I love Heartache... on my first playthrough, it was the first song that really stuck out to me as "good." Now look at me, I downloaded the whole OST on my phone, and I love most of the songs.

The Year is 2021 Deltarune Ch2 released a month ago. It has dragged me away from the stresses of university and back to a simpler time; i have officially been dragged back into my undertale phase.
Literally the #1 moment of "I know what I have to do but I don't know if I have the strength to do it" Or rather in this instance, "I know what you have to do but I don't know if I have the strength to let you"
Man this song gives me the feels. If they ever make an undertale movie Sharax should be the one remixing the songs. They always give a certain vibe to each song depending on what's happening during the song
I was hoping we got a hopes and dreams remix next. But, we got this one instead. Hopefully the remix she's working on for Undertale is hopes and dreams!
This is one of the few songs that I REMEMBER watching the moment it uploaded I was on trip in a different state with my family and I saw a notification on my phone so I listened throughout the entire thing lol
But on the other hand, she left her one true love with the responsibility of an entire kingdom while being entirely aware that he doesn't make the greatest decisions, since they're based on what he feels at the time. She was the brains of the couple. She knew that, but abandoned him. She tried to forcefully adopt children/nearly kidnapped them, and when they did manage to leave, she didn't even go along to protect them. When they left, she was basically like "Have fun dying, my child!". And she didn't even have the guts to go back to the castle to suggest Asgore her "better plan" which was basically Asriel and Chara's plan, who failed miserably. She didn't try to calm Asgore down, she didn't reason him, she didn't support him. While yes I do agree that what Asgore did was wrong, he realizes his guilt fully. Toriel puts all the blame on him, and somehow everyone agrees. I don't HATE Toriel, but I honestly think she could've done better. If that wasn't enough, the fanbase thinking she's perfect, done nothing wrong etc. makes me dislike her more. Sorry for the rant, I got a bit riled up. It often happens to me, but I had to get that off.
FuttyAndMuffins She left Asgore because he decided to slaughter children to obtain their souls so he could release the monsters from the underground. Toriel tried to keep the humans in her home so Asgore wouldn't kill them and get their souls. She didn't continue out of the Ruins with the humans that left her because they had proved themselves to her that they could survive without her guidance and protection, also because there were other monsters in Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, etc. that could help them. And Toriel didn't try to reason with Asgore and find another solution because he may not have agreed and could have (accidentally or purposely) killed her. It's also because she was so torn up over the fact that both of their children had died and Asgore did nothing to try and save them. Asgore wasn't supervising the children properly, causing Chara to eat the flowers and become sick and die, and he did not try and help Asriel by giving him some sort of defensive system in case of human attacks, causing him to die and turn into a flower after either Gaster or Alphys's failed "determination" experiments to bring him back.
