2003 my first Phish show ever my first exposure I had been exposed and it had gone full circle in my soul and I did not even know it wow then 2005 Red Rocks Trey Anastasio I got up close and personal and saw him with his guitar and I was hooked and I mean hooked the sound everything about Trey and his guitar I was hook hooked after 2005-2006 happened and that's when Trey crossed the yellow line on the highway and almost hit a State Trooper yeah his experience with the law and came out with a clean slate and a very clean God and energy after that of course fish was disbanded and 2007/2008 super good tab years then 2009 Red Rocks reunion tour I was there and I was the only person backstage except for for other people and that was the band seven walkers including Billy kreutzmann does anybody out there know who Billy kreutzmann is because he was the bro that brought me to my first backstage Phish experience ever oh did I mention Billy kreutzmann and Michael Gordon are really good friends and all their children played together so that should put down all the rumors from the gdf family that all they do is talk s*** and the dead The Grateful Dead put all those rumors to rest when Trey played for the 50th and when Bob Weir comes to play in Nashville with Phish that was an awesome show by the way really cool the truth is is I have never seen anyone play guitar quite the way that trade us there are all kinds of really good guitar players Derek Trucks Eric Clapton Jimi Hendrix but I honestly believe that Trey Anastasio is more talented and more versatile and far more critiqued then Eric and Jimi Hendrix put together Eric is good really good but red brought it's far past where Eric never went and then he took it even farther and kept going and got better and more stylistic and it's just so awesome
Well they did say a new LB is on the way. Also this video had been on their Vimeo channel since June last year. Sadly, I'll only be at the DCU shows. Spac if I'm lucky.
sweet lot jesus, this is my favorite steam. was at this show. i need them back at mpp badly. i'm a straight woman, but who's the smoke show at 4:36? so pretty!
Hey Patches, your comments amused me. I respect you haiting on "Steam" but must say, you should open your mind and ears to what Phish is doing 2011 - 2012 because it is certainly among the community considered their best years in 13 years. And if you haven't listen to the DICKS shows 8/31, 9/1 and 9/2.....2012, then get on it. Will change your perpective........and add that list 8/15/12. SCI are....well....a nice alternative when Phish isn't touring.
pffft...Phish used to be and probably still is my favorite band primarily based on their mid to late 90's stuff. This song, "Steam," is just typical wanna-be trippy boredom; the new unexposed generation crap...post - post - post - post hiatus. String Cheese Incident, however, seems not to have lost anything through their years and "hiatuses." They seem to be more explosive than ever. Listen to Jellyfish 10/29/2010.
