- When Winston Churchill became Prime Minister of the wartime Coalition Government in May 1940, he pledged his "blood, toil, tears and sweat" and within days of his appointment he was called upon to honor his promise. As the Netherlands fell to Adolf Hitler and France prepared to follow suit, rescuing thousands of Allied servicemen from the beaches of Dunkirk was Churchill's top priority.

It feels like I was a German soldier in a past life or possibly fought them. I remember having terrible nightmares as a kid like a giant lawnmower blade standing straight up and coming toward me, destroying everything in it's path. When I say giant I'm talking the size of a house. From the ages of 4-8 I remember them well. What sent a chill down my spine was coming to the revelation that it wasn't any lawnmower blade, it was a swastika. There was no way I was exposed to any of this at that age. I didn't fall asleep while it was on the history channel or anything and had it get stuck in my mind without knowing it. I can't wrap my head around how I was dreaming of such a thing. They were some of the most terrifying dreams I ever had

Pas vraiment à l'époque ^^ suite à la guerre elle a été "occupé puis divisé (RFA et RDA)" par les 4 alliés et aidé financièrement pour la reconstruction et la stabilisation du pays, surtout Berlin... Et aussi dénazifier la population, limité son armée puis il y a eu la guerre froide avec le mur.. les deux blocs etc....

I had an uncle that lived in Germany. He broke into an abandoned hospital in the late 80's and stole a gynacologist chair and tied it to the back of my grandmas car with a super long rope. I guess she took off out of the driveway and went up the road 50 yards or so and the chair took off out of the driveway following her😂. He made sure it was long enough where she wouldnt notice. She made it a mile down the road without a clue that rhe gyno chair was scraping and banging into things on the side of the road. It ended up getting snagged on a fire hydrant ripping it out of the ground and going off like a gyser. I miss that dude.

Como ex: guerras Napoleônicas, a Primeira Guerra Mundial 1914 - 1918, As Grandes Batalhas nas guerras do Império Romano, as Conquistas e Vitórias de Alexandre o Grande, as Batalhas nas Guerras do Império de Genghis Khan. na América do Sul tivemos duas Guerras Importantes a Guerra das Malvinas em 1982 e a Guerra do Paraguay em 1864 - 1870. OBS: muitas foram guerras civis entre o próprio povo, as mais Conhecidas e estudadas guerras civis da História são a Guerra civil Americana 1861 - 1865, a Guerra civil Russa 1918 - 1921, a Guerra Civil Chinesa 1927-1937; 1946-1949 essa guerra teve um período de trégua entre os Nacionalistas e Comunistas, que se uniram contra as Forças Japonesas que invadiram o país em 1937, a Guerra civil entre ambos os lados Continuou em 1946. e a Guerra civil Espanhola 1936 - 1939 que foi um tipo de "ensaio" ou preparação para a Segunda Guerra Mundial. L'armée française s'est certes écroulée en 40, mais elle a sauvé le Royaume-Uni dans sa chute et lui a permis de continuer la guerre. Si les soldats français ne s'étaient pas sacrifiés à Dunkerque, les Britanniques auraient perdu la quasi-totalité de leur corps expéditionnaire. De plus, l'incroyable puissance aérienne allemande sort amoindrie de la bataille de France, puisqu'elle est amputée de plus de 1 000 avions mis hors de combat. Des appareils qui manqueront grandement aux nazis lors de la bataille d'Angleterre permettant aux Britanniques de ne pas être submergés par la Luftwaffe.
Et ce docu très partial et peu profond n'en fait aucune mention, et survole bien des aspects.. En revanche le chiffre des 1000 appareils est contesté : ce qui est sûr c'est que l'armée de l'air française n'a pas démérité, bien au contraire, avec des unités d'attaque au sol qui ont été stupidement sacrifiées par petits paquets et une chasse qui se battait à haute altitude le plus souvent avec ses principaux appareils globalement nettement inférieurs aux adversaires (Morane-Saulnier MS406, Bloch 151-152 et Curtiss H75)
La voix française me semble être celle de Daniel Craig, très agréable.

For the French people this is like a lost part of the puzzle of the WW2 german offensive that they have never been taught in history, as it may be too embarassing but from a purely strategic and military perspective it's interesting to see how the German were using technological advance and preparedness and german efficiency. It didn't matter who would have been in the place of France, unless they had the size and numbers of Russia they would have lost the same way.
