    I wish I was better at knowing when to stay or go. I'll be honest, I wait too long trying to "will in" the fish. It is especially true if shore fishing, dropping anchor, or ice fishing where some element of set-up is required.
    Usually, you're better to move.
    I am relentlessly stubborn, so I'll stay too long. I know it. Easier said than done.
    Locate, catch, and move on. That's a good summary!
    Nice song selection, too . The clash are one of my favourites.

      I have the same problem, mate. I tend to stay too long at the same spot. But we live and learn! 😁 tight lines 🎣

    Sound advice Jason, i usually stay in one swim for about the same time fan casting, Time any were from 10 mins to 20 minutes depending on size of the swim and features in the swim.

      Hi Dave. I think we all do the same. Especially during winter. At least we get a bit of exercise 😁

    11:10 that’s a good fish bruv! The drag was almost as loud as my big reels made me thing it was a meter Zed.

      Na mate. That zander was probably between 60 and 70 cm. Forgot to measure it...😞

    It’s annoying when you no the fish are there and they won’t commit but being mobile is the key as you proved
    Fantastic to see some Zander on the tube retuned to grow big and fat 👍🏼🎣👊🏼🍺

      Thx bruv 🙏 yeah funny how one spot can produce fcuk all and another not too far away can stock all sorts of fish.

      @ 100% when whiting fishing we will sometimes just let more anchor rope out or pull some in to adjust where we are sitting and be on fish it’s quite amazing. 5-20m can make all the difference hey?

    some of my fishing spot sometimes an hour you spent to get strike. that's more waste time. Now I visit one or two in a month in the spot but it's same results.

    We fish things by tides unless it’s whiting then we move after 5 minutes if we’ve had no bites crazy the difference between fish and fresh and salt water fishing isn’t it

    • @2BruvsFishing
      @2BruvsFishing  Місяць тому +1

      Yep! I know salt water fishing is a completely different game 👍

      @ 100% from the currents to dead still water. Both have 300 different veritable to consider when fishing. Time of day, weather, time of year, activity on the water
