my kids got this for me for christmas this year wow i love it im 6.5 over 350lbs the 5x is perfect way roomy i get out in single digets no prob having to give this my favorite outdoor gear item .im sure glad the kids asked dad what do you realy want lol lol thanks my kids said the service was like talking to family !!!!!!!!
Sweet! Finally a well made wool anorak in sizes suited to larger guys. Lol. I hate big companies that don't go bigger than an XL. I checked out your site and I'll be saving up to get one.
Mine arrived today and I'm very impressed at the quality! I've wanted one for a long time and Jeep at +econochallenge helped my make up my mind as to which one to buy. I'm extremely happy with this rak and will be ordering another for my wife in a couple weeks. Thanks Andy!
I really like it! I made one myself, but it's not nearly as nice as that. Thanks for sharing, I'd like to pick one up someday. Thanks for showing! Great work
''Test drove'' my new anorak this morning breaking trail....at minus 18 Celsius...thought it would get all wet and heavy from condensation. Not the case, it breathes and wears well.
Like the new look, just me but I prefer the 'Eskimo' style hood. Whenever I see someone wearing these ones hood up there is a huge gap on the sides of their faces. Even with draw strings there is a lot of material do close up. As a guy that never wears a broad brimmed hat in the winter. A toque being the hat of choice it make that hood act like a sail when it is open like that. The Inuit made those parkas and and hoods for a reason they work. All good stuff, from reviews I've seen on line. Way to go!!!!
+A J Taylor thanks for your input AJ something we should look into ,we are all ways looking for ways to adjust and improve like we say we want to get better not bigger ATB
+Dale C Hello Dale and thanks for your interest , if your all ready have wool in your kit then you could go with the canvas remembering this is the last layer of defense sheltering you from wind, if you don't have a good and solid wool layer then definitely go with the wool rak 1st.atb
Certainly looks a warm, durable and well put together anorak. I would like to own one some day. I think I'll put it on my "things I would like to own list" Do you ship to Ireland?
I have looked at your website for pricing of both the wool and canvas "raks". The pricing is Canadian dollars right?? What is the exchange rate and/or the U.S. dollar pricing?? FYI... I tried Emailing you from your website, with my Gmail address and was unable to do so. You should have an Email place a customer can just click on and send you a message!
Mixed fibers sorry can't help Im sure you could find 100% out there but only thing I can say is our Raks are of the best out there check out the reviews on the sight 5 stars all the way but we understand if you prefer 100% natural thanks for commenting.
Thanks for your fast answer, and would it be possible for you to make one out of full natural fibers? (full wool or mixed with something natural) one time? i understand this would make the rak more expensive. I realy like what you make, and i would loove to have one, i'm building a natural plastic free kit so it realy has to be that. Greetings :)
would like to help how ever we no longer make the 100% wool rak we chose to go with the 90% cause of the feel color consistency and performance of the garment as for the price we are paying more for this fabric than we did pay for the 100%
Hello again Kristoff after checking out my inventory this morning I noticed we still had a couple of 100% wool raks on hand they are black in color and we have XL,2XL,4XL in stock we all so have enough fabric left to make one garment in a smaller size.If you are still interested let me know. Thanks
