Exploring Washington Island located in Door County, WI

My family and I decided to take a short one day trip to Washington Island. We boarded the ferry and made our trip around the island. The first stop we visited was the Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm. Next, we detoured to the mountain tower located in the middle of the island and then ended the day at School House Beach. Enjoy!

It was $98 round trip on the ferry? Why was it so much? I thought it was about $15?

You pay per person, AND for your vehicle. For us, three people and a small car, we paid $68, so I can see how they paid $98! 🙈
