expected it and somehow always managed to overcome!!
Thanks Cash for what you do and take care out there ☃️❣️
I live in Texas hill country and raise sheep but for some reason this channel is fascinating to watch. It definitely makes me think twice about complaining about my house when I see the size of NYC apartments
How wonderful to see your family again. Miss Violet sure has grown and your baby (sorry I have forgotten her name) is now walking. Stay safe & warm.
Eliza ❤

When he said "snow sucks" I felt that in my heart 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao
I love snow but I’ll admit I fell twice because of this snow so I guess I understand lol

Yeah 96 was crazy! I was jumping out of my second story window into the snow drifts 😂😂
Beautiful family. Stay warm💙
As a 73 year old native, if you think that was a storm, you’re a wimp. Sorry Cash, still love you.
back in my day we swam through the snow

Yes especially January 1996
Cash- That was - once again- excellent coverage. Your videos just keep getting better. I tell everyone how knowledgeable and professional your channel is. Thank you Cash.
Keep going!👏👏👏👏👏
Oh please
Hi @CashJordan and family! A fellow Brooklynite! New York can be messy after the snow. ❄️ Thank you for the video!😊
Attn New York, just stay inside until that VERY dangerous 1mm of slush has melted. Maybe just stay indoors until spring to be safe. Love from your friends in Montreal.
Same thing happens here when we get our first snow in November, people forget how to drive and we end up with a lot of fender benders.
Growing up in my region of Italy snow was very uncommon. But when we came to the USA I fell in love with the winter (of course I was a kid) we went to school as long as it was a foot of snow or under. Now I live in a warmer climate again but remember that time well. Good times…

You are so good at reporting! Your personality just fits. Continued Growth of your channel in 2024.⛄️
Be careful out there Cash, stay safe.
Every video I watch makes me wonder more and more why people want to live in NYC.
"Massive Storm Just Hit NYC" Northern Michigan in the Lake Effect zone just entered the chat, "That's dusting."
yeah... he went by a van i have in this... cannot even see my tail lights as the snow is that high 😅, and the one here on video is in a small slush puddle
Thanks!
Thanks!!!
Never stop making these, I watch them all!
Great video Cash. Love all of them. Found you so not losing you. Am an ex NYker so fun watching you go thru apts all over the city. Keep up the good work
Welcome to winter in NYC.
Good advice regarding hiring a contractor for snow removal.
I wish more people would use calcium chloride rather than sodium chloride (salt) Because it less damaging to the environment
and to the metal parts of vehicles.
I really enjoy your videos! You are so enthusiastic about your subject! Stay just the way you are!
Get ice cleats to put on your shoes. It is a necessity for NY winters.
I am enjoying the snowstorm that is not a snowstorm you are reporting. Even the weather you make it so interesting. Way to go Cash!
Dang dude, one of the most underrated journalists 💯.. plus..... your footwear is always on point. Keep it up my guy🤙🏾🫡
the whole thing about each building being responsible for cleaning its little portion of the sidewalk is absolutely insane to me. this should be the city's responsibility for real. when i lived in Helsinki, there was snow on a daily basis for long stretches of time in the winter and big snow plows would ride down the streets and sidewalks and even inside courtyards every night to prepare for the next day when people would get up to start driving and walking. the thing woke me up every night when it went by my bedroom window, but it was so necessary.
That was in Helsinki, Not NYC.
@@chocolatecaramel4447yea, I was thinking the same. NYC just slightly larger
Pretty much every city in the US has it so the building/home owners are responsible to clear off their sidewalk.
YES! You nailed it. Snow looks pretty but it is a massive pain in the bazooka!!🤣🤣🤣
I'm from Buffalo, the fact this is being called a storm is cute - you guys are babies.
I'm in Arkansas and we are expecting a winter ice storm later today through half of tomorrow with possible power outages for days. I wish we got your snow! We just had 2 days of snow with up to 6 inches in places and below freezing temps now.
So more snow in AK than in NY?
@@Kolach0 It looks that way yes. We have an ice storm coming tomorrow with estimated power loss.
Beautiful mixed family you have…thank you for all the updated news you provide of what’s happening in the city 😊they are very helpful.
Well, that's DEI for you. Plus HR, plus... (the list goes on)
Always love your videos!! Good storm reporting!
700+ days without a snow storm? Send them to Buffalo, they'll learn what snow is real quick.
Frfr it’s been brutal here
True! 🤣🤣
Ayyyeee😅 i live in Buffalo. It is cold as a monkeys uncle. Schools are closed. The snow is coming down fast

Oh yeah! Upstate NY -- Buffalo, Rochester
Syracuse get a lot of snow. Utica and
Albany both get more snow than NYC.
@@here_we_go_again2571 yeah upstate, WNY in the house 🥶 go Bills
Watching from Germany. Love your shows. Your kids are so adorable!!!!!
Your videos are amazing and helps me feel connected to the Immigration issues, and many other issues starting in NY & spreading to the rest of the country. Thank you Cash!!!!
Measurably = Massive!!!
I lived in NYC through MANY “Snow Storms” over 12” when you could barely find the sidewalk … the streets … and it was like … So What!?
It was a Regular Work Day.
Woke up, saw snow & was depressed
Had to go out & shovel
Good thing it was just a small layer of light snow
There was no MASSIVE STORM! 🤣 😆 🙏 🙄 🤦♂
as a native new yorker residing in new jersey i appreciate & love watching your videos. keep up the amazing work!
I hope the migrants stay warm and safe in their 4 star hotels.
Cash!m Great energy today and thanks for giving us a peep of your children, too! New Jacket - so now we have orange, grey and black...gotta get you an army green, one, too. Loved your sneakers, too. Today was one of those days, you could do no wrong.
I was just watching a live from buffalo NY …. tons of snow ❄️
Even in the 90s we had to walk in a snow storm, these kids are lucky. 😂
Yes it’s freezing everywhere. New York City looks pretty in winter. I love the slow just not driving in it. Thanks for sharing love ur videos Jordan 😂😂😂😂
