    I do agree that we need a return on some of the older non-evergreen keywords but also seeing mini/the 8/8 version in later expansions as well, in some maybe niche minions that could be playable. Another one would be dredge, I miss all of Voyage's keywords.

      I think Corrupt & Infuse were some of the most interesting designs they did, because it rewarded you playing off curve with Corrupt, or Infuse playing for the board.

      There shouldn't be such a thing as "evergreen" keyword to begin with. If something is keyworded then this effect will be called that way every time it appears (and older cards should be errated to have them).

      I liked the invoke keyword. I know it was galakron specific but seeing the mechanic returned with either a new galakron or just doing it in a different way

      @@shrekkek9396 I completely agree I'm just saying that not having these "evergreen" keywords come back is cool like if Colossal came back or if spellburst came back on a few cards in later expansions that it would be nice.

    Voyage with its Dredge and Colossal cards for me is the most recent *high* point of HS. Such a well-designed and themed expansion imo.
    Would love for these cards (especially Colossals) to come back.

      Colossal was really fun and I loved all the animations but Dredge is such a good mechanic because it feels really nice to find the card you need at the bottom and pull it up, knowing you'd be dead if you'd never Dredged. It's like the antithesis of feelsbad stuff like Illucia and Theotar and I hope we see it again

      I miss Dredge far, far more than Colossal.

      Dredge is my second fav keyword after tradeable crazy what a godtier year they had in terms of keyword with those expansions

    Its not quite a keyword, but I would like to see primes return. It was just a cool way to add powerful cards to a deck without making them sacepitible to being cheated out early and just stealing games.

    I'm surprised no one has brought up Manathirst as a keyword. It was so poorly used in MOTLK, aside from the Paladin and DH cards, and it's such a simple keyword to take advantage of. For example, having decent low cost cards that can gain some benefit of top-decking them later on, or something like Anubisath that has high stats and a downside, but removes the downsides if it's manathristed, just to name a few
    Edit: Warrior had pretty good Manathirst cards too.

    Forge is basically an improved Corrupt so I would think that corrupt would be redundant. Trying to go and corrupt the clown was almost impossible outside of Priest which is why forge is much more reliable across classes.

    I think Dredge was an awesome keyword. It had so many cool interactions with your deck and think it was sick.

    They should stop limiting their design space by making keywords "expansion exclusive" and use them whenever they want to.
    And the keyword I want to see more is Invoke, I want a Death Knight Galakrond for Wild and more support for the existing ones.

    I think adapt is better than bonus effects because of the attack and health bonuses

    Likely alone on this one, but I really wish they'd revisit Inspire. I doubt it would work in modern hearthstone because we are actively discouraged from hero powering these days, but I thought Inspire had so much potential if they weren't so afraid of it back then. They intentionally made Inspire cards weaker because they thought the mechanic would be too strong with repeatable effects, but the mechanic can do well if supported correctly. I've always liked messing with hero powers and thought they should have done more with them. Not start of game effects like Genn and Baku but giving us reasons to use the hero power or buffing the hero power like with Justicar.

      They did try that in Descent of Dragons in Hunter. Remember Phase Stalker? Or Dragonbane?

      @@robertlupa8273 Yeah, and those were fun cards that proved Inspire could work. Unfortunately, like with hero power mage, its very isolated examples when they mess with it again instead of utilizing Inspire as a keyword and trying to push more generalized hero power synergy

    cards that have at the beginning of the game do x when x
    it makes game a diffrent expirence
    It would be nice to see hero cards and legendary weapons not necessarily for every class, but at least for a few

    Dredge is a great mechanic because it just adds some deck consistency without creating any brokenness

    They should reuse any mechanics deemed good with proper keywords. If magic can reuse keywords 20 years after the last installment and actually print proper keywords on new cards (and errata old cards to have new key words) while being a paper game, then hs having pop ups on every thing will be good with that.

    I gotta say, colossal and titan are two of my favorite mechanics in the games history. And I would love for them to stay in the core set

    Colossal is a must return. I think that Prime minions should return as well, maybe expanding it to weapons or spells. Spellburst would be so cool to return. And Frenzy too, maybe this one is a little strange, but the ideia is pretty nice.

    Titan Old Gods would be sick, maybe just introduce an "Old God" keyword that also gives the card three abilities

    Its not a keyword but I want to see a DK quest bcs its the only class without one and hopefully go straight to wild

    Yeah, I would like to see twinspell, spellburst and colossal minions come back. And maybe dredge. Cool keybword that helps with drawing the cards you really need at the moment.

    I know mindbreaker exists but once he’s dead that’s all you get for disabling hero powers including your own. There may be similar cards I haven’t seen but something revolving around that to nerf quests slightly for a slower warrior to be relevant

    I actually disagree with literally every one of these picks.
    Spellburst wasn't particularly interesting. It was just "Battlecry with extra steps" for the most part (There were some cool exceptions like Headmaster Kel'thuzad and Glacial Racer that had some interesting effects based on what spell you used to activate them)
    Colossals, while cool, are part of this whole stupid design that revolves around Reno style removals because playing 1 minion and summoning an entire board is so silly.
    Twinspell always felt like too much value for spells, especially with the rampant "Created By" options, where discovering a Twinspell card gives so much value that just never really felt necessary when spells were SUPPOSED to be limited compared to minions to promote using minions for lasting board presence with spells being low value but instant responses.
    Echo honestly always felt bad. The concept was interesting, where you could pay additional mana to get more out of them but in reality it was often that the cards felt awful UNLESS you spent a bunch of mana repeating them.
    Finally, Forge. Forge feels bad. Most of the time it's not interesting it's simply "Your card sucks unless you spend 2 mana making it not suck" it's not "Optional" it's the card is just bad unless you do it. With the payoff of Ignis being one of the most dumb and unfun cards to ever exist thanks to the stupidity of Windfury options.

    Its weird that the powr creep got so extreme that most of the colossus are un playable in wild.

    The way shuffle cards (plagues, bombs, etc) disrupt dredge I would like to see reworked to where if you selected the card, you still get that card. Dredge was cool

    I agree on all these, maybe not twinspell as heavily but it’s not a bad candidate for sure.
    I think the only dampener on forge is the Warrior cards both being insane, and Ignis getting windfury, but he’s not even a forge card.
    As for Titans, it was an interesting experiment but the minion type has too many flaws and niche rules to keep around. I think what priest does with Aman’thul is abhorrent. You can’t generate Titans in any way… except you can copy them to hell and back. The nerf to Shattered Reflections just shows that the minion type was not entirely thought through, and putting the “Non-Titan” clause on a card is pretty poor design on at least one end (imo it’s Titans as a card type). Colossals are just superior design in pretty much every way.

    If Tradeable became an evergreen keyword, so should Dredge. Dredge is fundamentally important for HS as it decreases the bad draw RNG.

    Now that we're not cavemen and we have the technology to display more than 1 token, each appendage of the potential new colossals can do a different thing.

    Genn and baku won't make much of a difference in the meta they may see play at first but will quickly drop off hero powers just generally suck and is not what you want to be doing on your turn unless you have nothing else

    Colossal was cool, but I don't want to see it return right now. I'd like to see them try inspire again but maybe rework the mechanic to not be awful lol

    I would honestly love it if they used all the keywords that exist now and update old cards with them in a thematic way that makes sense
    Like, it would be pretty cool if they turned Shu'ma, a pretty terrible card from Descent of Dragons into a Colossal

      Shu'ma already summons Tentacles at the of your turn, so being a Colossal would make a difference only if your opponent summoned it for you during their turn so you would still summon 6 Tentacles.

      *Every time a Tentacle of Shu'ma dies while this is alive on the board, resummon it with +1/+1 and a random bonus effect*
      They can get creative with it!

    I just want an actual slay mechanic instead of overkill and honorable kill nonsense, but given the current pace of the game it would only ever work on rush minions anyways...

    1 word....Illucia Illucia Illucia ! :3(her 3 mana version that swap hands).....also want this---> Start of Game: cards in both player hands are upside down,, if players have an odd amount of cards in hand they can only play their left most card, if its an even amount then right most cards only, , every 5 turn summons balloons to fill the screen and play circus music for 15 seconds XD

    you want colossals back???? Theyre Dr Boom as a mechanic. Idk what Zeddy's smoking lol. "no one complained". Me and every single person I talked to raged at those cards every game. "you never feel bad putting it in a deck." YEAH. You HAD to run your colossal in every deck until they rotated. Very few of them even had synergy with other cards, so you were trolling if you didn't run your class's colossal. That's the worst card design: legendary cards with 0 needed synergy that don't create decks that you're forced to run in every deck. The fun of HS for me is building decks and experimenting and having cards like colossals, hero cards, and titans do nothing but make the game more expensive to play, limit deck variety and reduce the amount of cards you can have in a deck.

    I think most of the keywords in hearthstone were well designed at the very least, even if they ended up being niche or underpowered. That makes it funny, and sad, how Showdown in the Badlands managed to bring not 1, but 2 really badly designed keywords. Excavate and Quickdraw both deserve a place in the top, or rather bottom 5 keywords ever, at least in my opinion.

    Can't wait for excavate to rotate out because I'm just seeing the same 10 cards in every game and same 2 neutrals. It's not fun to go against it. The cards are too cost efficient and easy card generation with minimal drawbacks. Even without the legendaries you get. It's a good keyword for the first month but by god. If you don't know what to slot in your deck? Put all the excavate cards in it. Highlander? Excavate. Midrange? Excavate. Control? Excavate. Aggro? Excavate. Most uninspired mechanic. Most filler cards in the entire history of the game.

    I kind of don't want Colossal to return. Most of those cards that were relevant at all never had good feels for the opponent, and Neptulon still sees play in Wild and ends games. In Wild.
    Yeah the idea is fun, but please, do not monkeypaw Colossal out in its current form. It needs to be smaller and more manageable.

    The two big problems with the game is classes a dumb idea because the ywanted to piggy back the game off of WOW.
    The other major flaw is never having cards to answer all the cards in th egame which is the whole purpose of a player versus player game.
    After those two major design flaws the actual game design should be changed so the BOARD is actually important and not just a picture.
    get rid of charge forever the sad design does not do well with charge because the opponent can do nothing but spectate.
    NEWS FLASH the HS team has already been bringing back identical card designs and MANY that are very close with a stat tweak or a small word tweak.

    colossals and titans arent fun because so many times whoever pIays theirs first on curve just instawins much of the time. very corny very unheaIthy for the game

      If you cant ever deal with titans and collosals.. your deck building or strategy during the game sucks and theres no way you've ever high ranks thinking like this.

      its not who plays them first, its who plays them last. the EXCEPTION to this is in some very aggressive decks, sometimes golganeth closes games in my aggro shaman lists? otherwise, this game is decided by who blows their load too early... which is lame af, makes every game take 20+ mins

    Anyone who is in doubt whether it is right to buy even a single dollar of hearthstone products: blizzard is currently undergoing a series of proceedings and government investigations to understand whether hearthstone is a sort of rigged slot machine or not, the closure of the hearthstone project is likely to take place in short (for this reason there are already layoffs underway and they have canceled the duels...). Be very careful, on hearthstone it is EVERYTHING rigged by blizzard, the same youtubers who show you wonderful decks have an rng modified by blizzard itself, when you have spent thousands of dollars for the same decks, you will not have the same results, the same blizzard declares in one of the most recent patches to questionably and arbitrarily throw your account into specific pools if you play arena too often and believes that you are one of the scammer UA-camrs (yes it is a chain scam) who buy Chinese accounts full of gold only to draft endlessly in the arena until the perfect deck... scams and scams... crazy!!!🤬

    Quests were GARBAGE two obvious reasons it created a worse p2w game forcing everyone to have the quest cards AND there was no way for the opponent to react to them>>>>SOLOSTONE or P@W STONE is never a good thing.

    They really need to stop this nonsensical evergreen keyword approach. Just give yourself more design space, for crying out lout!
