Heres my question. The Destined One's staves display the ability to change their size, whether it be shrinking so can put it in/behind his ear, or lenghtening it for his heavy attacks. All before you get the Ryui Jingu Bang. However. That isn't a technique of Wukong. That's an ability native to the staff. Ryui Jingu Bang has the ability to change its size, create duplicates of itself, obey its master's commands, is essentially indestructible, and is ungodly heavy. The *staff* does that, not Wukong himself. So, why can the Destined One change his staff's size at will, if he's not using Ryui Jingu Bang?
There were 2 times that I can remember of replicas of the Ruyi Jingu Bang The 1st that I can remember is when 3 guys made replicas of Monkey's Pigsy's and Sandy's weapons, then of course they wanted to steal the original, and the trio/Monkey killed them The 2nd is The Six eared Macaque, who disguised himself as Wukong up until Buddha revealed his true identity and form Wukong and Macaque both had staves Wukongs one was Golden. Macaques was made of Iron.
This is what i have always thiought about with this game that didn't make sense. And ive been looking for the ans but in the end the only conclusion i can consider is that wukong or the destined one can always make thinks smaller just didnt need to with the ryui jingu bang
i think it might just be basic magic, like shapeshifting(or changing the properties of something). To credit this, while shapeshifting fundamentally changes yourself and your attributes, the Jinggubang keeps the original traits of itself. What I mean by this is despite the Jinggubang growing longer, bigger, taller, wider, smaller, thinner, it still retains its property of being immensely heavy, while shapeshifting, ex. into a fly would make your durability as much as a fly. (im talking more about lore in this comment)

You're using random magical staves, that...happen to all have the same abilities as the Ryui Jingu Bang, despite explicitly not being the Ryui Jingu Bang, because you find and acquire the *real* Ryui Jingu Bang later. So that doesn't answer my question at all.
well, if you find the secondary sun wukong armor, for every talent you got it adds to the defense....after your 2nd playthrough that Armor will be absolutely broken But yeah your stance will only be changed if you have jingubang with the default sun wukong armor either change the weapon or the armor and you go back to your standard
It’s actually have nothing relate to be worthy or unworthy. Like Mijonir in the Myth, Mijonir only heavy, too heavy that even Thor, the strongest ever know, require his belt vs gloves that enhance his strenght to pick it up. So does Jin Gu Bang…it’s too heavy so destine one struggle to pick it up.

If I’m not wrong, Ao Guang told Wukong that the it started producing divine light and claimed that Wukong was destined to wield it but I think Ao Guang was kinda bullshiting to convince Wukong to take the Jingubang since it was a giant waste of space (or was it his wife that thought so?) 3:08 But in this case, it seems Ao Guang’s lying turned out to be true?

But some how they use it as pillar to stable the ocean…Dragon’s lord told him that just to please him and stop breaking his place. and since Wukong took Jingubang, Bermuda Triangle become one of deadliest area. Jingubang was a weapons before being use as pillar. But either way, only Four stone Monkey gonna use these staff anyway so he wasn’t wrong that the staff likely waiting for Wukong.
