- A former deputy superintendent of RG Kar Medical College has claimed that Dr Sandip Ghosh, who resigned as the principal after the rape and murder of a trainee doctor, was involved in several illegal activities, including the selling of unclaimed bodies. In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Akhtar Ali also alleged that the accused, Sanjoy Roy, a civic volunteer, was part of the former principal's security.

I'm actually deeply saddened by the fact that SCs hearing was about hostel and medical facilities instead on the main issue.. It's the SUPREME COURT! not a chai cafe!! There were soo so many details to be discussed about the horrific incident. The public had all eyes on the SC for a just statement for victim and severe punishment against criminals but they took it soo lightly!!??? And how the hell Kapil sibal was allowed to cut & intervene during SC judges remarks?? Don't they have any rules for state lawyers during hearing??? Pathetic
Feels like principle is also involved in the rape along with the victim who is caught .That is why victim was confident that no body can touch him .

I don't know what is the need for volunteer in a Government hospital... obviously patients are going to come to a govt hospital since it is free... Case flow is going to be good... Then what for u need a volunteer there and that too, allowing him to access all areas of the hospital
