Sorry, 1:02, to say that these headphones would appeal to audiophiles is a ludicrous claim. None of these even come close to a $150 pair of wired headphones.
In my country, Soundcore Space One Pro is sold for $105. This means that there is only a $25 difference between it and Earfun Wave Pro. I do not think it is worth it.
I Tried Bose QC Ultra went Momentum 4, Tried Sony XM5 went Momentum 4, & Apple AirPod Max with USBC went Momentum 4…. BEST bang for the Buck are the Sennheiser Momentum 4.. I humbly submit
I'd agree, they went on sale for $200! I have the bowers and wilkins px7 s2e that I prefer as well as the qc ultra. Mom4 doesn't play nice with my tv, so bose is great for tv.
Sony ULT Wears are $128 U.S. right now which is incredible value. The ULT button gives you silly amounts of bass but if you leave it off and tweak the equalizer a bit you have a really nice clean sounding pair of headphones. ANC is typical Sony excellent, not world class but damn close. Really at that price you can’t beat them.
I'm a little confused because not long ago you had a video where it sounded like you thought the space one pro was better than the ult wear, but that was not represented here in this video
The Stax SPIRIT S5s are the best sounding headphones I have had and I have had the PX8s and Focals! They don't have noise canceling but I have other help with that. THE Stax SPIRIT simply have the best sound for me
Hi Aaron!!! Hope you are well !! I have the WH-1000XM5 and I was amazed by their ANC!!! Nextdoor they were partying during New Year's Eve and in a distance of only 15 cm from the paper -thin wall with the XM5 you couldn't hear a thing, only your music in a low volume!! I was really impressed by their ANC, their battery 🔋 and the fact that I wore them for almost 8 hours without being tired. I can't compare them to Bose QC Ultra cause I don't own them but I believe the XM5's really crush it!!?
I used three pairs in the last year and they all had problems as you said…Currently I am using the fourth pair, but sooner or later it will start squeaking
Idk man, the Momentum 4 and Sony XM5s are pretty great, if we are talking premium. I choose those 2 over the Bose, especially with a DAC amp/dongle. Not saying that the Bose are terrible, becuase they are far from that, but I feel the quality in the Momentum 4s and XM5 beat it out in my opinion. Definitely worth a shot
If this video release 4 days ago I would’ve been here to sing the ult wears praises but 3 days ago I simply was removing them from my head and they broke at the hinge. Same issue I had with older Sony bass headphones like the xb950n1. Two pairs. Other than them being fragile as a sprained ankle they’re great!
Thanks for the year end video. I’ve tried almost all of the wireless ANC up to the $800 Focal Bathys. In my listening experience The Bathys sounded the best. The Bose have the best noise canceling. The Sonos and B&W PX7 S2E and PX8 sound good but not as good as the Bathys and the noise canceling isn’t as good as the Bose. All of them are comfortable and fit my big head and ears. Wasn’t a fan of the 2 Sony 4 and 5 models. I Got the Bathys used from Amazon for $500 so the price was higher but still in range of the others. Happy New Year!
Happy to see your "best of..." videos, and glad that the Sony ULT WEAR made your list. Is there a reason you did not pick the B&W PX8 for top premium? Is it because of its age, over a year old?
Ive seen your videos on ult and xm4 as well as xm5 but I'm still undecise. For the same price, would you still choose ult over xm4? The only thing I really dont like of the ult is the bulky look. Forgot to add that I mainly listen to trap/reggeaton in the gym and more chill-based music for my study sessions.
Reduce the bass shelf on the QC ultra and it will clean up the whole sound quality. That said , my budget/midrange and high end headphones/earbuds for wired and wireless would be : Budget : Sony MDR 7506 (these are legendary , but you need to swap the pads to yaxi pads or else it will have a veiled sound and buy a Capra strap to increase the comfort). Midrange : focal azurys (clean , neutral with the focal dynamics ) Mid range to High end :Dan Clarke audio noire X( fast , punchy bass , neutral mids that’s not forward and airy treble . Soundstages great and amazing imaging and overall great details for the price .) As for wireless : Midrange : AirPods Pro gen 2: meta tuning neutral with bass boost . Good details for a wireless. High end : focal Bathys (may not have the best ANC or mic , but for sound quality they are warm, slightly colored , fun with amazing dynamics ).
I snagged the XM5s a few months back, and honestly, they’re the dodgiest headphones I’ve ever wasted my quid on. Even with LDAC switched on, the sound’s proper rubbish. As a metalhead, I can’t stand these cans. Absolute shambles! I reckon my next set will be Focal Bathys.
@insomniadreamz4097 I gave that a whirl too, mate. The thing is, I'm a bit of a metalhead audiophile, ya know? Proper picky when it comes to sound. Gotta have top-notch instrument separation when I'm blastin' some death metal; can’t be doin’ with a muddled mess!
I'm having difficulty choosing between the Bose QC Ultras and the Sennheiser Momentum 4s at the moment. I got a great deal on the Bose so there isn't much difference in price and they are more comfortable, more convenient, and have better ANC, but they can only do aptX on my pixel when plugged in and cannot do it over Bluetooth. While the SM4s sound better and can do aptX over Bluetooth but are less comfortable... 🤔 I also tried the Sonos Ace - which had the nicest fit but lose to both on sound quality - and XM5s - which were too base-heavy and the worst fit.
@b1gd312 to be honest, i ordered the px7 s2e before i got the Sonos and i was so underwhelmed that i sent them back, the Sonos for my taste are better headphones in every aspect. Sorry…. I really enjoyed the Sonos until i got a surprise AirPods Max for Christmas, they are both amazing. The px7 not so much really, the ANC is useless, transparency is mediocre and the sound quality on AirPods Pro (not even the max) is better than the px7.
Did not know the QC ultra uses snapdragon, will consider them next time, have the B&W PX8 currently, even though they sound brilliant, I do miss the unparalleled noise cancelling of XM5/QC Ultra
Given my xm4 earbuds have recently gone down the drain with the rapid battery drain problem, I wouldnt consider any Sony headphones. I am more than surprised you endorsed sony in this video 😮
Thanks Aaron for all of your reviews and comparisons in 2024. The Cambridge headphones are the ones I'm looking at for they're sound quality but I'm worried about the fit. A lot of reviews I've seen say that the headphones are uncomfortable what do you think? 💯🇺🇸

I have a question about your audio samples I have been listening to the momentum's M4, Bose QC ultra headphones and the Sony wh 1000 xm5. Please note I am indeed wearing the XM5s, however I feel like the sample sound for the XM5s have an EQ applied to it while the others are on their default, am I crazy or is it possible?

Can Earfun Wave Pro do LDAC with multipoint? Unfortunately some newer Android phones sound awful with AAC and better with SBC but some like the Soundcore Q45 always default to AAC even after you disable it in Developer settings.
I have a different opinion about Sonos Ace. These are really bad headphones, muddy, overly bassy with limited midrange and sopran tones. Stock tuning is for bass lovers only and lack of proper eq in application makes it even worse. Had them and sold them, maybe Ace 2 will be better sometime.

If your happy with your buds i dont think its worth the trouble to find better ones. Its really not so easy to get enough information of these reviews if you cant try them by yourselves. Im on this channel cuz the audiosamples are the biggest help i can find on the inet cuz reviewers tell you that every headphones sound amazing. Im much more picky than them. :D
Hello, among the liberty 4 nc soundcores or the Oneplus buds 3 which ones do you recommend?
