In all seriousness just a 1 month review of the beautiful Yamaha MT-125 and just my honest opinion and feelings about this bike.
Compared to every bike I've had this is by far the best in every way, not saying it's anything crazy but it's definitely a great motorcycle.

5:11 I worded that wrong, meant to say it like "It's not amazing, but for a 125 it's amazing" because I mean, 125's aren't anything special but I really do like this one a lot.
EDIT: Watching this back months later I realize how annoying I am in this video 😂 please forgive me for using the same word every 2 seconds and not being very good with this review, it was one of my first videos and I could've definitely improved it, however I still hope you enjoyed it.

Dude I went today. That's really creepy. I sat on so many bikes. It's magical in there 😂 me and my dad went up from Dorset. Was a 4 hour round trip but worth it.
Also, I was wondering what kind of motorbike gear you use and would reccomend, and what exhausts you would reccomend with this bike.

Hey man, just curious as I'm thinking of getting one, does it have storage anywhere like under the passenger seat, awesome vid btw! I'm kinda fixated on getting it now, and did you get it brand new or second hand?
Just remembered I never took the pillion seat off tbh so not quite sure and got it from a dealer in excellent condition :)

hey bro just a question im 6ft2 tall and i am 16 years old and i will probably grow a little bit more do you still think that the bike would fit me for about 2 years?
I'm roughly 6'2/6'3 and the bike fits me perfectly fine, it does feel pretty small once you upgrade later on but it will be alright for you :)

I know this is an old video but I was wondering how much insurance was as it seems to be very expensive especially if your 17. I have seen your newer videos and you have an A2 mt07 and how was the insurance price on that too if I wanted to get a MT07 at 19.
I’m 24 and the insurance for my 07 was roughly £300 a year fully comp, my 701 was about £250 a year.

Is it suitable for the motorway? I'm planning to buy one so I can commute to uni rather than taking tram. The journey by car/bike is 11 miles, so would 22 miles a day be ok? I'd really appreciate a response. Thanks for the vid!
I did a video where I went like 120 miles on this motorcycle in one day, 22 miles is doable but I personally would like to go on a motorway with this bike, even on a dual carriageway I was getting overtaken by vans, trucks even a mini 😂 you can take them on a motorway but yeah, I wouldn't personally.

No problem, thank you for checking out my channel I really appreciate it 🙂 don't let my opinion put you off though, you can still take this on a motorway and keep up with traffic at legal speeds but I guess my opinion would be different if I didn't upgrade to the MT-07, I'm just use to a lot more power now.
For a first bike would you get one if these or a yamaha wr 125?
I love the WR, would've probably got one if I didn't see the MT in my local dealership, but the MT is great too.
Im 15 years, and will buy a bike in like 3-4 months. Thinking about either the Yamaha mt-125 (2017) or the new Kawasaki z125! Thoughts?
I was also looking at the z125, was looking at about 10 different bikes but I knew I wanted an MT-07 in the future so I decided to go with the MT-125, also I personally prefer the looks and think it's a great bike, depends what you prefer since they both perform the same pretty much.

Yeah I paid over 3k for mine, got a decent amount back when I traded it in for the MT-07 though :)
Reevy they hold value well , I ended up buying an aprilia rx125 for 2800 with 4.5k miles so not bad
@@motomc6962 The RX125 looks pretty nice tbh I had a Lexmoto Adrenaline a while back, I love supermotos and dirtbikes.
Reevy I’ve only ever ridden dirt bikes and never had a road legal bike before haha was close to getting the mt but I’m 6’6 so it might have been a bit little

Depends if it's new or second hand, you'll probably be paying around 2700-3500 euros.

Did you prefer the supermoto style or the mt/naked style?
Supermoto was really fun but the MT is slightly more comfortable and faster.

Yes the newer model that has the MT-09 style does have a gear indicator :)

Honestly, like he said, you get a feel for it. You won't even look at the gears most the time, you'll just know. But I suppose it's personal preference.

I’m 6’6 and ride a ybr sometimes which is smaller than this and it doesn’t feel too bad. It’s 78 cm seat height his size 81 so I’m sure this will be fine I’m considering getting one

Bought the Honda cb125r. Really love it. If that didnt exist tho i would probably have bought the mt 125. Well I think i will buy the mt 07 when im older

All great choices, if you go with an MT-07 it's a naked that feels like you should ride it like a supermoto, best of both worlds! 😊
