If I could afford any of them, I'd buy DS 4 over the German trio in a heart beat... seen live, the level of elegance, build quality and refinement is astonishing! and the fact that it doesn't pretend to be a "Nürburgring racer" (like Cupra or some others) and is rather focused onto dynamic, but comfort oriented driving is simply refreshingly welcome in the premium segment...
Looks amazing, better than the German rivals, and has the performance that will put off those who drive German rivals. Excellent. I don't want those that drive German to change and wreck another brand. With recent Peugeot group build improvements (my 2008 is outstanding) this looks like maybe being my next choice. Allez!
Hello to you Mrs. Jackson, I wanted to thank you for your lovely, professional presentation of this magnificent DS4 :-). And above all, it is truly wonderful, an auditory melody to hear you speak
Nice, cheerful review. Would it be wrong to surmise that this car would be ideal for elderly or retired people who like comfortable cars and have no need for sporty fun? 😄
At the price point of this car it’s missing a few key features, heated seats are optional extras, adaptive cruise control is an optional extra it doesn’t come with auto hold at all.
you mean, unlike at German premium... though it was a while ago, but when I bought my last A4 (B8) almost everything but "the air in the tires" was optional... now I have last gen P508SW... it has all things you speak of as standard, except for the auto hold (it does have hill hold though and I find it adequate), so I really doubt you have to spec them from option's list in DS
All due respect, Please reconsider your decision to buy this car... I bought the 2023 model and have been dealing with its absurdities for a year. While driving, all the screens go out, I can't turn off the air conditioning, I can't see my speed, and I can't disable lane assist or the start-stop function. In short, I can't perform any actions that are controlled through the screens.
Who in their right mind would be buying a hybrid, let alone a traditional petrol or diesel now? It would be like plumping for a Betamax in 1985! Just go fully electric - it’s really not that hard to buy/lease or run, the economy and running costs are so superior. If you want a quiet car.
1.2 is a 3-cylinder motor. Both 1.6s and the PHEV are 4-cylinder motors. Audi sells A3 with very poor 1.0 R3 and no one is questioning it. Think before you type :)
They really tried, but it still is not as spectacular or desirable as our reviewer. ( Another great review by Rebecca). If it was, they would sell a ton of them. 🤔🧐👍🥳🤗
Rebecca went from being absolutely impossible to listen to and ridiculous, to being a better articulated reviewer. The emphasis she was putting on her sentences in her previous channels were horrendous, but now she sounds like a normal person. Previously, it was absolutely unnatural and it was a shame that nobody advised her on that. This time around, it's different and that is good, because she looks like good folk. Good stuff from producers and herself! Also, please stop with all this "sporty" nonsense. Cars that are not stone-suspensioned-"sporty" are immediately considered bad and bashed around. Honestly, more drivers want comfort and does not (or can) send it over in the bends. This is ridiculous British car reviewing which focuses on "sporty" feeling on ALL cars, like testing DS4 is sort of a one-off from all the Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Alpines we normally drive. People own normal cars and fewer roads are butter smooth, so you can ask for a firm suspension, because you feel like Michael Schumacher. Keep it up and most importantly - keep it real and natural. Good review.
No thanks Rebecca not a fan of this, in my opinion, ugly body work or the interior. There are those that will disagree of course I expect that but on a personal note, too big and too costly and not for me.
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. One the best looking Premium Hatchbacks and I particularly like the luxury Interior
Glad you enjoyed it!

I drove that today morning. Engine seems fresh and pushing for extra power. Overall the experience was nice.
Comfort is underrated, also the build quality and perceived quality is so much nicer than awful Mk8 Golf
Sublime car. Just sublime. Very premium. The way it looks.... sensational , elegant design.

It's a stunning car. I really wanted the phev but sadly the discounts aren't big enough!
A relaxing drive shouldn't be a demerit. Not all cars need to handle like sports cars.

Makes everything else on the road look outdated and pre-historic. I'd love to own one.
I think everyone should start off in a relaxing car.
You should get nearly 45mpg with the the 1.2 petrol if you are light footed.
Hiya, this car is so cool.
Nice car from France
Just bought the hybrid and its awesome and better than my F-pace

She was driving without her blue coat on, yet when she stopped to get out, she was wearing it.
They do separate shots, not continuous filming.
@@fly.into.theblue Really, i didn't realise that !!

#cargurusuk Why not compare it to a Mazda cx-30. Feels like it is this car's direct competitor
i see a phew of them in my home countrey of france
Wow No Elec seats only as an option . You've lost a sale with me that's for sure.
Didn't one of these on autotrader only do 29mpg once the battery was flat.
Great as a second hand low mileage buy.
🍷🍷

¿A luxury car with the same 3-cylinder motor of any Stellantis generalist?... I don't see if more money is worth.

@@TheKejmul Audi is questioned by that. Ask before you afirm.

0:11 - EWW! DON'T COPY WHAT BMW IS DOING RIGHT NOW, CITROEN!
Nowhere near as good looking as a Xantia , my choice.
Xantia is a choice for chads only. Still the best hydraulic suspension till this da with the Xantia Activia version.

that grotesque opinion of yours..... "ugly body work" ??? You have brain issues.
Too big?
🤣
Looks really cheap. Big heavy interior with appalling touch screens. Daytime running lights make the front of the car look heavy and fat too.
