Whatever one might think about Love Beach, it has amazing moments, and Greg's singing on this track is so damn beautiful I could cry. I love them so much.
Greg Lake was a very special exceptional talent. I place him 3rd all time as a bass guitar performer: #1. Paul McCartney #2. Peter Cetera #3. Greg Lake #4. John Paul Jones #5. John Entwistle #6. Gene Simmons #7. Sting #8. Chris Squire #9. Bill Wyman #10. Geddy Lee
I think Steve Wright was just trying to be funny by that end comment,A true ELP fan would have never throw away his LP's just because the band wore comfortable clothes,What a ludicrous comment to make!
Few good riffs on the album. I don't think they toured with it. Cover was the worst. Atlantic told them they owed them one more album. This was it. At least they came back later with Black Moon.

Yep, they wore comfy clothes when they played CalJam and no one ran for the exits.
Yes, what did he expected, some Peter Gabriel costume?
Not seen this before!
nice!

3 pissed off prog legends. Thanks Atlantic records.
Carl couldn't bring himself to use his Ludwigs on this.
That was all right - not as bad as I'd been led to believe. Why that album cover?!
Christ what an embarrassment ELP miming on this goon show.
JERK.
Even more pathetic than Santana's 'Maria Maria'
