Looks like the typical dead mall with half the stores empty. Mall shows were huge back in late 90s. 3 day shows couldn't wait to get out of school on Friday afternoon and spend the whole 3 days ripping wax then selling my hits to turn around and buy more wax!

Sir, I hope you don’t find this inappropriate, but I need to thank some of your viewers. I work with Veterans, who battle PTSD. I’ve introduced them to the hobby, because hobbies give them peace, and “downtime”. It’s only me, and sometimes it’s hard to find cards, for them. I can’t swing buying them rookies/autos. Some of your viewers have sent me cards, for them to open, or trade, and I appreciate their kindness! You’ve brought them hours of peace. Thank you all so very much. 🇺🇸
Basically like the twin oaks card shows in Portland, Oregon and Washington area lots of cool stuff comes through there I’ve seen graded ali autos, mcgregor gloves and all the typical stuff as well
Not gonna lie, I am beyond impressed with the knowledge of the cards folks had in their cases, think it's underrated when folks know what they have in their cases, a lot of bigger shows you get just insane amount of cards from sellers that they know very little about, dudes at this show knew what they had!
In the late 80s, a mall is where I learned all my 86 fleer basketballs cards were worth a lot. I sold all my doubles and paid of one semesters college expenses. I later sold the entire set I had with a mint perfectly centered jordan (not graded).
You should check out the Hartville Marketplace show sometime especially in summer when they add the outdoor tables area ..it’s near Canton ..every other month
Smokehouse??? In your neck of the woods? Really Ryan??? Come on down to where real men play football and they have the best smokehouses, BBQ, etc...- Kansas City Baby! 😂 Thanks for sharing! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Take Care/Stay Safe ✌
Yo what’s up Ryan, I saw you at this show and we talked for a bit I was the tall 14 y/o with the America crocs idk if you remember me but I just wanted to say it was awesome meeting you
How many tables was this show just curious? Does anyone know anything about the Mentor Mall Great Lakes show happening April 28-29 too, I think I heard that one is about 50+ tables, wondering if anyone has been and can say if it's worth a decent drive or not. I like the concept of mall shows just don't want to travel and not be able to do much there.

Love that you supported this smaller, local show.

@@cardcollector2 thank you, Sir. Love your videos, and I appreciate you responding. Didn’t expect that. 👍
@@forourtroopssake7373 that's awesome! 💪
@@ninjawinnja8096 thank you, Sir🇺🇸. They are in more pain, then we are.
All the shows we used to hit in the 90s were in malls. Lots of fake 8x10s and some cool cards from when I was a kid 😂
It’s nice to see you supporting the smaller shows. The more exposure, the more people will get involved with our hobby. Keep up the good work!
You tell 'em. Card Hobby Stay Strong, represent!!!!
You should do more smaller shows supporting smaller dealers and spread the wealth. Respect
I would go to sports card shows at malls every weekend as a kid
Safe travels when you on the roads! Great pickups!
Went to this show Saturday and shockingly found some cool rare 90s stuff
Receding hairlines and backward snaps are a tough sell. I had to drop the torch myself years ago :(
😂
That Carter patch auto was amazing. He was my fav player growing up. Awesome pick up!
card shows in dead malls are awesome

Was at a mall show two weeks ago and it was pretty darn busy, hope the one this weekend is even better!
In the late 80s, a mall is where I learned all my 86 fleer basketballs cards were worth a lot. I sold all my doubles and paid of one semesters college expenses. I later sold the entire set I had with a mint perfectly centered jordan (not graded).
Not that weird, we have them monthly at 2 different malls in my county.
Sports card shows in malls are pretty much the norm in the Bay Area. Been having those since the 80's.
Interesting - good to know
did many card shows at the mall with my dad in the late 80s and 90s
Ryan has come along way in just a short amount of time. My man is moving a whole lot of product. Congrats
The only shops near me is in a mall!
I know baseball isnt your favorite but that O'Neil Cruz SP psa 10 at 50 bucks was a steal.
Thanks for the heads up!

Been to that one last year. Surprisingly ok for a show in a mall. It's like travelling back in time going to Piqua though lol
Smokehouse??? In your neck of the woods? Really Ryan???
Come on down to where real men play football and they have the best smokehouses, BBQ, etc...- Kansas City Baby!
😂
Thanks for sharing!

Take Care/Stay Safe ✌
Thanks Ryan for the Deal again!
Malls by me have some shows too
Question ❓
How do you keep track of what you paid for everything, before getting back to the shop and cataloging it?
We have it on film - makes it easiest
Dante "Hitner"
Yo what’s up Ryan, I saw you at this show and we talked for a bit I was the tall 14 y/o with the America crocs idk if you remember me but I just wanted to say it was awesome meeting you
The guy you bought the Goldberg off of was at our local card show in eastgate Ohio mall lol
Really liked that carter patch, super nice card
Definitely one of my favorite pickups!
that was fun seeing you at a local smaller show, i enjoyed
Appreciate that!
The Gary Carter is sick!

Bro, why do I feel like I know you? I’m in Jackson Township, just north of the hall of fame.
That Carter is an amazing card. Wish I had it
A lot of joe Thomas
Hurts my soul how dead the mall is. Most of the malls in Chicago are always packed but it makes me sad to see how some are going out of buisness
Yeah a few around here are struggling but some are amazing. Definitely interesting
Ryan the machine, I will be attending the burbank show this weekend
Hey Ryan. Enjoyed the trip to Piqua!! For me, it was a virtual one through your post. Thanks ever so much!!! As always, Peace....
I went to this show. It was a good show. I was saddened to see how dead the mall has become. I used to hang out at at this mall years ago.
This show definitely put a few folks in the mall that weekend / it was more a track for older folks than an actual mall
Another cool video, thanks Ryan!
A mall show? Heavens to Betsy young'un
😂
Damn a nick Bolton rookie auto for $1?!
Definitely a solid deal!
Love Ryan’s content
