As a parent of 2 sons I cannot fathom these absent selfish parents just carrying on with their own lives not giving a second thought to the children they brought into the world.
Certainly something I can never understand either. However, there are parents out there that once they separate for whatever reason, one parent will do anything and everything to prevent the other parent having a meaningful or any kind of relationship with the children of the relationship. I know a couple whose relationship ended and the mother did everything possible to keep the children from seeing their father. Now twenty two years after the divorce, one daughter is getting married but does not want her father to walk her down the isle. The youngest son does not want a relationship with his father either all the while the father has done everything possible to try to build relationships with each of his three children.
You are so accurate, my sons did see their father occasionally but he never contributed a penny or gave them emotional support or unconditional love . I stayed silent and encouraged a relashionship with him . Now they are grown men who are amazing , stable and fantastic sons . They are in charge of their feelings for him, not me . They almost certainly remember but have forgiven him for the emptiness whilst growing up . I am a very proud mother .

It often goes well at first....but it gets harder to build a lasting relationship when the parents don't take any personal responsibility and only offer confusing lame excuses. In the end, a lot of the time you lose them all over again.😢
Thankfully I was raised with my siblings by 2 loving parents, but I have seen the pain and heartache not knowing your parents can do to your life. I pray for my friend that one day she will hear something of her mother, she knows her father has passed away.
When my mothernpassed, my father told me that before they met my mother was an unmarried mother to a son. He had been adopted out when they married. It was a different world in 1940's.I found out about my brother.on the Friday and from not even knowing he existed to meeting him 3 days later. Unfortunately he didn't want to stay in contact but that was ok. I wish things had been different but my mum's rejection hurt him deeply
Beautiful…repent for your wrongdoing, Dad and start a new journey..better journey with your son and his( now yours) family. We all make mistakes, especially in our youth, we must forgive our child self and learn from those mistakes! God bless! 🙏❤️
My father has at least two daughters he never met. We found out about them when he went to jail. They are better off never knowing anything about him. If they grew up with horrible parents, it will just make it worse and if they grew up with lovely parents it may destroy them.
I have no idea who my father's family is. He was not willing to talk about his circumstances in detail for me to put in a timeline. I know a few stories. All I know now is that he was born in Austin, TX and lived in Plainview, TX. THEN he changed his last name when he married my mother, at least that's what I think. No one ever talked about it. I know why he picked the name, but did he do it legally? Did my parents register their marriage in 1959? I need help finding more information, and not many family members are alive anymore. I love my parents and respected them beyond belief. To know more about them is what I and my brothers could really use to feel closer to them. Thanks.
When your parents separate when you are young, at least you could still see them a few times maybe every fortnight. This, having been abandoned is more, profoundly painful.
Another tear jerker episode. I hope its not making me feel quilty after listening to this heartbreaking story of disappearing mother or father knowing I grew up married n have kids with both bio parents sacrificing their life for us to be happy❤😢😢

Mary Ann is the spitting image of her Auntie 🥰
Sadly the happy ending isn't always the case.
Alans mother seems like a real piece of work.
Oh gosh the last one broke my heart……
Beautiful…repent for your wrongdoing, Dad and start a new journey..better journey with your son and his( now yours) family.
We all make mistakes, especially in our youth, we must forgive our child self and learn from those mistakes!
God bless! 🙏❤️
Great to see the happy reunions ... Sad to see all the 'Partner' live-in situations ...
Heartwarming!❤
Oh my heart, beautiful beginnings
Brenda is a sweetheart. I feel like she may have arrested development though. I think she is very young in the mind
Mary anne looks like her grandmother
Feels good to know they are getting on. 🤧
So touching I can’t stop my tears ❤
Life will and must change . Time for families to unite ❤
Allen mother is so sweet
I’m quite surprised they come to meet him. This show is awesome. Poor Alana, mom was permiscuous. She’s changed I believe.
I'm glad these people got to find their family keep moving forward with them now ✌️
He wrote letters for a month and gave up.
Marianne looks like her grandmother. Good stories!
Yes!!! And her aunties!
Thanks.
As a woman who couldn't have children through a tumour, it angers me that these people take years to find their children.
I do cry while watching,im from philippines♥️♥️♥️
Love this UA-cam channel 😊
When your parents separate when you are young, at least you could still see them a few times maybe every fortnight. This, having been abandoned is more, profoundly painful.
Another tear jerker episode. I hope its not making me feel quilty after listening to this heartbreaking story of disappearing mother or father knowing I grew up married n have kids with both bio parents sacrificing their life for us to be happy❤😢😢

As a mother who lost her child at 16 years old (my profile pic), I cant imagine having a child and not searching to the ends of the earth to find them. My heart aches every day for my son, and I cant see them again until I enter the gates of Heaven. If you have a child, FIGHT FOR THEM!
I’m trying to find my sister! I’m from the UK she is from Germany. She’s called Elaine and she’s 43.
I hope and pray that you find her. ♥️
@@susie2366 Thank you 🙏🏻
Oh Clo, I can’t imagine how you feel. It’s had to have been so difficult for you. I know everyone probably says this, but I truly hope and pray that you find her. I have 2 beautiful sisters that I am so proud of. We’re unfortunately not close but I wish we were. It’s such an important part of our lives. Siblings are the best and I want you to have the “sister bond” you’re in search of💖
@@stephanieann1213 Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ Cherish your sisters send them a message and ask to meet up! One day hopefully I’ll find mine 👯♀️
If you try genetic testing you might find relatives who could help you.
I enjoy these shows. 🎉🎉
God has a plan 💕🦋💕🦋
I just don't understand how these men can walk out of their children's lives and forget about them. It's unreal he went to his father's grave to talk to him about the son he abandoned. So dude had his father in his life, smh!
I think Mary Anne’s father battles addiction
6:10 Oh goodness me..i thought i heard the dads name was Jack Many Heros Brooking.
