Yes, getting from bronze to master is easy, but from master to grandmaster is difficult, where grandmaster is at Mytich level, epic to mythic only takes less than 50 games in MLBB, while master to grandmaster takes 81 matches in HOK (maybe skill issue)

The best thing about HoK right now is the Tank role, I don't get melted down and it is fun.
As a roam main in ML I really appreciate HoK because there are a lot of unique support and tank heroes
The defense items is super strong in HOK like LOL in MLBB its kinda decent not too strong and not to weak.
Seconded that, being a roamer in HoK even as soloq is much easier than MLBB. On top of the roamers being borderline OP even by MLBB standards (Dolia's skillset is just bonkers, Zhang Fei is old Mino on crack, Yaria has 10s CD Angela's ult that stays PERMANENT until the shield is depleted ), the roaming item is also a huge help as 1st item thanks to both its selections of aura AND active skills
Tanks on HoK are so good that instead being mostly junglers they are exp/clash Laners so there's more strategy around a team focused with both tank and supports
well the main reasons why it's hard to rank up in ml is the players🤣 epic to legend 1 can be hell maybe even in M 20-40 stars there's only decent players in glory😂 but in gold to master in hok, players wasn't really problem sometimes, it's just really depends on your gameplay that's why i start to love hok now.
Reason being is that I don't see much HoK players stealing other roles from other players. 95% of the time they stick to the rol given to them, hence giving a better team comp. You get teammates that steal roles up to mythic in ML 💀.

In ML , when you pick your preferred role there is always one or more in your team that will steal ur role, and sometimes ban your pre- selected hero. It's so annoying

Nahh, I'm stuck in diamond. I'm not familiar with most of the heroes so I cannot plan how I am going to counter them. Also, things got harder in diamond (Like I met many feeders). I guess ML and HOK matchmaking arent so different. The only thing making hok better (so far) is no one needs to fight for the same role. Since it's predetermined.
I would say ML is a bit harder. Although the skills is not as op like HOK the depth in gameplay is not as low as this new HOK player claim. If you are truly been to MG or IMMO in ML carrying a match in this game is a breeze as solo. Of course the chance is higher if you are THE jungle.

Got to master in season 1 (or 0?) during brazil release and got to master now after global release. I'm purely playing supports, sometimes roamer tanks. Tho it gets harder from then on
The thing i like about ml is the acouncemnt thingy which says those doubble kill or maniac and stuff because it actually sounds cheerful and like they are congratulating you unlike like other mobas where they sound like they just woke up
Yeah, announcer in ML is energetic. Especially in MCL.
Yeah that's one of the things that always puts me off in other moba games.
And in DOTA1 the announcer is also energetic.

In hok the announcer sounded very happy when one of ur team dies. Lol
Sounds are just awesome in MLBB. Not to mention, the UI and skill indicators are all great and look polished. I maybe would have tried the game a bit longer had it not had bad UI elements.
Graphics are subjective to everyone, but I didn't like it that much.

Spam Jungle role, it's easier. Try to find a good hero that has mid to late dmg potential, fast jg clear skills, a lot of dashes and super late game hero. Just be discipline on jungling and try to join any fights happen in the map since YOU are the play maker.

GrandMaster (Star 0-25) = Mythical
Mythic (Star 25-50) = Mythical Honor
Epic (Star 50-100) = Mythical Glory

Well, because you have just reached master rank, which is equivalent to Legend rank in MLBB. Maybe it's easy because you get a team that understands how to play, and the enemy still plays gameplay that doesn't disturb your jungler. I also used the hero Guiguzi to reach grandmaster, but at grandmaster I started having difficulty using that hero against a unique meta enemy that I didn't understand yet.
4:24 no, they are not the same. In Hok, the master rank is the same as the legend rank in ML
There haven't been many changes to HOK's Global Version. They haven't even added all the HOK heroes yet. What you see is just the tip of the iceberg. Although HOK's Global Version looks good, the Original Version is not so lucky. Not only is it unbalanced, but some people even started to find the matchmaking system's vulnerabilities. I have a friend who is a HOK player, and he said it was ridiculous that they gave all the heroes adjustments at once. This is not the end, some heroes' revamps are not even satisfactory, but become worse.
In summary, they are moving towards internationalization.
The thing HoK follow is "if every hero is unbalanced then the game is balance" and its ridiculous if we play 1v9 in bad team

Now that's how games should be, enjoying it, not stressing about it. just quit mlbb months ago and used that time to walk or eat outside. and i've been happier and have skin glowing since then. really took a huge stress off my life.

I usually encounter a few players that really like to play Sun or Ying. Rarely i saw Lam or good jungler heroes being used.
And here i am getting a lot of good heroes and more decent heroes because of freebie frenzy. They're actually helpful on giving you what heroes you like or need. I got luara today aswell.

I think its easy to rank up because of star protections and tier-up rank protection which where you cant lose star if youre gonna get to a new rank unlike ml that doesnt give a f whether its your last match to mythic or not, you lose you start over again.
And the best part is getting protection during rank increases

Guiguzi is an good support people still havent learn to pick purify in this game.
Plus in ML youre playing with players who are already have years of experience so it makes it harder
In HoK barely anyone knows any counter heroes. And most just follows the recommended items instead of itemizing to the opponents comp.
So if youre good player in ML then its easy for you to rank up in HoK if you have a better understanding of the game.
Ikr, it only took me 6 days to get to master. But probably less than that because I didn't really play that much and I missed some days. I stopped playing when I reached master cuz I got bored of it

personally i feel that its a luck when it comes to teammate. I am a mythic glory as a support & mid, with the support I gave to my team eg create space to take objective giving them the vision they need to zone the enemy, they are still mindlessly walking to danger and dying. Its literally impossible for them to even win teamfight. With the objective only open to the enemy which makes the game 10x harder to carry as a support.

I played about 85 matches from gold 5 into master 5, and im support tank user. I think play as support in HOK more easier than ML. Because tank in hok hard to melted, and sometimes u have chinese teammates = you win 😂

Every match before master is still considered easy, i only lost 1 time from bronze to diamond. And that only because 2 Player in my team went afk.
I love HOK's role mechanic, not much a fan of the high ping though. Playing for 2 days, currently Diamond IV.
The ranking system of both games:
HoK | MLBB
Silver - Warrior
Gold - Master
Platinum - Grandmaster
Diamond - Epic
Master - Legend
Grandmaster - Mythic
its because the toxicity level of mlbb is much higher than HOK(bcuz hok global is just new release)
HOK was really good when you kill jungler you can take there buff that's a good feature marksman was suck mage was too overpowered and figther was too tanky you don't need a tank only take support buff character that's enough for finished your rank but there was not been a players low rank that's why you can rank really fast mlbb it's so hard too reach mythic that you will crush your phone some time because teammate was really bad and toxic even if you get MVP there saying that your fault we lose if this was HOK i don't know some players don't chat some players talking several language i don't understand that's why i quite HOK 3 years ago but really good that global launch not using VPN now play without care without network issue

To reach in mythic glory in ml is easy we r facing tuff bcox of noobs player in solo q who take ur role and just ready to feed but in HOK its different everyone ll play as there selected role soo no toxicity just focus on ur role 👀 and ez push

Ml and HoK has same difficulty. What makes HoK feel easier is the lane pre selection and players sticking to their assigned lanes. In ml, every player is fighting for either gold or jglr, no one wants to exp or roam. I have dodged so many matches with 3 MM or 3 Jglrs + retri 🤷♂️
This is the problem with ML players.
A MAJORITY OF THEM DO NOT WANT TO PLAY ROAM. ESPECIALLY ROAM.
I used tank before entering high ranks. Even i, myself, started to be consumed by their habit.
Better matchmaking, no toxicity and more rank protection helps. Also Master in HoK is equivalent to Legend in MLBB. Grandmaster is their Mythic.
Playing Mythic in ML was more easier than HOK I'm stuck in Diamond it's really hard to get a win.
What I like about HOK the most is that they ACTUALLY PUNISHED the feeder, troller in ranked games! And they won't get away with it unlike ML, where the system dgaf even the teammate is trolling 0/12/3

Well for now hok does feel easy... I played it for a month when it got released in my country back in February, tbh the game was fun until i reached to point of not even finding match on any of the modes..
well, to be fair diamond is like the epic tier of hok and master is the legend tier. gm is the equivalent of mythic
HoK really better matchmaking. I was played ML in 3 days but I stuck in Epic 1. When I only need 1 victory to reach Legend and then Dark system come to me. I spend 3 days in Epic 1. I'm mad and tired. I playing HoK in 5 days and then I'm in Diamond 2 now.

For me so far both HOK and ML are the same both are easy to rank up as long as you don't get trolled also in HOK the role really helps and I'm always glad that I can join 5 man easily, right now I have a squad which helps me rank up 4 Indonesian then me hahahahah.
I am stuck in HoK because the matchmaking is so bad. I always get MVP loss (literally always, I'm not even exaggerating). They don't do objectives, they diverge from their respective lanes, and the fighters that I always match up with feed themselves early on, severaly ruining our late game potential.
Edit: I forgot to mention how shit their map awareness are.
The Laning pacing is the problem in this game, shit can go fast or really fast which is annoying if you are the jg. And true about the objectives.
You probably got matched with new players. If you see a Rayne or Lu Bu or even Lian Po, they might still be new to the game.
So endure it as much as possible. sometimes Lian Po or lu bu players are actually good.
the report system here is quite harsh you can try these out in a moment

Kaizer, Dun, and Ata are good beginer friendly tanky jungle

Because the matchmaking is more fair in HOK.
Unlike in MLBB, you gotta feed the loopholes by intentionally having a bronze or silver record whether win or lose you will be given a good team mate. But having a continuous MVP is gonna give you bad team mates cause moontoon will think that youre gonna carry them

It depends on your luck and location, mlbb is harder nowadays always got overly weak teammates and very hard opponents, while in hok I can play on my main role that's why hok is more balanced in solo rank

Grandmaster = Mythic , GM 25(Mythic) = Honor , GM 50(Epic) = Glory, and GM 100(Legend) = Immortal.
Honor of kings is easy to rank up because there is a permanent role if you are mid lane no toxic what ever will steal your role but in mlbb 2 people mage or 3 sometimes trolls no adjust

Platinum is like a Master rank in ML and probably, you fight againts bot. You'll fight a real people when you reach Diamond and above.

In hok platinum = grandmaster
Diamond = epic
Master = legend
Grandmaster = mytic
Mythic in ML is where most players are (4th highest rank)
while in HoK it's Platinum (6th highest rank)
Moontoon with rank inflation to fool everyone they're good, before Mythic is only reserved for top 100+ players 😅

Well, it can be true because of two reasons. Firstly, it is because of server differences. Brazil server players are mostly suck. Second, ml has a lot of toxic players. For example, they don't know what the trend is or how to use the items probably. I met most of the players in legend who played one shot jungler but buying default build when enemies abused sky piercer. I told to buy them but they don't know what they meant and they said enemy damage cheating. OMG

In my opinion mobile legends is starting to get boring, and more confusing, the thrill is not there anymore.
I've been a player since Grade 11 and now I'm graduating from a 6th year course, I've been playing MLBB consequently over the past year (except I uninstall it if exam week).
The reason why I'm saying the game is now broken because of the addition of the new Items which are very op ang make the game lose its thrill (like come on, who likes the thrill surviving at a 1hp bar after being attacked by a core, now its impossible due to the new item)
Heroes that are op and need consequently need balancing for over the year (until now they cant fix these hero)
The animation improved but not enough compared to other moba games
The lag, switching from wifi to data, vice versa didn't improve the lag
The toxicity of players, like feeding (sorry if this opinion might get misogynistic, but some female and kid players play in ranks with very few hero pool, and even practice in rank. After you help or educate the player in game, they get angry and starting feeding the enemies.(Very TOXIC)
Laning and matchmaking, they still didn't fix this, players always fight steal other roles, even though its pre selected.
Money grab. Still the skin prices are overpriced with bare minimum animation effects (although i can see the improvements, but still with my almost 8 years of playing this game not that much improved). I've been noticing mlbb starts to give free skins due to the HOK competition, but this won't help (I'm still playing mlbb just to get the free skin)
I've been playing HOK for over a week now and the game really pushes team play. The preselection of roles then only showing the hero pool on that designated lane really helps because it makes the player stick to that lane and role.
For a week. I have 15 skins (3 epic) which the animation are superb. In HOK you can kill their core (unlike MLBB, when the core is overfed for the first 5 mins, you already loose hope to win the game), their core actually relies on team fights. Although some heroes in HOK are OP, but there are some ways to counter them and TEAM PLAY is a must.
I'm a mid lane player in MLBB but in HOK i shifted to Roam, and being a roam in MLBB is really hard. In HOK its very easy because the tanks and support are actually tanky. KIU is probably my favorite roam right now (skills are similar to Franco in MLBB, and I don't play franco in MLBB, so its ironic 😂). In HOK the variety and skill sets are unique, so its very fun to try all the heroes.
