i kinda like how lyney isnt ALL or mostly about charged shots, he has an amazing nuke e skill and burst. he has potential for quick swap even with his skill and burst
ganyu can be a main dps melt, freeze support, freeze main dps, or your very own cocogoat. clearly theres a winner

I must agree that Lyney's gameplay is way easier than Ganyu melt. However, Lyney is not just a CA dps, his combo dealt huge dmg by his E and Q. If you change Lynette by Kazuha, the dmg is more explored.

Yeah, mine isn't fully built yet c0. His Q is hitting 115375 dmg.
For me, i prefer lyney over ganyu. His playstyle is so mobile friendly and do a great dmg. Too bad, in this video, the burst didn't got a good flex plus why Lynette, should put kazuha there when ganyu got shenhe. Lyney dmg didn't get a good showcase here.
Overall they're built different.
The only optimal way of using his E is by accumulating stacks and the fastest way you can accumulate those stacks is by doing charged shots, so no, Lyney is still considered a CA DPS.
the big thing imo is the fact that lyney's constellation gives him CA level up rather than the classic skill and burst

@@UenoyamaRhenzganuy has reverse melt so it is x 1.5 multiplyer and lyneys passive gives him. An x2 multiplyer in mono pyro so on that aspect he is still better, powercreep is inevitable
this only affects the whales but i dont quite like this change. Just feels strange the constelation choosing only one of the 2 abillities to 3 lvl. And i think more chars will have it in the future aswell
@@med2006v only if you don't look at the character holistically, Lyney as a whole is mroe reliant on CA than his skill, so IMO the constellation is a showcase on Hoyo's flexibility to accommodate cookie cutter templates to the character's uniqueness.
Timer isn't here because i don't want one of them to lose lol and in my opinion both performed really well you may can have different opinion

also you are ignoring the fact that ganyu is a AOE Dps but lyney only viable in ST teams and also forgetting that ganyu can use melt reactions and EM buffers like c2 kazuha meanwhile lyney isn't good in melt teams which makes ganyu's dmg a little higher than lyney but doing constant reactions isn't that comfortable for most situation overall ganyu and lyney both are really good units

ganyu always got powercreep and shadowed by future units but she always be my favorit off field dps, i like that her burst duration is more than 10s

Bruh only Ayaka has power crept Ganyu and Lyney is pyro. You fundamentally can’t compare them.
Also Ganyu works very well in multiple team comps so she’s still a better choice for many players over Lyney.
Her burst skill persists even after it cools down😅

Also we love the Ganyu + Ayato teams. Frozen eternally.
The Ganyu run looked like 2 separate runs with bursts magically filled again on phase 3.
Regardless, the best DPS is the DPS you enjoy the most.

Lyney and Ganyu are not the same, they’re both CA units but they fill different roles. You can compare them with Star Rail units: Lyney is Hunt/Destruction while Ganyu is Erudition. They excel at different content of the game. Lyney is great at destroying single/small mobs of enemies quickly with his CA, Burst and Skill that offers frontloaded high damage. While Ganyu is great at clearing large mobs of enemies with her damage-per-second kit. They are both CA DPS units but have different playstyles.

@@ReijiO-xv4eg I think people have a near-sighted view on Lyney's CA damage that they don't realize that his whole kit is more streamlined to deal as much damage in the least amount of time for a single enemy, and his CA only contributes to around 30-40% of his personal dmg. Whereas Ganyu is an exclusively CA focused DPS. It also grinds my gear whenever content creator make a disclaimer that one unit is only better at certain content. Yes that's the point, because that's how you design a balanced roster of characters (except for Archons who are great at almost every content in the game). Being better at one content doesn't make you bad at others. Yes there are maybe other units who are going to have a better output but that doesn't mean powercreep.

as ganyu main, yes she strong on melt comp, the different with lyney well most ganyu dmg came from her CA even the talent encourage to do her CA more than anything
while her burst is just a bit buff but its hard to use on melt comp cuz burst will mess up the flow and her E well its just taunt
but with liney his entire skill can do more damage than just his CA, his skill has a stack that do much damage, his ult have insane multiplier, everything on his kit can do much damage even without reaction thus the monopyro comp
they are two char with different playstyle not just CA
Also, Liney underperforms in no mono pyro comps.
Like, he can't even work well with Yanfei, so he is very limited on who to pair with.
For nukes, we basically know that even Candace can Nuke and Yelan can do high dmg with her E. Liney is awesome, but not really better than Ganyu imo, just different with only 1 possible comp.

@@Syokool that's just straight up braindead take. Like why would you put him in a team not designed for him and then compare him to other optimal teams? That's like saying, well Hu Tao underperforms outside vape teams like??? Also it doesn't matter if ganyu can be in more teams while being mid in every single one of those other teams. Like be fr ganyu in freeze?? The more practical choice is Ayaka which far outclasses and outdamages her. Ganyu sub dps? Most of the time you'd rather just run Rosaria than her. So yeah she can be in other team comps yet she's also easily replaceable in those,,, so no, it does not make her better than lyney.

You can play him on NA because his passive actually increases all of his damage as long as you can maintain pyro auro. Maybe try him in Superconduct but try to maintain the pyro on enemies. @@manoharalisa5829
I think the two are even, Lyney is not made to make elemental reactions, and although you do them in monopyro you end up doing more damage than in melts / vapes lmao, apart from that his elemental and ultimate do a lot of damage. The bad thing is that his loads are for unitarget, and Ganyu can melt most of his blows (charged attacks) since his skills do not do much damage, the good thing is that he does damage in the AoE, but I think Lyney is for little more f2p

@@Aki-hb1jydid you realize Liney can't get buffs without losing charges, right? That's why you never can play Liney unless you ONLY play Liney. Kazuha can help, but the time he uses for anything costs Liney time on field, making any plausible mono pyro comp trash without spending and over spending on Liney. Eula can do more than him, but so far we agreed the game has just too many hyper carries without much possibilities besides few comps.
The video shows exactly the fastest way to beat Childe with 2 characters, but Ganyu didn't lose. In fact, besides mono target, Liney actually succ. Ganyu can easily overcome the weakness of Liney with multi target, stuff, and also properly benefiting from buffs. In the long run, ppl will realize how bad is having 1 char that can't really get buffs. Also, this the reason why ppl kinda wanted Liney and Lynette to work together, but they don't.
Also, pyro and cryo are easily trash tier elements only above geo. Any other element will beat them, that's why you can't beat Yelan with Liney, you simple can't compare them at all.

Ganyu can be played both melt and freeze team. I don't know about Lyney but afaik his most OP team is only monopyro
Not the most OP, but the only team. He can't really work with anyone, not even Bennet due to his charge count mechanics.
He can't even work with Kazuha, unless you want to waste time. So you can see the pattern here, Liney is a very selfish character that can only work alone, but also can't work with other chars in rotations.
Lyney melt exist and it does quite a lot. He can still work well with reaction team it's just they offer you better option. As for Kazuha, what the hell do you smoke dude Kazuha is one of his best team since most his team are mono pyro Kazuha passive is always on. @@Syokool
Tf he works really well with Bennett and in fact he works exclusively well with Bennett because of how his stacks work, he'll always have 5 stacks cos his health will always be above the threshold of 60% due to Bennetts heals. He's way more easy to use than ganyu and works exceptionally well in his mono pyro team with Bennett xiangling and Kazuha or zhongli. Get your facts correct man

Not many talk about it but Lynette is so damn awesome! Her Burst infused with another element does a lot of damage, and I only have her at C0.

C6 Her can be a main DPS, she is no Sucrose ofcourse, but she is good.

Her last const making her get an Anemo Dmg infusion changes a lot her playstyle in my eyes :D
Honorable mentions would Rosaria, Yun Jin, and the impossible Lisa.
Still falls short on Sucrose or some things, and for dps you have Heizou that is an actual beast.
However Lynette has a mix of everything making her a good replacement for Sucrose + Yelan, and Sayu as well. C6 makes her one of the best 4* below Bennet, XQ and Xiangling.
I don't really like compared who the best CA character because I can say both is great with their own different build, team and playstyle.
Obviously Lyney won this time, and we didn't even have a pyro shenhe, to buff pyro itself

Both are insanely strong but for me it mostly come downs to gameplay and style , I prefer Ganyu overall for the extra AOE during her charged attack but like most people said she could be “boring” and doesn’t fully utilise her entire kits even though I fully disagree her Elemental skill is really fun especially you can Iframe or dodge incoming attack with it , lyney big number sure is satisfying to watch and he can easily achieve high number damage with bare minimum investment.

Many want to make comparisons of ganyu vs ayaka or liney but forget that she can cover other roles and still be a good dps
To be fair, Ganyu is rarely ever used outside of dps. The other role she can potentially take is burst support but even that is limited and she’s not actually bis for any of those alternate teams. For example, Ayaka is actually Hutao’s best whale burst support along wit( Elegy c6 Amber

@@minedude7112 i dont have ganyu or lyney, but i saw ganyu can melt back to back in 1 rotation easily. lyney vaporize isnt good as mono pyro. so ganyu is good for multitarget and single targets depends on the comp you're running.

Ganyu. Ganyu has aoe in every CA, and cryo has the crit rate from consonance and fast energy generation from 2 or more cryo characters, then her ulti is also a constant aoe dmg.
Meta living rent free in people's heads lol just pull for whoever you like no need for comparison who deals the most damage cuz in the end its a pve where characters is fun and useful in their own way

I have both lyney C0R1 and ganyu C1R2 since I really like bow charged attack characters , both are strong but in my opinion lyney multipliers and cons are better than her even tho his playstyle is more niche. well, ganyu can be played as burst sub-dps too so I guess thats one of the good point about her.
i honestly think ganyu did better at the 1st and 3rd phase, lyney did better at the 2nd but at the end of the day, i wanna marry them both no matter what

@@LightSpark003 do you know what kazuha does? He literally gives you elemental damage bonus for the element you swirl. That literally makes him best anemo unit for Mono-element teams. He could have gotten a faster clear.

@@LightSpark003 Kazuha gives the team elemental damage bonus based on his EM level as part of his kit, plus he can use VV for increasing elemental damage even more. This is why he is so good in mono elemental teams, Sucrose can share EM but that is useless for Lyney so Kazuha is incredibly good.
@@LightSpark003 no, 4pc VV brings down the resistance of enemies to the element you swirled by 40% for 8 seconds. The elemental damage bonus is Kazuha's Passive.
