The world needs sewing instructors like you. So many youngsters of all ages want to learn to sew. My 6 year old granddaughter just asked for a sewing machine 😯. I was surprised, yes. Sending your channel to my older granddaughter who has her own sewing machine. Thanks.
My tshirts are too boring for this exciting project. Might have to pinch some from the grandkids and make a memory bag for their mummy. Thank you for the idea.
great idea to recycle /purpose shirts you like (but can't fit or got ruined in other spots) without having to drive yourself nuts trying to make a t-shirt quilt!!
Hi Sue! Very clever! With more states banning plastic grocery bags, make several of these T-shirt totes to keep in the car. Quick and handy! Thanks Sue!
Oh my I just made the cutest sweatshirt bag, I wish I could post a picture of it! The outside is from a gray Adidas sweatshirt and the inside is soft fleece sock monkey fabric and I made a little pocket for a phone and some other little things, thank you so much! ❤️
Awesome use of T-shirts that we refuse to let go of but never wear anymore. I keep seeing the easy point turner in your videos I really think I need one of those now.
once again an ingenious project to reduce, reuse, recycle. I like the idea of creating the faux top border by making the lining piece longer- an easy technique to create more detail in your bag. thank you.
When my husband and I travel on long road trips, I like to take along a tote bag with reading material and puzzle books to help pass the time. Now I can have a new one to take along when we are able to travel again. Thanks for a great project.
Super cute tote bag. I will definitely be making one as soon as I can get the fusible batting. I think my son gas tons of T-shirt I can steal, I mean have. 😂😂😂 Lol
Loved your Tote video. I have made t-shirt quilts, but never thought of making a t-shirt tote. In the future, I will definitely be making a tote to go with each quilt. Thank you for your very understandable and thorough video. Just discovered you via Alex Anderson.
Oh my gosh!! I love it, what a genius idea!! I need to catch up with all the other videos. Boy, I am missing out in a big way. Darn washing machine broke down and it’s keeping me from all ur videos!
Of course you could have use interfacing, the same batting or even foam. For a beginner project I wanted to keep as few extra materials a possible. Always room for more projects down the road :)
You can of course but you might want to adjust your length a little and maybe the width. This is a flat bottom bag so those measurements weren’t included.
So nice to give a favorite old t shirt another life
My daughter now wants me to give her all my tshirts......great job
What a unique idea - will have to get the grand kiddies favourite used tshirts to do this with. Thanks again for another great idea
That's a great way to construct a bag, you also have the loveliest voice on UA-cam! Thank you lovely lady. Best wishes from Scotland.
Why thank you
Great idea alot easier then making a t shirt blanket but still gettinf to enjoy that old favorite tee
I truly appreciate that the tote has fabric handles as opposed to tee shirt remnants. More stable.
Liked the lining collar on the tote bag like the eye glass case.
Great way to use your favorite t shirt. I like the tool you used to turn the straps.
What a great way to keep a favorite t-shirt and make it useable!
My granddaughter will love this idea!

Wonderful wy to use your favorite t-shirts.

Now I have to find T-shirts from my adult children. What a fun idea, thank you.

Me too!! I've done a few others too. It's a great way to use up an old shirt
What a great idea! Love it.
What a wonderful idea thank you I’m going to do this for my grand babies!!!
Love this one!! Can't wait to use up favorite tee shirts that no longer fit just how I like!! Thanks :-)
Super cute tote bag. I will definitely be making one as soon as I can get the fusible batting. I think my son gas tons of T-shirt I can steal, I mean have. 😂😂😂 Lol
I like the flexibility for size... Putting this one on my Upcycle Tshirts list. (Short list.... pillow is the only other idea)
Great idea
Love to repurpose items and this is a great idea for all those t-shirts we have that are no longer being worn. Thanks again Sue!!!

I love this, thank you
This is a great idea for those tshirts , that I can't part with :)
I'm the cheapskate saying, "Save some money, use the back of the shirt for the back." But I love this, and CD will be trying this DIY.
So fun!
Who doesn’t need another tote bag
Now I want to make several of these... can use old tshirts or get some cool ones st the thrift store.
New bag
Yes!
Why did you not use interfacing of some kind in the straps? Just curious...I always use something...
Of course you could have use interfacing, the same batting or even foam. For a beginner project I wanted to keep as few extra materials a possible. Always room for more projects down the road :)
Could you box the corners for a larger tote?
You can of course but you might want to adjust your length a little and maybe the width. This is a flat bottom bag so those measurements weren’t included.
Have to get a T-shirt from my daughter & make her a tote.
Love this!
