I love the clear tall neck jars, I have a pink one I keep venegar in it. That I mix with peroxide to soak my feet in every night. Same amount half each in warm water. My feet thank me. This is one of my self care moments.💖💖💖
Good idea for the TEACHERS out there, who help the little ones make mommy/daddy gifts! I did that for many many years… kiddos would love to help make these for their parents ♥️🎄🙏🏼
@@vashtivalentino6913 I guess my wording wasn’t as clear as I meant… My apologies but I meant I helped kids make parent gifts, many-many times over my teaching years and that this would be a great gift for that purpose. However, I know most Dollar Tree stores do carry cute small glass bottles. So do Hobby Lobby & Michael’s. Hope this helps! 😊
I used to make bath salts. They were made from epson salt. Bath salts are epson salt and scents. They are pretty in jars. Love rose gold! Thanks for sharing! God Bless ❤
Cookie mix idea is genius! You just reminded me of something my dad would talk about his family friend doing. He would buy a XL jar of pickles, unevenly slice them, and transfer them and the juice to a new jar, and give them to people like it was his own recipe...
I made this for MOTHER'S DAY GIFTS!! THE MOM'S that recieved this, LOVED IT!!! I added the ROSE PETAL SOAP along with a face mask in a cute basket!! It was a HIT!
Great for Brownie and Girl Scout Leaders. They spend a lot of time preparing each weeks lesson. Sunday school teaches also. Thanks Kathryn. Your the best.❤❤❤❤
Good idea but next time use some kind of starch and some polysorbate 80 to make sure the essential pil are dispersing and won't just float on the water...however its a very good idea. ❤❤❤
PSA to anyone wanting to make the bath salt: make sure you use a skin-safe essential oil and also use something like polysorbate 20! this is to prevent the oil just sitting on top of the water and making direct contact with skin, potentially causing irritation.
I would not open cookie mix only to add it to a jar and have to copy the direction. Better to leave it sealed in it's own pkg then the person can reference the ingred and the nutrition facts as needed as well as directions...plus they won't be wondering about the freshness or contamination of their food. I got a cookie mix tucked in an oven mitt once. They tied it with a ribbon and worked in a wooden spoon, you could do cookie cutter, tea towel, whisk...All these can be bought at different discount stores. No muss no fuss. Five bucks or so and all usable items. Those tags and ribbons add up and hike up the orice of your gift so if you want to save the money for a lot of these then dont tack on a bunch of bibbety bobs. When i got my gift like this i was a houskeeper at a nursing home and she had made a lot of these for all the staff.
You should be able to fine them at a hobby store. I go to my flower shops around my town. Some sell batches of fresh rose petals. I dry then out in sea salt for a few days. Some flower shop will give them away.
My issue is. I don't know anyone who would actually use any of these. I've received bath salt and can't use them. I don't have a tub. Lol another issue i have. Doller tree sells the bath salts in jar and walmart and target. $2 to 5 bucks for a big jar.
You can soak just your feet in them using a shallow bucket or a laundry pan that you have lying around the house or even a dishpan that you buy at dollar tree. My mom likes to sit outside in the summer soaking just her feet, lol.
I made the cookies. They werent very good. Youd be better off gifting a cookie mix you make yourself. Lots of good ideas for mason jar layered cookie mixes.
and also make sure to get polysorbate 20 to help the oil integrate with the water, otherwise it will just sit on top since oil and water don't mix, and directly touch skin which can potentially cause irritation!
The cookie mix would be cute with a cookie cutter attached
Good idea! ❤❤❤

And the best part... A hand written note.
Great ideas! Does that teeny tiny jar hold enough bath salts to make a fragrant, muscle relaxing bath though?
Love it!
Love your ideas
Love both ideas. ❤
This is awesome! Thanks Katherine ❤
Love it! Thanks so much. ❤ 😊
I’ve made gift baskets for my mom and my church friends with stuff from the dollar tree. They loved it.🥰
I like both😂
Where are the jars from? Especially that narrow neck one?? Beautiful 😻the bottleneck jar I meant. I saw a colored one in the beginning of the video
Dollar Tree
@@checat001 thank you
@doitonadime Where did you get the rose petals and dried sage?
You should be able to fine them at a hobby store. I go to my flower shops around my town. Some sell batches of fresh rose petals. I dry then out in sea salt for a few days. Some flower shop will give them away.
Where do you get thedrided Roses from... I can't use any oil is there anything else I could use please
Having fun
Nice😅

Cute
😂I love this but now I know why there’s not epsom salt around dollar tree where I’m at it so wiped out 😅
Please make the cookies!!!!❤
I made the cookies. They werent very good. Youd be better off gifting a cookie mix you make yourself. Lots of good ideas for mason jar layered cookie mixes.
Even better, get the jars second hand from the thrift store!
Great ideas but the rose petals make your bathtub really hard to clean. Just FYI and thank you so much for your fabulous tips.
Yep…they almost stain your tub, they get soggy and leave you with a mess
What about the drainage? I'm worried about it clogging the drain.
Oh I hate cleaning the little bits left behind after the bath. I would rather have just the scented salts
An idea for your gifts
😮😮😮😮😊
Be careful using salt when making this. I was gifted a soak with salt in it, and I felt like my skin was on fire.
It’s epsom salt…that isn’t a normal behavior I’d say you’re allergic to it or at least to the scented ones
Make sure uour essential oils are rated as safe for skin. Not all essential oils are skin safe and can cause severe reactions
and also make sure to get polysorbate 20 to help the oil integrate with the water, otherwise it will just sit on top since oil and water don't mix, and directly touch skin which can potentially cause irritation!
How is that tiny bath salt bottle even enough for one bath?! Don’t think so
It definitely is
They look expensive
Sorry hard pass on bath salts, soaps or anything like that! Too many things for sensitive skin, allergies and asthma!
why don't you just bake them something!
Haha this ain't new
