- Thinking about grow jasmin fast? Check this video. I have shared how to grow jasmin from cutting with update. You will get a overall idea about how to grow jasmine plant from cuttings and how to grow jasmine, how to grow jasmine plant from cuttings. Growing mogra from cutting or growing jasmine from cuttings is the fast way and best way to grow jasmine plant.
**From a healthy jasmine plant, we have to select semi-hardwood stems as cutting. these are the stems that grow during a plant's growing season, partly mature but flexible and green. These types of stems are semi-hardwood stems and they are very active in forming roots.
**Take such types of healthy branches from your jasmine plant. Make a clean cut below a node and make sure every cutting has at least 3-4 healthy nodes.
**And simply put the cuttings in clean water. Before putting the cuttings in water, remove some lower leaves if there is a possibility to touch the water. Make sure at least 1 node has submerged into water.
**Change the water once every couple of days and keep the jar in a bright shady area.
**Cuttings will be rooted within 15-20 days

@@Plantalogy
Main just died
Can you share pictures of your plant now?
I just snipped some jasmine growing on a fence outside my bedroom window, and in finding out if it would root, I found you! Subbed.
Best of luck,☘️🌷🌸
"in a bright shady area" this always crack me up. It's like asking what Mariah carey wants lol
What is your background? You seem to understand and explain very well. I am impressed with your knowledge of propagation and maintenance of plants. Great job
Hello..🙂
Thank you so much. Appreciate your support. I'm actually pursuing a B.Sc in Soil & Environmental Sciences from a public university in Bangladesh. Just trying to share the information that I learned about gardening 🙂🙂❤️
@@Plantalogythanks for sharing your ideas. I will try this method . I have a jasmine plant but I gave them to my sister. It is blooming beautifully.
I was not successful when I tried propagating them in soil. Will try again once I get to visit my sister’s house. We are already almost fall here in the US so maybe it is not the best time to propagate yet.
Gotta love the YT LOLzzz. I so needed this info going try it tonight when I get home! Thank you so much!
Best of luck.🙂🌻
Arabian Jasmin is the national flower of the Philippines🥰🥰🥰
Sampaguita
Thank you! This is helpful.
I’ve tried for over a month now to acclimate my jasmine to outdoors in warm summer weather, and in only bright shade it seems to be getting sunburnt? “Bleached “looking leaves that then die…isn’t it a full sun plant?
I would think at almost 6 wks. It would be used to outdoor light that is only bright shade and not direct sun?? Any advice from more experienced Jasmine growers? Thank u!
Very nice...no BS..to the point. thank you!
Very nicely explained. It is useful for gardening enthusiasts who post to mention which place they are at.
Appreciate your love and support 🙂🇧🇩🌱
Excellent information about selection of cutting branch 👍
Wow. Your plants are so happy and healthy!! Thank you for sharing. ❤
Nice work 👌👏👏👏
Best wishes for Plantalogy💝🤲🇵🇰
Jazak Allah for this information
Alhamdulillah 😊🌱🌱🌷🌷🌷
Thanks for this video. It would have been even more useful for me if you had announced what the next step is when you have the first emerging roots. Do the cuttings now go in soil, in pots, with sand, with or without root hormone, indoor, outdoor, how long etc?
Appreciate your suggestion, here is some quick information 👉 the water propagated cuttings are usually transplanted when their roots are around 3-4 inches. 3/4 inches sized pots are suitable to plant. Since the cuttings are water-rooted, the soil should be moist for a week and also need to keep in a bright shade. After a week, gradually we need to move the plant to a sunny place.🌱🌱🌱🌻🌻
@@Plantalogy Thank you so much
So useful and knowledgeable video uploaded to grow cuttings of jasmine 👍🏼👍🏼🌷🌷🌻🌻🌺🌺
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you this is so helpful.
I am growing (trying to) jasmines plants from seeds. I planted 3 seeds at a time, each in a different pot. I managed to get 2 plants (out of 9) to grow into 3 stems each. Both with 2 leaves. When I started to grow the seeds, I kept them covered by a clear container to hold in the moister. Which worked well.
My question now is that they both have multiple stems about 2-3" each, can I removed the moister cover and just grow them normally, with watering and plant food as suggested. I am not sure when they no longer need the moister retaining cover.
Thanks for the video
Thank you
Thank you for share your method to other.
Very nice share
Thank you very much .l will try your way
I will see it .only water is enough to grow Jasmine from cuttings
Thank you 😊
Nice video Mam 👌👌🥰🥰😍😍
Beautiful
Thank u.
Nice video for gardeners. I tried this method but no root coming, it's more than two months gone still waiting but the cutting alive !!!🥺🥺🥺!!! Any advice for me... Please make some video's about how to grow Rose and Hasna hena from cutting. Thanks...
Take thick stems that are hard enough, the colour is between woody and green... And use a glass jar for propagation. 🌻🌻🌻
Best of luck🌹🌱🌱
@@Plantalogy Many thanks, I have some gardening video too, if you have time please watch and give some advice how can I get more flowers/vegetables.Thanks.
Sure🙂☘️☘️
Does jasmine grow in autumn in London
My cuttings are in water almost 4 months now .No roots .Any advice?
restart/change the water and dip the cutting in rooting hormone (it's a powder that comes in a jar; can be found at Lowes/Home Depot).

Superb video
Very well explained dear
Please make a video why my house plant that’s needs to be in in shade the soil get white mold??????
Sure, but I'm assuming those are fungi, developed due to too much moisture, use diluted fungicide solution (1/2 teaspoon in 1 litre of water) once every 5 days. And keep the plant in a well-aerated and brightest place for a few days... Hoping for the best😊😊🌱🌱🌷🌷
I am going to try this method.
Tried doing it in soil last year and mine died.
Can you grow a jasmine from seeds? I saw 2 thin seeds in the stem of the flower....would they germinate?
Thank you so much for your video!!! Can you please tell me which month is ideal to get the cuttings?
Thanks
Early spring & monsoon are the best times to propagate Jasmine plants from cuttings. 🌷🌷🍁
Thank you so much
Asalam o alaikum can you give information how to plants giving more flowers
Walaikum Assalam ❣️
You need to provide appropriate sunlight and proper food in order to get more flowers from any plant... Flower-forming plants require at least 4 hours of direct sun and require phosphorus-rich fertilizer. And also you need to understand the flowering season of a particular plant. The care tips only will work when the plant is in its flowering season. 😊😊😊🌷🌷🌷
Shouldn't selective trimmings also stimulate more flowering in Jasmin.?
What does ‘bright shady area’ mean, please? Does it mean ‘in a bright place but inside shade’?
Anything "shady" mainly indicates "a cool, protected area, spaces between plants". In such areas, plants receive a cool tone of bright light. 🌱🌷🌷
@@Plantalogy brilliant. Thankyou.
It would be indirect light.
@@aycaaltay9929 brilliant clarification. Thankyou.
can i grow it with my money water plant in a single bottle?
No actually. As soon as your cuttings have roots, transplant them into the soil for better growth.😊🌱😊🌱
I have this flower at my home but it's not like plant... It's like climbers.... Will this trick work on it's cuttings or not ??? Plzz let me know.
Yes, you can propagate that following the way I have shared. Collect semi-hardwood stems for good results. Best of luck☘️☘️🌸🌸
@@Plantalogy thanks dear ❤️
I've tried it in all seasons and never worked fkr me. What am I doing wrong?
Take thick stems that are nearly woody. Propagate in a glass jar/cup and change the water once/ twice every week. Hope this time it will work🙂🌷🌷🌷
Best of luck🪷🪷
Can we do this in august?
Namalla
on this video was just water for at least 17 days+? or with rooting hormone?
It was just clean water. ❄️🌱🍁
Are the Arabian Jasmine and Sambac same variety? Where does a jenuine selected variety will be available? Seedling for the selected Jasmine available. Please reply.
The scientific name of the Arabian Jasmine is Jasminum sambac, so yes, both are the same. But I exactly don't know from where you can get seedlings of Jasmine plants. You can check on "Logee's" website. 🌱🌱🌷🌷
A mouse or something snipped 3 branches in half so I’m trying to propagate them. 🙏🙏🙏
Hi will it flower if i keep it water?
No. 🫥🌷
My cutting sleeps and dies… it never lives
what do you do when they have roots? i tried planting a jasmine cutting after it made roots and it died 😭
I think this video will help you to successfully transplant a water-rooted cutting in soil 👉 ua-cam.com/video/dPbjFH4wSAk/v-deo.html
@@Plantalogy Thank you so much!!!! I'm excited to start rooting some cuttings :)
iN WHICH SEASON ???
Except for winter, which is the dormancy period of jasmine, you can propagate any time of the year. But monsoon is the best time to get much success 😊😊🌻🌻
@@Plantalogy Thank you so much ma'am. I will try to propagate Jasmine Cutting in the monsoon season. hope i will get the results.
@@mohdsohailkhan7519 Best of luck😊🌱
My plant is looking a bit pale … leaves look dry… why ??? Please help 😢
Mine does it when the humidity level goes down... A good practice is to put water in a spray bottle and spray on all leaves every other week ... Also remove any damaged or leaves that are dying
Also give it some fertilizer... Eg dip banana peels in water for three days then use that water 50/50 with fresh water
Not getting roots 20 days have passed
The cuttings can take more than a month to root during the winter months. If still the cuttings are not developing roots, start again in spring. 🌷🌷🍁❄️❄️
very good sharing. I want a part of your family. you are join in my family. thank you.
