I am a nurse that was watching a few youtube videos before getting dressed for work when I ran across your channel. I was dreading going to work today as my job can be quite stressful. I have numerous times thought about finding another career due to the physical and mental exhaustion of a nursing job. I just wanted to let you know that you truly motivated me to go to work today with a different attitude. You made me remember why I went into nursing and why I get up every day. Thank you for reminding me of the human side of medicine. I will go to work today thinking about you and doing the best I can to comfort my patients. I am really sorry that you are having to go through this. You seem like an amazing man!

My ER nurses and oncology nurses are my life. LITERALLY ! I LOVe them all and I know they are why I am still here! I am sending a hug to you and a HUGE thank you - without YOU we don't stand a chance. You are so very appreciated, needed & loved! THANK YOU!
Really! I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED - you? Comforting patients? Obviously you are not a nurse in South Yorkshire. My sister got NO such support. She fell ILL Christmas Eve 2015 and she deteriorated FAST. Against her will, she was COERCED into hospital where Staff and nursing staff were SCREAMING at her and ABUSING HER. She died 21 days later. Her cancer was of the rare endocrine and a lot worse than that of poor Danny who died recently. Then the NHS staff had the AUDACITY to BLAME ME for my poor dear sweet sister's death - MY PAL. They SCREWED IT UP, then BLAMED ME. She received NO treatment and they LET HER DIE. And I am NOT going to FORGET THAT.
Even with this horrible cancer, u still look damn good. Keep giving cancer the middle finger!!
And thank you, Dan, for sharing with us. I know he is no longer here but I find listening to his videos to be inspiring and so sad he is no longer in this world. I'm sure he is in a much better place.

I was your 400th subscriber. I had commented on every video and said although I wasn’t affected by cancer I sympathized with you. A week after that comment it was found my mom, who had just been cooking and functioning fine, was riddled with tumors and now is in my home on hospice with days to live. Cancer is horrible, and shocking. Shocking is a better word.

My sister in low had a metastatic cancer and doctors told as she was terminal. 12 years passed and she is much alive running a new bussines. She fight like a lion. I am sure you'll do the same. You have the same light and passion in your eyes. Love from sunny Greece.

You are brave and an inspiration. Never to take life for granted and if faced by the most grim outlook, at least try make the best you can to help others, for science etc. You cant do better than that.

It's wonderful what you are doing (0:45). You are giving to the cancer community, but you're also giving to other people (now & in the future) that will get diagnoses that THEY DON'T LIKE. And, you're helping show them how to PUSH FORWARD, even if the outcome might or might not be good. Honestly, I (similarly) had the potential for a very negative diagnosis when I was informed from study of my Xray that there was a BIG BLACK LUMP (size of an orange) in my right chest cavity. I only wish that I could turned to videos like this to encourage me and help me see the "light at end of tunnel". Okay, I'll keep watching now ...
Hi Dan, just wanted to say you're true inspiration. Your online platform is helping so many people and raising awareness of your rare form of cancer. I know you haven't had the best of news lately, but try to stay positive. Stephen hawking was diagnosed with ALS and expected to die within a couple of years, and ended up living a lot longer! Goes to show that none of us really know what tomorrow will bring. I truly hope you are able to beat this and no matter what happens, we are all here to support you along the way. As I said before, you are one very brave guy, well spoken and good looking on top of that. You could be a radio talk show host as you are a born natural for talk show entertainment. I was lucky with my stage 4 cancer of the neck and thank God everyday for such good doctors at Smilow Cancer Center at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Four year in remission but still never take each day as granted. Keep up the good spirits and you are one hell of a fighter which is a BIG plus. God bless...............JRW

It's crazy that your having to do this research and piece together how best to treat this cancer when we have all these specialist researchers and medical specialists that we just assume already have all the answers. What you're doing is so important. You're giving people an idea of how to emotionally and intellectually navigate an impossibly difficult journey. Your selfless ability to share information that isn't easy to even think about let alone talk about is amazing. When I watch your videos, I feel inspired and it puts my world in perspective. My mother had a very rare type of liver cancer back in late 80's - one there was no treatment for other than surgery. They removed the points of origin and as many tumors as they could. Luckily hers was a type that once the origin source is removed, the other tumors stop growing or spreading. But, her body knew the tumors were there and sometimes it got really rough. After 8 years she was doing as well as could be expected until the tumors seemed to be attacking her organs - not spreading but secreting enzymes that was shutting her down. The doctor said that was so rare he had never seen it actually happen and had only read about it. It wasn't genetic - there's never been anyone else in the family with cancer, before or after. There weren't a lot of people to talk to about it, because at the time so little was known. Something like what you're doing would have been so helpful, even if it is a different type. Forge ahead and keep doing what you're doing. You may not see this when you look in a mirror, but you are a warrior. Thank you for being that. My good vibes are with you...

I'm at a loss for words because it all sounds so weirdly trivial. You know. So like I mentioned on FB, all I can say is I just feel so proud of you... I didn't know how you were before this cancer, but I can say you are like a blossom now... you have this power, a kindness, a goodness that is like all these petals coming forth. Hi Dan..I have been following you for a while. I have Stage 4 mestastized Breast Cancer. I was given 4 months to live. It's going on 3 yrs in April. I do alkaline my body daily and have been on drinking 35% hydrogen peroxide. Tumors die in an alkaline environment. I can't be cured by I am fighting to keep it from spreading further. You have a great attitude and a true warrior. ! Will keep you in my prayers and hope all your followers will make a contribution! Medical costs are overwhelming! Doesn't matter how small..it all adds up! 😚💖💙💖

Valken I don't do alot of smoothies..I just eat alot of raw greens and vegetables. I wish I could get into drinking them..but they never fill me up!😢

It seems like there is a lot of meaning in the struggles you're going through, and how it will contribute to future treatments. I am lucky to be in remission from testicular cancer. Up until the 70's it was an extremely deadly kind of cancer, until a new chemo drug was licensed for medical use. Research into new treatment and medicines is definitely an important cause!
I'm here for the long run!
