Picked up a 99 supercab long bed 4wd that was on the way to the junkyard for 1000. All it needed was an intake manifold gasket. Best truck ive ever owned. I think it knows i save it from being torn apart.

You don't have to do anything with this shifter I bought the kit super simple to put on
@@anthonysmith2185 thanks for the reply unfortunately the donor truck is an 11 and im not gonna swap with out swaping the cluster colom and wheel. So im just waiting for another donor for the time being

I just did the swap, and finish the door panels, the dash and im working on the gauge cluster. Almost done with the gauge cluster and everything works flawlessly. If you need help i can give you my number to send you picture and walk you through what i did. And i didnt even buy the kit, i did it completely without the kit

What about the A pillars? I've only seen a couple of shots with this dash installed and both had the covers off of the A pillar.
Tried to swap the steering wheel but having trouble wiring the cruise control from the f150 steering wheel to the excursion anyone figured it out?
Great job!!!! Really nice kit and it's in my near future. Can you use the newer Plastic covers for the roof pillers between the dash and roof with the handle and do they line up at the top and bottom? Thanks Again!!

stoked to do this, been holding off till the kit came out, definitely doing this In the near future. being that wiring is something I'm good at I'll do the 08 column and if I can the dash, being my truck is not my DD I can have it down awhile while I do everything. Thanks for all the work you(s) put into the manufacturer and thought.
that a/c duct adapter is a pice of sh#t dont buy it they dont blow to much air i need to remove the dash again to figure something else

Great video as always!!! Will be ordering ur dash kit in a week or so. But question does the f150 steering wheel go right on where the 99-06 steering wheel is without having to change the column. So when i install ur kit i use my existing column n the f150 steering wheel. Am i correct on that?
Good information in general. The kit appears well done too. However I stopped watching at around 11:11 because I was hoping to see the dash removal, not only the installation. That might seem trivial to some, but for a first-timer, it has value. Anyway thanks.

So you take off all the wiring of the new dash ?
I did. I just cut the connectors off for the tbc control. My old truck didn't have it, along with pulling the relay out and the tbc control plugs itself. Also clipped the headlight wires a good 2 feet to work with splicing it in. I completely removed all the other wires off

all I did was weld the steering colum and machine to fit the new superduty steering wheel

Yes with a little work you get them to work
What do you mean by a little work? Repin, build a pigtail or part swap
I normal make the new controls work pig tail or what seems best and works
