- Have you blown it? Do you live with daily guilt and shame? As humans we are not by no means perfect. We deal with sin on a regular basis. While God always forgives us when we ask Him, we on the other hand try to punish ourselves. Did you know that God wants you to forgive yourself? He wants you to be free and free indeed! I do not live with daily guilt and shame. I am not a hypocrite and I live with a clear conscience and always look forward to experiencing the Comforter who will turn up at just the right time . I don't care much about forgiving myself and I have a clear mind that is able to reject this teaching. What you are teaching is not my experience and so I choose not to believe God taught it to you. Yes I am a sinner but God declares us righteous if we believe God is good and righteous and always has a way out for us to stand up under any tribulation. The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. If we are walking with God, we won't need psychology to make us feel better. We want to experience the LORD by our side and we will care about others and forget about ourselves.
