    One safety improvement suggestion. Have the gates open (push/pull) the opposite way. Eg Pedestrian in the 'shared' zone to only then have to 'push' the gate open to gain access to safe walkway. Its one step safer if they have to press that 'red' button to remove themselves from the line of fire when a forklift is approching, and the gates lock.

      It is a good suggestion! It depends on the distance of the walkaway for using the gates in the opposite way. If we have enough distance, it's a good idea. Thanks!
